I'm a woman with a rather masculine face. I have been trying to learn makeup recently and every video I come across talks about focusing on enhancing your features. I can't figure out what makeup I should do for my features. I have wide high set cheekbones which I don't like and honestly don't want to enhance more. Can somebody please help me? I want to look hyper feminine and give the illusion of a slimmer face.

Comments under the post talking about a honour killing.

The victim was an 18 years old girl who was 4 months pregnant when her father and a relative took her near the river and dragged her down to drown and kill her. This happened 3 days back, her body hasn't been recovered yet.

I accidentally died while gooning and reincarnated as my baby mama's backshot air.

I'm gonna say it again, I accidentally died while gooning and reincarnated as my baby mama's backshot air : A Hood Isekai Love Story. What do y'all think? I think a concept like that speaks to the times. A pernicious and precarious times that we are living in. Hm. Yes. Yes, Indeed. I accidentally died while gooning and reincarnated as my baby mama's backshot air : A hood Isekai Love Story. Now, there are different angles I could take from this particular story and all these different angles are currently brewing at the back of my mind where I am going through some sort of cognitive overload but we're gonna get it together, we're gonna get it together because the masses need hood Isekai. YOU ALL need it.

The romanticization of sex makes me cringe.

I often hear people say, "Sex is a beautiful act that brings partners closer together." I genuinely can't relate to this at all. All I see are two naked bodies exchanging sweat and bodily fluids, and I honestly find it gross rather than romantic. What also makes it difficult for me is that the same physical act can be one of the worst forms of violence when it's used to hurt and abuse someone. Well maybe consent changes the morality, but that doesn't make sex itself anywhere as inherently "beautiful." I also don't understand why being anti-sex is often treated as a problem, while kinks involving pain, humiliation, or domination are increasingly considered something that everyone should "respect." I think it's perfectly valid to question whether every sexual preference deserves normalization. My biggest concern is how much sex and pornography have been normalized. Constant exposure through media has blurred the line between healthy intimacy and increasingly extreme sexual expectations, which can pressure people into doing things they're uncomfortable with just to satisfy a partner. How is this "love" ? People must be in some mass psychosis.

Profanity is wrong but sending threats to a minor isn't?

The whole Ruchika Singh situation is deeply disturbing. I don't support her use of abusive language, and I do think it was morally wrong. But was it illegal? Absolutely not. Profanity, by itself, is not a crime in India, so there was nothing unlawful about what she did. What I find shocking is that, out of all the protesters, the entire right wing on X seemed to single her out. Some users even offered bounties for information about her. One prominent account even falsely claimed that she was a 25-year-old woman when she was actually a 15-year-old minor. Why did they feel the need to "teach her a lesson"? Would the reaction have been the same if it had been a man using the same language against the Prime Minister? She was doxxed, her phone number and address were leaked, she received rape threats, and was ultimately pressured into recording an apology. Where do we draw the line between legitimate criticism and mob harassment? Is this really about profanity, when members of the same political camp have themselves been seen using abusive language against others? Or has moral policing become a convenient cover for intimidation and silencing?

Reviewing every chemical slop I've used on my face and body.

19 years old with oily skin. No acne concern.

  1. BeBodywise 10% AHA Body Scrub - I have only used it for one week, I have used it twice till now. It isn't a very strong exfoliating scrub I'd say, it's very gentle and leaves the skin very soft everytime you use it. It feels like somewhere between a body wash and a scrub. The exfoliating is alright with this one. It claims to have 10% lactic acid which could improve texture and remove tan. I will give an update after using it for 3 months. The smell is very fruity, I could handle it well but my brother who opened the cap to smell the scrub got a migraine from it.

Final Verdict - 3/5

  1. CeraVe Foaming Cleanser : I have nothing bad to say about this product, it does exactly what it says it does. Holy Grail for Oily Skin. It's also fragrance free, so that's another W.

Final Verdict - 5/5. WOULD REPURCHASE EVERYTIME.

  1. Be Minimalist's 05% Niacinamide Serum : Reduced my redness a lot, kinda helped with oil control. Faded some of my old acne marks but not that big of a difference. I bought this thinking it could help in fading dark spots but it didn't do much.. it did fix the other concerns I wasn't even aware of though so I can't complain much.

Final Verdict - 3.8/5. WOULD REPURCHASE.

