What if there was a ship that could grab various cargo without the need of a handheld or turret tractor beam? This is Yhulcotan. A ship I designed and modeled in Blender that can move cargo around with it's legs. It's even rougher than drake lol.

This was my biggest project yet, took me a bit more than 5 months to model, rig, UV unwrap, bake and finally publish. Thought SC community could enjoy the idea behind it.

Made in Blender 5.0

Creating decals, labels and stickers is the most fun of every project. Especially if you need to come up with random companies.

I usually sketch some rough shapes on paper first, then create them in Photoshop and finally project them to UVs in blender. It's really fun.

I also share my daily progress of this project in my socials if you are curious: https://www.instagram.com/baran_hasancebi

Question about packed textures and usage of VRAM.

I accidentally realized that while my project and all of it's textures are packed to the blend file, the Vram usage during rendering is around 9GB. But while unpacked, its only 3GB. What is the logic behind this?

my Baja Rally inspired retro-fied Honda CRF300L build, I think it's finally done

Latest addition was this custom 3D printed flyscreen (I think thats what it's called?) to go along with the baja headlights
