So I’m f16 and starting a new school, I want to make friends simple

please don’t tell me that BS about “go up to someone tell them nice shoes!“ or “ask them to hang out!“

Im pretty basic ngl and been told I’m attractive a lot (dunno if that matters at all probably not)

I’ve not moved schools in years and kinda forgot how to make friends since ive just been with the ones from elementary school where making friends is easier than anything.

so I need to know how to make friends in high school, going into sophomore year so I assume it’s a bit harder since most friend groups are solidified since freshman year or middle school,

also I dont have social media yet (in the process of convincing my mom to let me get insta) so asking for ig can’t help,

my parents think it’s so easy to make friends so I figured I’d ask on here where I assume yall get it.

So for context I’m F16, I’ve got my NCCER core certification, OSHA 10 and I attend a highschool that specializes in construction, I chose the carpentry course

I’m relatively new in construction I mean I did the first year basic course, (hand tools, power tools, safety ppe, hazards, parts of a house etc) intro to construction.

I just want any tips or advise to make things easier or basic things I should know, we will be building houses, sheds, the display sets that you see in like IKEA or something basically on our own with just a site manager?

Or like any advice you wish you knew before going into the construction/carpentry industry,?

I know this is a very vague request but I just want to be prepared as I can be, because I know it’s a very dangerous work and just want professional opinions

Also any budget working boot suggestions (highly underestimated the price of steel toed boots)

And no this isn’t “DIY” it’s prepping for actual careers in construction and trade schools.

So I’m F16, and I have a good/decent setup, (good laptop, mic, interface, headset, DAW) I’ve been pretty good at music production and I’m getting way better at it. I’ve been doing it for a few years and I’ve also been singing/doing vocals/songwriting and stuff like that I’m pretty good at it

Ive definitely thought about pursing it as a career but I’m not sure it’s actually realistic, I’m working hard on this

ive told my family and they are disappointed in me they haven’t said it but I can tell. I only have 1 family member who’s actually supportive

everyone else was upset I wasn’t going to be an astrophysicist like I had wanted but musics always been at the top of my mind for at least a decade. I know I’m young but I figured if I start now I at least have a small chance?

So I am fully aware of his allegations and everything he’s done and in no way shape or form do I think this is okay/ acceptable

but I’m separating the art from the artist because I love his music and think he is an amazing artist/songwriter but I do not necessarily think he is a good person.

i love his music and am continuing to listen to it but I’ve read so many posts about people blocking him and not listening to his music altogether

so am I wrong for this?

context. I’m 16f im not allowed any social media, all I have is Reddit and twitch and my mom doesn’t even know about them.

im going into sophomore year of high school and it’s so hard to make friends without it, I feel so left out but my mom doesn’t get that everytime I bring it up she shuts it down without even a thought.

her main argument is of creeps, which I understand but I told her I’d have a private account, she didn’t listen.

another argument is she doesn’t want me to kms and doesn’t seem relevant but okay,

im so sick of being left out of things and not making friends because I don’t have any socials

in today’s world no one just asks for your number anymore it’s they ask for insta, then they see your posts and see if yall are similar, then comment and dm you and you guys talk more in class then become friends.

for me it’s “can i get your insta?” “I don’t have one” “oh.” then nothing further.

she doesn’t understand it’s not how it was 20 years ago.

i have no friends. no one texting me. no summer plans. I’m alone. legit no one would call me a friend

and it’s not like I can make any friends in extracurriculars because I’m not allowed to do any because she doesn’t want to drive and pick me up and it messes with picking my sister up and stuff

im just so sick of this, I literally made her a list of reasons why I want it she didn’t even look at it. all I want is instagram. like her number one used app.

all she talks about is how i need to show responsibility

so I know analogue dreams has been delayed so many times? and from what I know EMN and ILM came out on their release dates so genuinely what are the chances he actually releases this at all

so at the end of the year this guy (L) him 17M me 18F started hanging with my friend group, I liked him then I got his number from my friend and acted like he gave it to me out of the blue (I asked him for it) then I texted him and he really didn’t seem like he liked me but he was like “wanna fake date to make them mad/confused” and I agreed and he said “we definitely don’t like each other this is platonic, I don’t want you to think otherwise“

then we started making out, holding hands, hugging, kissing and walking together when our freinds weren’t even around. I stopped liking him shortly after because every hour he was asking “wanna meet to make out?” And I personally don’t like doing that all that much so after the first day of us fake dating I didn’t like him any more.
then the next day we did it all over again then on Wednesday I didn’t show Up for school, because I had to do something for a college interview. but Tuesday night he told me he loved me and liked me, I told him I didn’t like him any because of how weird and pushy he was about this whole thing. Then he started being all upset, crying and saying “I’m so horrible, I F*** Up every relationship“

and then on Wednesday I show up for 10 minutes to retake a test, and I see him and he wants to talk so I say okay then we go to our usual spot and then we talk and he says “can I get a hug” so I go into hug him then he’s like gonna kiss me so I like pull back a lil bit and he says “oh not that?” Then I leave

and on Thursday we continue us fake dating then he keeps asking when we will for real date and I told him I don’t know, I don’t like dating over the summer and we haven’t even been friends or anything we started making out 7 days into knowing each other.

Summer comes and we text and FaceTime but he’s always so weird when texting me “wyd”, “tanning” “can I see“ and it’s just alot of him begging for pics of me, and begging To come to my house and it genuinely gives me the ”ick” a lot of my guy friends were calling me stupid because I believed him when he said he didn’t like Me. anyways he kept asking to date and I kept telling him stop we need to be friends first and I don’t like dating over the summer.

Then time goes by a few weeks then I hit him up after not talking for a week “wyd?” He responds “Hanging with my homegirl she’s really chill like really chill”. mind you this man has no female friends. So idk if he was trying to make me jealous or something, another week goes by and I text him “hey I wanna start talking more” he just says “okay even though I’m such a terrible person“ I just block him I’m so done with his shi, it’s been 1 week of him being blocked