4. Be Minimalist's Salicylic Acid + LHA 2% Cleanser : homegirl saved my life. Reduced my acne a lottt. The oil production on my T - zones reduced a lot. My skin texture also feels so much smoother cause of it. Nothing bad to say. I also never went through the purging process for some reason, guess I was just lucky. I use it thrice a week on my pm routine, been using it since 3 months now.

Final Verdict - 5/5. WOULD REPURCHASE EVERYTIME.

5. Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Mosturizer : Incredibly light weight. This is even lighter than simple's light mosturizer. Perfect for extremely oily skin folks. The texture is like that of a milky toner but it feels deeply moisturizing. It also has spf 15 in it.

Final Verdict - 4.5/5. WOULD REPURCHASE AGAIN.

6. Neutrogena UltraSheer SPF 50+ PA++++ Dry Touch Sunscreen : The protection with this sunscreen is the best. The only drawbacks are that it stings the eyes, it leaves a white cast which takes around 15-20 mins to settle down so you need to wait before going out.

Final Verdict - 3.5/5. WOULD BE REPURCHASING IT UNTIL I FIND AN AFFORDABLE ONE WITH GOOD PROTECTION.

7. Be Minimalist's SPF 30 Lip Balm : So thick and hydrating. Honestly feels more like a lip mask. Make my lips look so plumpy. It's fragrance free. Lips got one shade lighter after using.

Final Verdict - 4.5/5. WOULD REPURCHASE AGAIN.

8. The Ordinary's 7% Glycolic Acid Toner : I have only used this on my body and never on my face (too scared to damage my skin barrier). It reduced my underarm pigmentation and it's almost non existing now. Didn't work on my inner thighs. Reduced the KP bump on my arms but not the ones on my legs. Strange product kinda.

Final Verdict - 4/5. WOULD ONLY REPURCHASE IF THE KP ON MY ARMS COME BACK AFTER I STOP USING IT.

9. Vaseline's Gluta Hya Serum In Lotion : Its a serum so it acts like one too. It's a hg during summers especially for someone like me who sweats like a pig. It dries down very quickly, wouldn’t be ideal for someone with extremely dry skin or during winters though. Now, there was this time when I ran out of my face mosturizer and tira had delayed my order (r/fucktira)..during that time, I used this on my face for like 5 days and my face was glowing. I stopped though cause my mosturizer came in. I've seen a lot of south east asian girls say that they use it as a mosturizer on tiktok and I can clearly understand why. I wouldn't recommend using though since it has fragrance and could irritate your skin.

Final Verdict - 4.5/5. WOULD REPURCHASE AGAIN.

10. Streax Vitariche Gloss Hair Serum : I LOVE THE SMELL. Makes my hair silky smooth and glossy. Nothing bad to say about this. Very affordable and does it's job perfectly.

Final Verdict - 5/5. WOULD REPURCHASE AGAIN.

Kinda curious, what is the difference between subliminals and manifestation?

So my friend sent me a video titled "extreme glow up subliminal" and I discovered this whole rabbithole of the subliminal genre. Tbh I can't see it being any different than manifestation so perhaps they are just synonyms of one another? I am kinda curious so I have the following questions :

  1. What's the difference between subliminals and manifestation?

  2. Does this...actual work...? If so, pls share your story.

I hate it when genuine struggle with womanhood or systemic misogyny is dismissed by suggesting to transition.

Wanting an easier life or fairer treatment shouldn't be equated with gender dysphoria. Trans individuals have their own experiences and hurdles in society, transitioning doesn't automatically means that you will be granted with a life which is completely free of hardships. Women have the right to express themselves without having their womanhood misunderstood or erased.

Which one would be a better toner for skinprep before makeup?

If neither, suggest some under 500.

I have oily skin but no acne problem.

Ugly people shouldn't reproduce.

I sometimes see couples around me who are ugly asf and the worse part is that they got kids too. How could one be so selfish to willingly bring someone in this world to suffer from the consequences of being ugly? Whenever I see a family of ugly people where the kid turned out ugly too, I can't help but feel upset about the kid, people are ruthless to ugly people especially when the kid goes to school, bullying would be inevitable for him. He will mentally and physically suffer from the effect forever. Apart from that, he will also learn from a very early age that he is inferior because of something he can't change. How could one imagine their own child going through that? Having kids in this scenario is so selfish. If ugly folks still decide they wanna have kids, they should strictly limit it to adoption.

