even barks scrooge was willing to give up his money for donald and the kids to be safe

The beagle boys were threatening to turn them in stone if scrooge didn't surrendered, they asked his money and he was actually willing to give it up to the beagle boys , it's in a story published in october 1954 in uncle scrooge n°8 in the us . Since the barks stories didn't had continuity, I wonder if it didn't allowed variation in his scrooge portrayal because here while scrooge go to the island more to exploit its ressources than the save the guy (wich turned out to be a beagle), as soon as donald and the boys are threatened, he's willing to pay to save them.

why would farage do better than labour or the tories?

I gueninely wonder given the guy already lied before (with ukraine per example , he repeat the russian lie of nato provocation, if a politician can repeat debunked stuff like that, I'm going to be worried about how they'll do their other policies or if they'll do it at all), him lying would also make me doubtful of him actually doing what he promess to do , same with him already having a fraud case with the EU (meaning he can be corrupt and there's also the thing with people from reform taking russian bribes).

not unhappy to watch the clone wars show

Even if I watch it after the maul show and already know about anakin fate , it is a good watch so far, the droids are the vehicle of humor and sometimes do show some smart for those in the separatist side, the animation is also fine and fluid, even if it's 2008 3d. I like how palpatine is already a villain but still at this point playing with both side , he sometimes do things for dooku but we see him with the jedi too.

donald wasn't angry at scrooge at the end of the last crash

Compare to the kids, donald didn't actually seemed angry at scrooge at that point , I think both made peace during the 6 months period the season lasted. He also didn't seemed to be angry at scrooge during the shadow war and I reccall he was the first one to want to come back fellowed by the boys. This attitude is pretty different from the one he got in the pilot.

anakin tried to get around the jedi rules in the clone wars?

In the second episode, he's doing what ahsoka suggested to do even if I reccall correctly, the council didn't wanted him and her to go there with them judging it as being reckless, kinda feel like anakin does try to get around the rules already at that point.

when people defend far right media overlord online

I'll always find it weird, especially when people go with "owning the lib" type of rhetoric to defend people like bolloré when bolloré pardonned morandini and engage pro russian guy in his media, he's also corrupt so I don't see how letting him taking over french media is a good idea in the future , if he's given too much, he can turn every french info channel in cnews like far right media. it was also pretty annoying to see people defending elon musk nazi salute online when th eguy support far right parties like the afd.

donald and della were making scrooge better but the spear made him worst and isolate himself

Scrooge does get nostalgic of that period when it was him, donald and della in moonvasion, indicating that even if della was reckless, it clearly was not a bad time in his life and he already showed progress in the first adventure with him not doing it just for business thanks to donald and della , then the spear happened and cancelled all the progress he did up to that point and made him isolate himself (and donald being angry too didn't helped with that), bradford didn't made it better by telling della about the spear, leading her to take off, he made scrooge worst. I don't think scrooge was bad caretaker even if in the passt, he could be more flawed since he didn't leaarned everything yet and I do think he did tried to deal with della recklesness but wouldn't surprise me if della didn't listened to him there and got overconfident, while donald isn't a rebel anymore even if he can be quite stubborn.

applejack and fluttershy design didn't changed that much between the preliminary and the definitive versions

Compared to the other mane 6 who had some pretty big color palette changes, the only really different thing for fluttershy is her being a pegasi and applejack doesn't seem to have been changed that much. I wonder why lauren faust decided to alter the colors so much for the rest of the mane 6 while keeping fluttershy and applejack relatively similar to their preliminary designs.

nothing in the last scene justify a bad future for the cast

Them saying scrooge moto make it pretty clear they'd get better rather than worst and scrooge does still have beakley to keep him in check as a parent (and it seems huey also didn't took scrooge overprotecting webby as just overprecting webby but all of them instead since he tell scrooge to not worry about them, not just webby). The only thing uncertain is if darkwing will finally catch that fenton is gizmoduck but I doubt he will eh

While there could be some conflicts, I don't see anyone regressing and they'd keep doing what they do off screen (adventuring).

webby van der quack name not appearing in fowl database could also count as a hint in a way

Rewatching the finale and her name didn't appeared in fowl files, if webby wasn't a clone, I think fowl would've had it in their database since may and june were in it, even if their files got partly redacted to only keep the main thing.

the chaz short is actually pretty innofensive

While one can dislike it, after actually watching it still feel to me people got way too worked up on it and please, don't insult viv or the voice actor over a 2 minute long short song.

did zira wanted simba to kill or hurt kovu?

