Is tank the best role to carry?

I'm new to the game but it feels like it is the case. I decided to main tank for this reason, it feels like you still do crazy amount of damage, and you can have a big impact on a team fight.

I come from League of Legends so tank feels like the jungle of league of that makes sense. It could totally be not true, and maybe any role can carry the same amount but as a beginner, tank feels really strong, and as if it might be the best role to carry.

What do you guys think?

Need help, just lost almost a 4v5

Hello, I'm fairly new to the game but I got at least 40 competitive game on tank. I got probaly 5-6 on D. mon and I feel like I played this game pretty well (for a bronze).

I was against a hog and I'd say half the game he was afk or something, he has barely any damage, it literally felt like a 4v5 more than half of the game yet we still lost.

I'm not sure what I did wrong. I am new though so it's not crazy gameplay but if someone can have a look a little bit with the replay code being: XZ51HE

I would really appreciate that. It was probaly my best game on her, I did some crappy play but also had some good ones.

What to watch out for when watching your own replays to improve?

I heard that watching yourself is really helpful. However, I'm not sure if you watch the whole game in 2x speed or something or if it's better to only watch your deaths so you can avoid those?

I'm new to the game so I do want to improve but I honestly don't really know what to look at besides avoiding my deaths.

Thank you!

Have you used these "AI scribes" for note taking?

I've seen friends talk about something that they use to take notes with AI and summarize them.

Do you have experience with any of them? One of my friends said that most of the time, the notes contain words that aren't even English, and you basically have to modify it a lot but he says it still saves some time.

What's been your experience?

How do you handle rounds at your clinic?

What has been working well/not well for you guys? It's been a challenge for us sometimes "unimportant" details are lost that to me seem actually important. I'm still really new to the field, this is the first clinic that I work at so not sure what your experience has been with rounds.

Is it possible to volunteer in a vet clinic in weekends?

I'm not in the industry at all but I love animals and I've been volunteering in animal sanctuary with farm animals but I wonder if it would be possible to do the same at a vet clinic even though I have no experience/not studying in the field.

I'm wondering if some clinics would be interested like a few hours a weekend or something like that. Thoughts?

Is it fine to water manually with rain water? (Total beginner)

I live in Clearwater, Florida and I'm getting 4x7 gallons mango trees planted on Friday, and I'm trying to think for watering if it's fine to just do it manually with rain water?

Someone suggested I get a collapsible water drum to get rain water and then simply use a watering can and that should be good enough. I'm a total beginner though so I want a second opinion.

What do you guys think?

It's something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Collapsible-Containers-53-Rainwater-Downspout-Filter%EF%BC%86Overflow/dp/B0DL7B4G5N/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3IMGNW0EOJ37F&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.pAVqK6He7pEe_D7i5i6vL0wQ3FApKuQkwB3llkvsV_SxFI9LMVfgwFJ2GQ9B9sbIzluDaNbaE9nK3SLnT6GH68KQmo47lniiUqcjrKe0YqPD6itkS_EYRZ9EDaVkXb-9qpfMWyXc4HwijKCObtUV2o1CMQ6M2rm2CbFt-s6wNELPdLj_OrxwqtHNX-Tay27A2Ue_usUGz10mhaVmSra2NHODe4NigM0y_dNpOyjVMdeFA7FEq4xWkxePwXOW4wM7tiVtg4M3FfFHrWPrxzj9wmAZD0rRko8RfB9j-iDhJ5w.Q7d5sLHJTG8UDDY5dJQqXu7F3qs5TKTZWWPF6NV7quA&dib_tag=se&keywords=collapsible+water+drum&qid=1788359483&sprefix=collapsible+water+drum%2Caps%2C160&sr=8-1

Ready to plant 4 mango trees in my backyard but don't know how to ensure that there are no pipes that would cause trouble underground

I'm going to plant 4 trees for the first time (total beginner), a friend helped me figure out which variety I should pick, and another one is going to help me buy the trees (7 gallons) and help me plant them.

The only thing that I'm not sure is how to know if there's not any pipes underground or something like that which could cause trouble.

That's the part that I have no clue. I bought this house 3 years ago, and I think that's the last piece that I need.

Any ideas?

Thank you :)

How do you know that you have an idea worth spending time on actually building something for?

I have been looking for an idea for a week, and I feel like I'm spinning my wheels, and I should start building something but I don't know at what point do you know that you've got something worth spending time building versus spending more time finding ideas.

From zero to Ironman. Sharing my journey and exposing all my insecurities. Did it all of it from marathon to Ironman while living alone.

I started living alone in 2014 when I broke up with my ex and I was honestly so down back then, I did setting goals for myself, and did a marathon which years later turned into an Ironman so I'm sharing my journey years after, and if there's a single lesson I took away from it, it's that it won't fix you.

No matter how badass the challenge you're trying to accomplish, and then once you cross that finish line, it's not like all your problems all go away so here I'm talking about the story in case anyone is interested.

Did you buyers for your SaaS THEN built it or built first and then trying to sell it once MVP is out?

Title is the question. I thought in my mind that I should try to find people that are willing to pay for what my software idea is before even building anything. Maybe it's showing screenshots of what it would be or mockups or something like that but basically building very little, and trying to find a market for my product instead of spending months building without having a single customers.

What's your guys experience?

How far apart should trees be and can a seed that has been frozen be planted?

This is my backyard in Clearwater, Florida.

I'm thinking of planting 3 mango trees in there. I posted here yesterday but I still had a few questions. How far show the trees be from each other?

I never put anything on it to keep it nice so not sure if that will be a problem.

My second question is if I can take seeds that are frozen and plant them or if freezing them killed the whole thing?

