I applied to my local big city police station went through the entire process all the way through backgrounds they said that I passed and would forward my application to the chief of police where he would decide yes or no along with everyone else that had made it that far, I got a call back saying that I was not accepted for the sponsorship position. I asked if there’s anything in particular and they said employment history ( I’m 21 and the longest I’ve worked at a job is my current job, two years due to layoffs and have no experience in law-enforcement, other than a summer gig as a lifeguard which only kind of counts)

Another smaller department is offering a sponsorship position right now. I was wondering if someone could give me advice on the best course of action, should I apply to this other department? Should I wait a year? Should I volunteer at a police department on the weekends while working at my same job? Should I go to college? Etc

Hey guys, I recently bought and am still waiting on a custom slide from impact cnc machine, I was wondering if anybody used them and was able to use the same kydex holster of if they had to go leather/custom kydex