Where to start with makeup?

I am not very good with makeup and I am trying to learn. I only started experimenting with mascara and lip gloss last year. All my makeup is only limited to using them. I recently bought an eyeliner but haven't learned how to apply it correctly. I see a lot of beautiful girls on pinterest with perfect makeup on and I want to look like them too. Again, I have very limited knowledge about makeup and want to learn. I have some queries :

  1. Where do y'all learn ur makeup from?

  1. What are some other products necessary to buy? Also pls tell what each product is used for.

  1. Tips on how to apply eyeliner without creating a mess.

Can someone pls help me out🙏

Heterosexual Sex, Women and My experiences growing up in a strict conservative place.

I am not very sure if this is the right sub to post this on.

When I was 11, there was a neighbour next door who beat his 21 years old daughter up after he found out that she had sex with her boyfriend. The dude who was her ex told everyone around that he fucked her and the words reached her father's ears. I remember hearing her screams, he pulled her by her hair and dragged her down from the 2nd floor to their yard and beat her up badly with bamboo sticks, even kicked her on the face calling her a whore. I remember asking my mother why he did so and she told me "she did a bad thing, don't become like her". I was scared as fuck after watching her get beaten up. I avoided even talking to boys/men around me while growing up. I was scared that I would get beaten up the same way. I started seeing sex as something humiliating/offensive to women, that it made them impure and lowered their worth as a person.

I have also been very active online since my teens, I have explored about these topics and asexuality in general which is think I might be or maybe it's just a response to that trauma.

One thing I have noticed is that people (both men and women) speak very ill of women who have sex or participate in the hookup culture. Now, what I always felt strange in this was the way men are never targeted or shamed for sleeping around but infact praised and think of as "high value" (a term used by red pillers). Infact I have even seen men degrade the women they have slept with because they see her as someone less.

Why is that so? Is it something biological? Or just plain hypocrisy?

Now talking about heterosexual sex or the most common form of it, PIV. I think men fucking women is just plain disrespect to the women. The stabbing motion they perform with their penis inside is so objectively humiliating. In this action, the man is humiliating the woman and she is humiliated. I would never let anyone do that to me. I hate the fact that this is referred to as "love making". I don't think a man can EVER respect and love someone he fucks.

I think it's even in biology, a woman's brain releases bonding hormones after sex which cause deep emotional attachment while for men their mind gets cleared (famously referred to as post nut clarity)and they are disgusted with you because they only see you as a hole they put their penis inside of. Women who think of this as love are coping hard. I think a lot of women don't even enjoy/need the sex, they just do it for male approval/attention because engaging in this activity is the ultimate proof of their sex appeal or the closest feeling of love that they get from a man. Some even do things they don't enjoy because they want to keep the guy happy so that he will not get bored and fuck other women. Majority of men see women as fuck toys and they are not respectable..they can be replaced after use.

I don't think women have any benefit from sex either because most sex starts when a man gets hard and ends when he releases. For a woman to genuinely enjoy sex she must have a really low self esteem and need therapy.

Sorry if this seemed like a long rant, I am not a misogynist/misandrist..you're welcomed to prove me wrong or point out flaws in my opinions and I will listen to them with an open mind.

What's with males dm'ing every girl they can find with wrong intentions ?

A guy dm'ed me to talk about his favourite music, i accepted cause I like discovering new music and talking about music in general, he was respectful at first but then the questions got personal, he asked me how old I was, where did I live and other yada yada. I thought he was just curious and he shared his age and state with me so i did the same. Then he asked me If I was single and I could sense where this was going so i replied with "why does it matter?" and he said "So, i can flirt with you🙂‍↕️". Mind you, this guy was 36, probably married and I told him that I was 19. I blocked him immediately after that message. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. Most guys from whom I receive a dm end up this way, the guys who are genuinely good people and aren't horny bastards preying on girls online is extremely rare. Why is that so?

There are girls wayy younger than me who are on the internet and I can't help but hope that they don't fall under one of their traps. These men are evil and the internet is a great way for them to ruin young lives for their own selfish desires. I feel immense sadness when I remember that things like these actually do happen to young girls and often times the blame is put on them and not the nasty grown ass men grooming and manipulating them.

Edit : Creep Creep go away, spike my cortisol another day.
