Ps4 and Ps5 Emulation Question?
After watching a bit of the ps5 emulation video muta made today, I wonder if any emulators use translation layers instead of actual emulation. It is all x86, so would it not be a Lunix Windows Situation instead? Ik Sony uses FreeBSD, but this seems like something that should be more feasible, no?

[Discussion] Are Platinums Even Worth it After the Past Bit?
We all know about how Sony is killing the discs. However, this means that anything I invest towards on the Playstation platform is going to be tied towards an account that will be deleted only after 2 years of inactivity. Because of this, I feel like platinums and trophy hunting are dead now. What is the point of all of this? Before anyone mentions the Buddhist philosophy of everything decaying, I just don't want to waste my time on something that is always at risk of being thrown away.

We need to start a response
Remember when sony tried killing the ps3, but the community got upset enough to force them to keep it? We need to actually cause Sony to panic and lose money. If you have another platform, try buying games on there instead. We need to try getting the Xbox leadership to support discs. We need to do anything legal or moral to force them to stop. It worked for the ps3, we can do it again
