Current routine involves heavy grinding sparks, playing with sharp metal, semi frequent third-degree burns (next to my thumb, right hand, mostly healed) and obsessive fingernail biting
My hands generally hurt all the time and would like some advice
I also just bought a ring sight so ignore the pos that’s on it rn
FN PS90
5.7mm
608
Edit- bought used private sale $350 allegedly only 50 rounds through it second ever gun
First impressions are awesome, really cool gun. I just got approved for SBR so I’m waiting on the barrel now
I put a bullet in the chamber racked it again notice it felt weird like there wasn’t much resistance
. Tried to rack it again and noticed that nothing moved inside the magazine, removed the magazine round fell out with the bullet removed from the casing. Gunpowder everywhere was able to replicate it a few times and noticed that it only had issues ejecting/feeding if I didn’t slam the bolt carrier home, the bullet wasn’t completely inside the barrel. It was sticking out just a little bit I’ve never had any issues with it and I took it apart to clean it for the first time and I’m worried that I might’ve put something together wrong. I’ve never owned any sort of rifle or carbon before so it might just be user error.
Edit – I should’ve done more research instead of going straight to Reddit. I was riding the bolt carrier which was causing it to fail to go into full battery and then by pulling back again caused a double feed
Biodegradable clays
Taking my GFs younger brothers (16&17) to shoot some clays and get ice cream. We’ve been together 3 1/2 years and I try to take her brothers out once a month or so to hang out, her dad comes along every now and then too
I can foresee the comments so I’ll say upfront the clays are actually clay and water soluble, this is legal, yes it’s public land, yes we can shoot here yes we picked up after ourselves including spent shells and casings, yes I go over gun safety with both of them each time, and lastly we are shooting birdshot which is not dangerous on the way down
Scenario: leaving your rural base camp to hike by foot (road) an hour to an urban shopping center/mall for supplies, no vehicles, zombies are classic walking dead zombies. This takes place in a post collapse society where civilizations are scarce and people are distrusting/violent
Choices: one long gun one pistol

Taurus for stopping power/reliability might be better for people
Or CZ for capacity
Edit-I just went off front page of google for effective/lethal range, I’d have a hell of a time hitting something head sized at 100 yards with a slug on irons
I thought weekends were supposed to be big money
The price is outrageous because of tariffs, I’ll take used
You can get way below IRS rate if you do your own maintenance, take care of your car, and find the right parts/fluids. I have expensive ass tires lol
Failure to eject, ruptured casings.
Very dangerous, had issues with the first barrel he sent me he replaced it same issues talk to a certified gunsmith said that the barrel chamber was more than likely outside of tolerance which was causing my feeding issues and all of my ruptured casings. I made a post detailing my experience a few weeks ago and I’ve made multiple updates along the way, but I wanted to make another one because this is actually pretty serious.
Last night I decided to just drop a live round in the barrel (removed from gun) and try to wiggle it and it moved enough to clink pretty loudly against the inside of the chamber, my OEM barrel has almost no movement

Honestly, doesn’t seem like a horrible deal for an extra 50 round mag and a optic
Edit: this is including a optic and an extra 50 round mag
Edit: i’m not coping anymore. I low-key overpaid
Does anybody have any clue as to when some of the major retailers will be restocking? It’s my understanding that FN restocks in batches
Edit: the gun
Obviously never accepted. I’m taking anyways, but this the third time in the last seven days and I’ve gotten flashed twice all by woman in their mid 20s
