Did they change the Whopper Jr too?

Looking at stopping at BK soon to try the new whopper, but I'm wondering, did they change the whopper Jr too?

People who slam their mugs or tumblers down

More of a vent, but it really irks me when people slam their mugs or tumblers down

It's not so much the actual sound of the noise itself, more of the jarring abruptness of it that makes me jump. You can't hear it coming, as it's mostly just silence while they're drinking....then BANG

I have a particular coworker who's mug must be made of lead, because despite setting it down ON A NAPKIN, onto his laminate desk, it makes the loudest metallic CLANG possible.

I tried to replicate it with my metal bottom 20 ounce yeti, it's completely full of water, dropping it two inches onto a napkin, and while it makes a loud and obnoxious noise, it still cannot physically replicate the 'metallic bang' that their mug makes, from over 6 feet away

Memorial Day at the zoo. Did I make a mistake?

My wife and I will be traveling to Omaha the Sunday of Memorial Day, and staying a few days.

We had planned to do the zoo on Monday and Tuesday m, but after seeing some less than stellar things about the crowds, I'm now getting quite worried we'll be out of luck. Totally my mistake, I had booked the hotel without really thinking that much into it, and now I really feel like an idiot.

We'll be there Monday through Wednesday, so we'd have Tuesday open to do the zoo, but we had hopefully planned to do two half days there, instead of one full, but if that's what we need to do to avoid feeling overwhelmed by the crowd, then that's my backup plan.

Can anyone put my mind at ease about the crowds, or confirm if we should scrap the plan for Monday and go on Tuesday instead?

EDIT: thanks everyone for the quick replies!!! My plan is to try the zoo early in the morning on Monday, but I have a backup plan in case it's too much. Definitely going to go back on Tuesday, but how long we spend we'll depend on how Monday goes.

Easily removable ways to secure Kato unitrack?

I'm working on re-designing a layout and it's time to secure the track back down.

Previously I used hot glue...which is great for making sure track stays put on a module or portable layout (which this kind of is), but a real nightmare if you need to make any changes. I spent most of last night, and the previous, with a razor scraper and putty knife trying to tear up the track and remove the glue left behind. I was successful, but it was an entire two night process.

Ideally I'm looking for something secure, but also able to be removed without too much hassle. In the past I've used gray or blue tack (like that gummy stuff), and that worked well. It was much easier to remove hot glue, that's for sure.

Another idea is either double stick tape or those double sided mounting strips

Coworkers who ambush before you can sit down or log in

Anyone else have coworkers who will ambush you, or other coworkers, with questions before you can sit down or log into your computer?

Happened to me yesterday, came back from lunch, hadn't even put my bag down before one pops up and starts asking questions

Same guy also interrupted another coworkers lunch break to talk about something work related. Like the dude had his monitors off, back turned, earbuds in, very clearly eating...and this dude just pops up and bangs on his chair to get his attention...

There's other coworkers who will just try to stop you, or others, as you're walking past to go to lunch or the bathroom...

Cream of the crop is the one last week that literally followed another coworker, as they were leaving for the day, asking this person questions AFTER they had clocked out and were heading to the door to leave. LIKE REALLY?!?!

Looking for a recommendation on operating accessories, as I'd like to turn my oval of track into something more interactive.

Ideally looking for things that are currently available, although used would be fine I supposed

I have a certain coworker who, while eating yogurt or anything that requires a spoon, will repeatedly DROP their spoon onto their desk between bites. At the point, it's not just noise, it's completely unnecessary noise!

For example, they will take a spoonful, put it into their mouth (and bite their spoon too, but that's another issue) then just drop their spoon onto their desk.

Not place it on a napkin, not set it down, I mean like DROP it, so it bounces and clangs loudly against their desk.

Then 2 seconds later, they pick it back up, eat another spoonful, DROP their spoon again, pick it up, drop...rinse and repeat.

Like, it's just completely unnecessary to do that...can't you place it on your desk, or on the napkin you have RIGHT THERE? Perhaps a better question, why can't you just hold onto it? They literally pick it back up 2 seconds later to take another spoonful, like do you need to fully release it between each bite?

I guess it's the context, and the manner that bothers me, like you could easily be more quiet and considerate. You don't need to be totally silent, but when it sounds like a bell ringing every time you take a spoonful, it's just over the top...

On top of all that, It's not a 4 course meal, it's a yogurt cup, they don't last that long, spoons aren't that heavy that you need a break, you're not trying to empty an Olympic size swimming pool, it's a few ounces of yogurt!!!
