I dont know how my night shift brothers/sisters feel but I was fucked on sleep and exercise this summer when kids let out. Had to clock in early and just never adjusted. Finally back to my evening schedule, i feel revitalized like superman after being away from the sun except for me its the moon lol. Even weekends felt terrible since my week felt like hot garbage I just bed rotted. We up now though.
I work as a janitor and caught very a familiar wound
Havent been to the pier there since the pre covid days. I remember there was a couple of novelty shops and such. Are the fish restaurants still there? Last I heard they were doing some remodeling or just tearing the whole thing down.
Realized ive taken my body for granted and I'd like to push it to its potential now (whatever that look like at 30). ive been semi sedentary/ semi fit for most of my life. Never had abs but looked decently in shape and just skated on by with that. Metabolism isnt the same as it was I'm holding more fat now burning it off less than before. just looking for motivation from you guys, Has anyone gotten stronger and faster since your 20s?
My end goal is to be a firefighter paramedic but im already 30 years old and not in the greatest shape but I won't give up. I know i would like to work in the medical field and help people and just trying to cover my "bet" if you will. If I were to go through a nursing program could I also apply as a paramedic/firefighter? Thank you.
I would like to be a "refuse truck operator" eventually and would like to know what jobs to start with before i can do that or who to talk to? Tried applying online but no luck. Thank you.
Vote with your hobby dollars! We dont have to buy into the new edition and that will tell GW we want more of the same from the current ruleset. Is it perfect? No... but do we love it? Yes its the best game GW makes.
I posted a couple days ago I called the city because I nearly hit a pedestrian on Court an Huntington. Well, they put some big ass neon signs in the area and in the crosswalk ahead of it. Would still like a light up crosswalk but its a step in the right direction!
Happened early morning driving on the left lane when dude enters from the right side but since there was a car ahead of me i couldnt see him until i got closer. Felt super bad so I called the city to see if we can get a light up crosswalk or something there.
They said the city has plans to restructure Huntington dr in 2027 but I asked if something could be done to this crosswalk sooner.
Edit: if youre the guy, im super sorry. tried to see if I can get something going though.
Either to run, walk the pups, clear the mind? Etc.
Im an older guy at 30 years old so im trying not fuck up my voice by just winging it watching YouTube videos. Im also in no way trying to make it a profession but singing has always been an area of interest and I would like to learn how. If you know of any in person voice coaches? please drop 'em below thank you!
I want to switch dentists and if possible get some recommendations. I have Delta Dental Premier if that helps, Thank you.
Edit: everyone is so awesome thank you for sharing! Ill look into each of them to find the right fit.
Title is pretty self explanatory and I'm not a picky eater either. I'm born and raised here but I still feel like a tourist in my own city and this summer I would like to explore the restaurants we have to offer and restaurants of other cultures is encouraged. Thank you.
I'm going to miss it in my future codices. Crusade had ttrpg crunch without the same support for GMs that ttrpgs have. I think making a game master guide for crusade would've done it the justice it deserved.
In all these street fights I rarely see punches to balls. Its a very effective counter but in a world where we seemed to have lost all honor, ball shots remain out of the question. So are ball shots ever an option, if so when?
Started noticing small floaters during daylight on walks. These semi opaque squiggles or dots floating and disappearing. Doctors say my retinas are not detached or at risk so no worries there but that I'm just getting older. How do I take care of them better now?
