Pausing, crashing, android auto not working

(edit: it stopped working again 😩) Android auto solution! Install this older gmscore version "app.revanced.android.g ms-250932004-signed.apk" https://github.com/ReVanced/GmsCore/releases/download/v0.3.13.2.250932/app.revanced.android.gms-250932004-signed.apk

Yt músic solution! (This still works) Use recommended version 8.40.54 and then go to settings > revanced > miscellaneous > spoof video streams > default client , set to "android reel" not the auth one.

Fixed both my issues

Original: Need help! Can't get the yt músic to work. I tried repatching to get it to cease pausing. Also it now doesn't work on android auto. Am I installing wrong gms.core and the músic app? What versions of both should I use? Thanks.

Did anyone else get this Messenger restriction out of nowhere?? 'Confirm your identity to send messages'

'Confirm your identity to send messages. Certain actions have been restricted due to unusual activity.'

I’ve never sent Facebook any personal info (no ID upload, no real name verification, nothing) and still got hit with this. Multiple people I know had the exact same experience - it lifted exactly after 28 days with no action from us.

Comment if this happened to you too! Curious how widespread the 28-day auto-lift is.!

Warning: The $129 onn. Large Party Speaker (Gen 2) has a latent battery defect, and Walmart is using "no warranty" to illegally deny returns

Hey everyone, making this post to raise awareness about a widespread hardware defect with Walmart's house brand onn. Large Party Speaker (Gen 2) and how they are trying to dodge state consumer laws to avoid issuing refunds.

The Defect: I bought this speaker back on January 27th for $129. The box explicitly advertises up to 12 hours of playtime on battery. Because I kept it plugged into the wall outlet for everyday use, a major latent battery defect was completely hidden from me. I rarely used it—only powered it on a few different times.

Recently, I unplugged it to actually use it as a portable speaker. Even without playing any audio or sound, the fully "charged" speaker completely dies and powers down after just 30 to 40 minutes of simply being turned on.

After looking into it on tech forums like iFixit, this is a massive, known flaw with the internal Battery Management System (BMS) on these onn. speakers that essentially fries or locks out the battery cells.

The Deceptive Practice: When I went to Walmart to get a replacement or refund, they completely shut me down. They claimed that because it was past their arbitrary 90-day store return window, and because onn. products are sold with "no manufacturer warranty," they have zero legal obligation to help me. To make matters worse, they never disclosed at the point of sale that this $129 item carried absolutely no warranty.

Know Your Rights (Especially in NH):If you are in a state with strong consumer laws like New Hampshire, store policies do not override state law.

Implied Warranty of Merchantability (NH RSA 382-A:2-314): All goods sold by a merchant must be fit for their ordinary purpose. A $129 portable speaker with a advertised 12-hour battery that dies in 30 minutes while completely idle is legally "unmerchantable."

Illegal Disclaimer of Warranties (NH RSA 382-A:2-316): Stores cannot hiddenly strip away your implied warranty rights. Hiding behind a "no warranty" label that wasn't even disclosed at checkout to avoid replacing a defective product is a deceptive trade practice.

I have officially filed a formal complaint with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Bureau to compel them to issue a refund.

If you bought one of these, test your battery now before you get stuck with a plugged-in-only paperweight. Don't let corporate customer service tell you that a store policy trumps your state's legal rights

2024 Corolla Hybrid owners does your steering change behavior based on column tilt position? This blew my mind 🤯

Update to my previous posts about my steering issue 🚨

Just discovered something that I think is a major clue and wanted to get other owners' input.

When I tilt my steering column all the way down, the wheel stays slightly but equally tilted left or right — symmetric in both directions. (what I would say is normal!)

But when I tilt it up, it's completely different. Minor adjustments from center want to stay either centered or angled right — but never to the left at all. It's like left simply doesn't exist as a resting position.

Same extension length both times, just different height. The ONLY thing changing is the tilt angle of the column.

This matters because it suggests the issue is mechanical and inside the column itself — not road conditions, not driver error, not alignment. The road doesn't change based on where I position my steering wheel.

I've been fighting a warranty dispute with Toyota over asymmetric steering return for months. Five dealerships have dismissed it. Toyota corporate's official internal explanation was road crown. But road crown doesn't change when you adjust your column height.

Has anyone else ever noticed their steering behaving differently based on column tilt position? Please comment — especially 2024 Corolla Hybrid owners. 👇

Do you get kicked off?

Who on social security has been kicked off as an adult (me mid 30s) after visiting the social security doctor who was on it since childhood? My PTSD, autism and whatever else won't let me stop worrying about it and that it's a setup. I see a psychologist about once a year. I been on it almost 20 years an don't work. Part of my problem is I forget to say certain things at key times. Afraid that's gonna screw things up. Any advice. If you ask my parents (who see me alot) then nothing has improved if anything things are worse now for me than even when I was a kid. Really only thing is I can drive a car although I've had problems like getting arrested once for leaving scene of an accident cuz I panicked so I guess even though I can drive I have problems coming from it periodically. Hoping they don't use that against me. I think I did see the social security doctor like 8 years ago but I forget what happened. I struggle with daily stuff and my family helps remind me to do stuff and helps me with stuff constantly basically. Anyway what are the chances I get kicked off? Has something changed in the government? Honestly without my family help even still getting social security id probably be dead

Facebook Messenger “Confirm your identity to send messages” -Mine disappeared after about 28 days without verifying

I got this message on Messenger:

“Confirm your identity to send messages. Certain actions have been restricted due to unusual activity.”

I couldn’t send messages and thought my account was permanently flagged or hacked. I searched everywhere and most posts said to upload ID/selfie verification.

For anyone stressed about this: in my case, I did nothing. I never verified my identity, never uploaded ID, never contacted support, and after about 28 days the restriction disappeared on its own.

A few things from my experience:

I could still log into Facebook normally

The restriction only affected Messenger sending

I avoided spammy activity while waiting

I didn’t keep retrying verification

One day it just started working again

So if you’re seeing this screen, there’s at least a chance it’s a temporary automated restriction and not a permanent ban.

Quick poll – does your Corolla's steering wheel return to center after turns?

Curious what other Corolla owners experience — after taking a turn and letting go of the wheel, does your steering naturally find its way back to center on its own?

Asking for both directions — turning left and turning right. Does it return the same way from both sides?

Not looking for debate, just genuine experiences from other owners. Appreciate any responses!

Hey all, looking for some advice on how to handle this.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Woodstock, va and had a pretty bad experience. We booked 3 rooms total.

🦠 Room 124: found what appeared to be black mold inside the AC unit. I ended up feeling physically sick and couldn’t breathe through my nose the entire night.

🪳 We reported it and got moved to room 125… which had cockroaches.

🚪 When we brought everything to management/owner’s attention, instead of resolving it, we were told to leave the property.

On top of that, I later found out there was a recent health inspection noting issues like musty/mold-like odors, high humidity, moisture damage, and dirty AC units with debris/insects—so it doesn’t seem like this was a one-off issue.

The hotel only refunded 2 of the 3 rooms, even though the entire stay was affected and we were asked to leave.

My questions:

💸 Should I be pushing for a full refund for all 3 rooms?

🏢 Is it better to go through corporate (IHG) vs. disputing with my credit card? We used Priceline..

📄 Does having documented inspection issues help my case?

📢 Any tips on how to escalate this effectively?

Appreciate any guidance—this is the first time I’ve dealt with something like this.
