I'm talking subs that aren't expressly conservative, but have a conservative minded people on them.

I'm talking r/ConservativeMemes, r/conservative, etc. Their not bad, they have good politics. They just feel sterile and maybe botted.

Okay, the title might be a bit of an exaggeration, but it's a good song.

Cycle of Songs, Lightning at the Gates, Templars, I Emperor, Tiger Among Dragons, Crossing the Rubicon, the Duelist, they're all bangers.

Sure, it's kinda formulaic, very Sabatony sounding, but that's why I listen to Sabaton is for Sabatony music. If I wanted a different sound, I'd listen to a different band.

I'm sure all the hardcore Priest fans are going to get offended, but I'm not a hardcore Priest fan, and this is a genuine inquiry, I'm not trying to offend people.

I'm a big fan of British Steel, Ram it Down, Painkiller, Defenders of the Faith, and Screaming for Vengeance, but I've hardly heard anything from the earlier albums. I see that they didn't really chart at all and had hardly any hits. Now, I know that some people will say they are the best, because popular = bad.

Idk, what are your thoughts on the pre-British Steel albums?

I just recently heard Nanowar of Steel's "Valhallejuha" for the first time, and while I realize that is a joke song, I think their use of Gospel music mixed with Metal actually works really well, and I was wondering if anyone knows if anymore of that kind of thing exists (preferably from more serious bands)?

My whole my life, I've never been able to come up with something that could potentially shake my faith. Atheist arguments don't faze me, I've seen them all. Their is no hardship that I can think of that would make me doubt God's existence. But, just recently I've had a revelation. Their is something that could potentially make me angry and bitter with God. And it scares me. I've always tried to be a very logical person, but the one part of me that logic can't control, one part of me that is completely controlled by emotion, is my desire for a girlfriend/wife (and not even in a sexual way, just purely romantic). I've tried for a long time, but with no success. Currently, it's painful and depressing, but bearable. I trust that God has a plan for me. But, in ten to fifteen years, I do not think I will feel the same way. I can definitely see myself giving up, despairing, becoming bitter and dejected. I honestly don't know what kind of advice I'm looking for, I'm kinda just venting, I guess, but any advice you have would be appreciated.

This sub is to restrictive. No memes, tier lists, heavy restrictions on discussions and videos, etc.

This would make sense if their was an actual alternative sub like r/Powermetalmemes, so you could have the more formal sub and the more laid-back sub, like how a lot of communities are, but the Power metal community doesn't seem big enough for that.

You want to post Power Metal memes on straight-up Metal subs? Have fun getting shredded by elitists who hate Power Metal.

Their is a lot of Power Metal related content where their is just nowhere suitable to post.

So, we should either loosen up this subs restrictions, or try to build an alternative sub.

After finding Ring of Fire by DragonForce, Heaven is a Place on Earth by Elvenking, and Na Na Kiss Him Goodbye by Axxis (all 3 are bangers btw), it got me thinking, what are some other really good power metal covers of no power metal songs?