The way she's putting kovu foward and what she say make me wonder what she wanted simba to do to kovu here, at that point simba of course saw he's just a frightened little kid, but I wonder what was her intent here.

I can understand simba turning in a overprotective dad with kiara

Since kiara does remind him of himself when he was young, he can think of ways to make her not do the same mistakes he did, to the point he'd turnn overproctive. I do wonder if he didn't at some point also displayed that with kion before he became the leader of the lion guard, especially since kion wasn't as mature.

there are discourses that go too far

While it's entirely fine to have a different interpretation or to not like something other like and vice versa , there's a point where the discourse does make me wonder if I watched the same thing because it is too far from what's shown on screen, some headcanon can also make me react like that because I wonder where they come from but feel like they got no basis (sometimes, people make headcanon out of spite to bash a character or part of the story they dislike even if it might not be where the authors would've took the story, if the media has a obviously happy ending, I'm not going to twist it in a bad one personnaly).

Sometimes, discourses can also show someone double standard depending on wether they like a character or not, per example when the person prop up their favorite by bashing other (or making their relation with the other way worst than it really is, happened a bunch with louie duck from ducktales 17 and now I tend to avoid angst fic because at times, I feel people not only exagerate louie angst, too often della get bashed) or when one is fine with their favorite character making mistakes but not the one they dislike (even if those character can also progress in the story).

I also don't like whenever people spread rumint about a media production, it can be pretty annoying when there's multiple version of a media production history , people sometimes don't even quote their sources when they make the claim (if one think part of a story wasn't planned, I think there need a good source to back the claim, same when quoting author or actor words, it is also important to post a source).

captain lawson fate (spoiler)

Maybe it's me not being pessimistic but I'm unsure if him being in the fog is an indication he could be alive, I reccall he did got hurt and vader still killed rook behind the fog too so it's not a garantee he'll survive, in the last episode, it also felt more like a hero death for me. I do think we get rylee meeting devon again next season tho.

I don't think webby not willingly being at the lost library really mattered

It felt like bradford was more of a bully toward may and june (webby disguised tho it'd not surprise me he bullied them before, he doesn't bother calling them by their actual names), he complain about them not bringing webby willingly but he still end forcing her to get the papyrus so I feel he is hypocritical in his complain there (tho it is part of his personnality to be that). Webby also still ended getting the papyrus after bradford forced her and they still brought the missing mysteries.

so trump lied when he said no new war?

He portrayed himself as the peace guy during his campaign, and also criticized obama over having a war with iran (tho when he does it it's fine), trump and maga also criticize spending money to help ukraine win but spending it against iran is fine somehow , kind of feel like he lied when he said no new war (and did a bunch of contradicting statement but I guess it's fine when trump does it). One cannot claim to want the nobel peace price and then start a new war.

beakley wanted to take down fowl alone so no one would find out about webby

She was hellbent in not telling the truth and even lied to webby about her passt after promissing her she wouldn't , scrooge even tried to have her tell with a soft approach with a tea and to talk to her as a friend using his own experience on not telling one secret, it'd not surprise me if beakley would rather do it alone so no one would find out and tell webby and so she could destroy the evidences related to webby tp avoid her figuring out there is indeed a connection. The problem is with her behavior, she is in a way repeating scrooge mistake in the last crash and handling it in a bad rather than being sincere with webby (+the fact that webby already got hurt by her granny lie once does make the lying about the parent worst in my opinion since beakley know the consequence if webby found out).

scrooge shows he actually learned from his mistake during the finale

he shows he learned from the last crash by trying to push beakley to tell the truth in a good way and by using his own experience since he obviously doesn't want that to open again. It's interesting that here's he's the one actually pushing to get the truth out while beakley isn't (and by doing that, she's breaking the promess she made with webby evne tho she know full well how much being lied to can hurt webby, I think webby would've handled the reveal better if beakley was sincere and didn't tried to cover up and give her fake parents).

shouldn't farage voter care more about the corruption issues within reform?

Beside the russian bribe case, there's also the non declared 5 million donation to farage himself and farage misusing eu fund, shouldn't that be more of an issue to vote for him or like trump, it's fine when reform does it but not when the opponent does type of logic (maga will usually not condemn trump all that much over his own corruption but will gladly talk about hunter biden)?
