So for someone who doesnt really play GTA online but knows a lot of people who do, what's going to happen to the "old" gta online? People have spend tens of thousands of dollars on it, people have been playing that game online for what like a decade? How long do you think they'll plan on supporting it?

Anyone elses Walmarts doing this? As a father rrally enjoying this as I get a chance to actually get them for my girl now if I show up at a reasonable time. Some are limiting the purchase which is nice also 🙂

So Ive met with some women on Tinder, had a few dates, usually after the second date intimacy ensues and then after that we usually end up going separate ways because of whatever reason, a lot of it being my schedule though, im a full time single dad which I guess is "sexy" until it comes time to me actually being a dad? Like if I cant hang out or decline smoking weed (I dont live in a legal state) due to my job or risking trouble with the law (I did smoke when I was a teenager til like 20 a LOT) I dont smoke now which seems to be a deal breaker for some but idk, been there done that and not worth risking me and my childs living situation

It just feels like a lot of people in my age bracket dont want to let go of the party days? And hell some of them are also parents themselves so what gives? Recently just had a woman get mad at me for not being able to go smoke with her tonight? (She asked at 8pm and its Wednesday night???)

I stopped dating altogether for like 3 years and just got back into it like a year and a half ago and idk Im just done it seems a lot easier to just be me and my daughter, meeting anyone responsible on the apps(thats into me) just seems like a lost cause. I feel like because of my appearance (tats gauges piercings etc) people assume Im less responsible and still down to party but Im not..

So my daughter asked me for a laptop to play Roblox as a bunch of her friends have moved from tablets to computers to play, they all have gaming pcs and I genuinely don't have the money to shell out on a gaming PC right now...are there any laptops between 200-400$ that can run roblox well with no lagging issues or anything any of you could recommend me? Roblox is the only game she plays

Shes right on the cusp of that tween age..already has her on iPhone (I monitor it) and rides her bike with her school friends and is really thriving socially this year

Due to things in the past with her mother, I am a single full time father, we have always done everything together ever since she has become mine full time which has been several years now, lots of hiking, shopping, playing games, i always make sure to be present in her life since I was homeschooled and basically kept in my room 24/7

Today after coming home from her friends house (shes been spending a lot of time with school friends something ive been encouraging) she mentioned that we dont need to do everything together anymore because "its weird and her other friends parents dont"

Which yeah, I guess shes getting that age, I cant help but feel proud that shes thriving socially like Ive tried so hard to encourage, but do feel a bit sad because she doesnt want to even go grocery shopping or anything with me any more or hike or etc

In a way its a bit of a relief as I have time to get back to my music which has been on hold for some time..but I do fear us growing apart?

So id like to ask some of the parents here, how can I still remain close to my daughter without being overboard or anything? Id like us to still spend *some* time together but I realize shes getting to that age, just want to be a good dad without being too much. Any advice?

So Ive tried playing a few games nothing even demanding on the thing, and everything is stuttering and lagging so bad that anything I try is pretty much unplayable, Katamari Damacy reroll, Sonic Adventure DX, neither of these being demanding games are unplayable on the device, what do I do? Are the games just poorly optimized or what?