There's a mango that I really like but I ate it already and froze the seed (wasn't thinking I was gonna use it but the mango was so good) so I'm not sure if that's a big deal or not.

Also some people were mentioning something about the sun but I'm not too sure exactly what that was. I'm going to add a a picture of the google earth view also if that helps.

Thank you so much,

Claude

Thinking of planting 3 mango trees in my backyard

This is my backyard. I live in the Tampa area in Florida. Mangos are my favorite fruit, so I was thinking of planting 3 mango trees in my backyard.

I have absolutely zero clue about gardening/fruit planting so I don't know if it would be doable and a good idea.

In my mind, I'm thinking I could plant trees of different mango varieties but then I wonder if it's gonna be a problem that they're gonna "steal" nutrients from eachother so it would be hard to keep them alive or if there's not enough space so that the roots will get mixed up.

Those might be silly questions but as I said, I'm an absolute beginner. I'm just thinking that if I'm gonna plant one, how much work is it to plant 2 more?

What are you guys' thoughts?

Thank you very much!

Always wanted to build a business for the animals but never could get going. This is day 1

I wanted to start my own farm sanctuary one day when I went vegan in 2016 so I went and volunteered in a Farm Sanctuary in Orland, California for 3 months. I saw how much work it was, and how little the employees were getting paid, and I thought to myself, what if instead of starting a sanctuary, I built a business that generates a lot of revenue that I can give.

That trip planted that seed in my mind, and I started selling books on amazon but that failed, then started a shopify store but that also failed. Try starting a consulting agency but I also failed miserable at that.

At that point, it's been 10 years since that initial seed was planted, yet I still have nothing to show. Sometimes it makes me feel really bad because I feel like I owe the animals to really be my best.

I've been a software engineer for a long time but I never built a business around it. Today, I'm challenging myself to do it, and I gave myself a goal that is believable for me even though it's a stretch. The goal is that by the end of 2027, I get to $1 000 MRR with a SaaS (software as a service)

I have no clue what to build even though I'm very confident that I can build almost anything with the skills that I have in software dev, yet the big challenge will be learning on how to find a need that people have, and then be able to market, and sell that.

Another part of the challenge for me is to let go of myself. Let go of that part of me that is terrified of what other people think, and get out of my comfort zone. I've been reading books on spirituality mostly by Michael Singer (The Untethered Soul, Living Untethered, and the Surrender Experiment) and they have been really eye opening, that it is possible to get rid of that negative voice inside our head.

I always loved sharing stuff but always thought: "Who am I to teach/share stuff with people?" so tonight I decided fuck this, and face the music, let's get rid of that ego, there's nothing to prove. I'm really at the beginning of the spiritual journey also even though I've been aware of that stuff for years but I have had moments where they've helped me feel a little bit more peace so this is day 1 out of 495 on this journey for me.

I made the first YT video in 8-9 years literally, because I'm honestly terrified of what others think, especially to share it on Facebook where all my friends/family will see it, and nobody cares about veganism so it will be even weirder for them.

Here is the link if you want to follow the journey: https://youtu.be/i_CW9FLASnQ

[M4F] [35] [Tampa area] Letting go of our preferences

I'm from Quebec, Canada but moved in the US about 9 years ago. I love playing music, hockey, soccer, video games (PC), and coding. I'm a software engineer by trade but I'm also always building something on the side for fun, I really enjoy it. I released my first app on iOS/Android this year which was a goal of mine, it's a game Flight 747 check it out, it's free no ads nothing, made purely for learning/the love of the game. The ultimate goal would be to have a business that I could transition to full-time so I'm always looking at SAAS opportunities.

I'm more of a homebody by nature. I DO NOT want/have kids, and I don't think that's ever going to change. I don't drink or do any drugs/weed. I'm into spirituality. I love reading non-fiction books. I just finished "Wisdom Untethered" by Michael Singer, really good book.

I really like it here in Florida so not planning on moving out, but maybe you're gonna move in with me or change my mind one day ;)

Looking for a life partner and best friend to grow old with. Someone positive who has hobbies/passions that we can both root for each other, learn from each other, and grow together in the good and the ugly.

Been vegan for 12+ years for the animals.

How is the dating/social scene in WPB for adults in their mid 30s?

I've been living in the Tampa area for a few years and I got an uncle living in WPB and every single time that I visit there, I think of actually moving there. I find it really beautiful in the downtown area.

I never really stayed there long so I'm not sure how easy it would be to meet single women/new friends around my age. It seems like there might be a little bit more people in their 50s but I don't have enough experience to really tell.

I'm not into the night life at all but more into physical activities so maybe running clubs and things like that could be a good thing if they exist.

Thoughts?

Pomerzz is back with a new YT vid! First in a few years!

Do you guys remember Pomerzz? He used to stream on Twitch and post YT vids. I saw he just posted a new video. Last one was 2 years ago or so. Looks like he's back on the grind!

He reached Challenger with Shaco a few times in the past I think, maybe he's gonna try to go for it again?

Good to see that he's back!

Just added support for windows to my multi account managing tool

I wanted to be able to easily switch between account when I hit my limit without having to relog, lose my conversations or have to copy skills over multiple account so I made this little cli that I shared here a few months ago to simplify management of all that, and I just added support for Windows today since I'm having to dev on it so I updated the tools and it works well.

I still prefer dev on Mac BUT it makes the experience with cc much better at least for me on Windows. I'm sure there might be plenty of tools like this already, but I'm too excited that it works on both platforms now so had to share again.

Also as silly as it might sound, I'm so happy that it organically got 7 GH stars. It's not much but for me it's huge, I never really share what I make, it's mostly for personal use but I had such a headache with the multi account thing that I thought some people might like it.
