It's part of opening for my store. Every single item that expires on that day, has to have their date dot swapped out for a newly generated one.

It's a big deal, at my store. You get a lot of shit from management if you miss one. Ingredients only get thrown away, if they "look" gross..

So let's say the expiration date is always two days after the sticker is made. It's June 6th, and the expiration date that was printed shows that the hard-boiled eggs expire on June 6th. Whoever opens would be expected to print out a new date, showing the product now expires on June 8th.

I hate it, and I think it's disgusting- let alone dangerous.

Just curious how common this is.

they aren't campaign signs and we are not in a campaign period yet. Traffic permitting I stop my car whenever I see one at an intersection and grab them and yeet them straight into a dumpster.

My building is round 2, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is our worst inventory to date.

I'm pretty sure one of my local ones is as its the only location that is true 24/7, and the only one that puts out purple pens to grab 😅

I've always been pretty shy and introverted but generally kept myself busy and content, but I think it has finally hit me in the last few years about how lonely I truly am.

Sure, I have coworkers I can make small talk with, and close family (and a once in a blue moon hangout with some old friends) , but not much else.

I used to be close to my roommate (as a long term friend), but he seemed to rapidly up and ditch me after making 'friends' after spending weekends getting shitfaced at the local bar.

i've tried the bar thing, even going alone a few times (and a few times while the roommate there, but I got the feeling that I wasnt particularly wanted). I go occasionally to another local bar but everyone just seems to be in their own social groups.

I travel, go to concerts, movies, etc. all alone, and have never been able to connect with people in these situations. Its embarassing when coworkers say 'who are you going with', and I simply answer, by myself.

My hobbies are eccentric and I have a few online people I chat with, but thats about it. Outside of work, I probably spend more time talking to my cat than an actual human.

I tried a social anxiety meetup group, but I felt out of place there as well as others seemed so much worse off than me (my generalized anxiety has lifted over the years).

Hell, I tried chatting on here with someone for a few weeks who messaged me from one of my other posts on here and I thought we had a good conversation going, but at the end it seemed to be one-sided.

I dont know what is wrong with me. I'm not a movie star but far from what I would consider 'ugly'.I go to the gym a few days a week and am in overall good shape .I have a mediocre job but it pays more than enough to get by, and I generally think I am a nice person who tries to help others before myself (I was very concerned with my former friend/roommates behavior at one point, but now I don't give a fuck).

I'm really at my wits end.

tried setting another station in a neighboring state (within a 40 mile radius) and says im locked to thr wrong region...ugh.

I fucking hate holidays. Everyone always seems to have plans except me (yeah, I know thats not entirely true 😆) Roomate is going on a trip, sister and her partner are visiting friends. The only people I can sort of say are friends are going to visiit their own family. Ive already seen my parents twice this week due to a death in the extended fam, so I'm burnt out on hanging with them, etc. Its going to be too hot to really go too far. Maybe i'll wander to the neighborhood bar and make an attempt to socialize, if they are even open. 😕

I'm not talking about those saying 'Oh I am traveling to Europe' (even though that is super broad unless one is traveling to multiple countries).

I mean those that say 'Oh they have that in Europe' or 'durr why dont they have air conditioning in Europe'.

Europe is made up of 44 independent countries with all kinds of different people, histories, culture, dialect, laws, climate, and so on. (And only 27 fall under the European Union) (Yes, you could say the same in some ways about the United States, but at least here there are many things that are universal thoughout the country).

Why not refer to the specific country when trying to discuss something?
