I don’t think we’re gonna see a better sequence than this all year.
Van is here to make the division way more exciting, AND STILL.
Islam Makhachev on why he told Ian Garry to shut up: “Bro honestly, I don’t hear nothing there, it’s no disrespect. It’s okay bro”
I knew my goat isn't disrespectful WE are good people
Ian Garry’s son wanted to meet Islam Makhachev after yesterday’s faceoff. He started crying after Islam walked off immediately and he didn’t get the chance to meet him
Since all we share is insufferable moments of him here's a moment where he seems like a likable person
Those two are ridiculously better than any other commentators rn
I really thought this guy actually knew what he was talking about when it came to the sport, but after saying he thinks his last five opponents are tougher than Islam’s, he might just be dumb
Shavkat went for a takedown in open space twice, and he got both of them.
I’m scared for Islam because of those oblique and calf kicks man
UFC 322 had one of my favorite press conferences. It was the first time the crowd was rooting for Islam, and you could tell he was surprised by it. The crowd would be even crazier at UFC 330.
Does anyone else feel kinda scared when they think about directing something big?
First of all, I’m still new to this. I’ve shot here and there, but I still haven’t made a short film or anything "major"
I see a lot of videos of directors who started small and then, boom, they’re making a whole feature film with a whole crew. Every time I see something like this and imagine myself as the director, it feels kinda...scary?
I think it’s the idea of ME being responsible for almost everything that’s going on. I know I’m jumping way ahead because like I said I haven’t made shit yet, but for some reason i can't stop thinking about it.
Should I Tell My Family I Hate My Degree and Want to Pursue Something Else?
I graduated two months ago with a degree in Computer Engineering. It’s a good field, but I absolutely hate it. I’ve never enjoyed programming or anything related to my degree, and I’ve realized this career just isn’t for me. My family, especially my father, keeps telling me to find a job and reminding me how good my degree is. I know they’re doing it because they care about my future, but I can’t see myself being happy in this field.
I do have a passion for something else, and I genuinely believe I can succeed if I put all my effort into it. But my family doesn’t know any of this, and it’s hard when they keep pressuring me to apply for jobs and take courses related to my degree. I’m worried they won’t accept me spending my time pursuing something I don’t have a degree or experience in, especially since I’d need time to study and build my skills on my own.
I always hear people say, “Don’t tell people your goals,” so I don’t know. Should I tell my brother? I’m genuinely curious to hear what he thinks about what I’m pursuing. I could explain to him that I want to get a part-time job while I work on my passion, since I’m not employed and don’t have the financial stability to spend a long time doing nothing but studying it. At the very least, it might take one person off the list of people pressuring me.
