Did OpenSUSE switch servers? All of a sudden I'm finally getting faster download speeds on a par with other distros like Fedora and CachyOS. For example, OpenSUSE released a new image today on 10/10 and I'm getting a normal 14mbps or faster download speed.

I'm using the latest stable version of Edge. I noticed the Adguard extension suddenly disappeared. It's not listed in my extensions anymore. Adguard has a manifest v3 extension, but the extension doesn't appear in Microsoft's store anymore. I have no trouble using the Adguard extension in Google Chrome. Has Microsoft banned all adblockers from Edge?

I have an Asus Vivobook Lunar Lake laptop. I just booted up the OpenSUSE Tumbleweed 9/4/2026 offline installer and no network adapters are listed at the Network Settings. It's completely blank. This is an OpenSUSE specific bug. Have not had this problem on Ubuntu, Fedora or CachyOS. Anyone know how to fix this? I'd like to get the latest updates during install.

Wow, after several years of trying on two different laptops, finally got hardware video acceleration to work in Chrome. My first laptop was a System76 Intel Skylake laptop. Never got it to work on that one. My current laptop is an Asus Vivobook Lunar Lake laptop. I'm currently using Fedora 44 and Chrome 154.

Go to "chrome://flags"

Change "Wayland session management" from Default to Enabled.

Just got the stable September update on my Pixel 11 Pro. After that and a Google Maps app update I now have the 3D Immersive View that I had on my Pixel 9 Pro.

Flew out of Ontario, California today. It was crazy. There was one TSA agent handling both Precheck and standard passengers. The Precheck line took significantly longer. The TSA agents are out of their minds! Precheck passengers are supposed to get first class service at TSA regardless of where they're sitting on the plane.

I have an Asus Vivobook 16 (Lunar Lake) laptop. I installed Ubuntu 26.04, but the Gnome native 80% charge limit option is missing. If I install CachyOS with Gnome 50, it shows up right away out of the box, even on the live USB environment. What is Ubuntu doing differently?

I just paired my Pixel 9 Pro phone with Android 17 to my Windows 11 laptop. There are three text messages on my phone but one of them refuses to show. Does Windows Phone Link hide SMS with derogatory content like a wine glass emoji?

I am flying to Ontario, California with my family in first class one week from today. I went on the website to preorder food. One of their items, the pork sandwich shows unavailable. After I selected their black bean burger for one person in my group that was also no longer available. What the hell is going on? First time flying in first class. Is this normal for items to be out of stock this fast?

Bought one of these several years ago and ran Dirac. Didn't notice any difference in sound. Apparently due to a bug Dirac calibrations weren't getting stored correctly. Installed a firmware update awhile back that fixed this. Finally got around to running Dirac again (I have kids) and wow! Massive improvement in sound quality. I only have a 4.0 surround system with line arrays and in-wall rear surrounds but it sounds like I have a center channel. Dialog has never been this clear.

Why can't receiver manufacturers get this right in the first place?

Just signed up for the top end Visible+ Pro on my Pixel 9 Pro phone. When visiting fast.com, my download speeds are being throttled to 1.6mbps. When I use the speedtest.net app, I'm getting download speeds of around 600mbps. This plan is supposed to include 4K streaming video, isn't it?

I'm in the beta channel for Windows 11. How does the cloud recovery in the latest experimental build work compared to OEM cloud recovery from Dell and Asus? When it goes stable, will Microsoft's version download the latest stable Windows 11 build like the Media Creation Tool does? Will it import drivers from the host like NTLite does?

Just checked and I have immersive view here in Portland Oregon! Not talking about the rised buildings. The trees that are on the sides of the road are being shown in 3D on the map.

I have a Pixel 9 Pro phone. So I entered my DNS-over-TLS/QUIC endpoint address into the private DNS section in my phone's settings "[code].dns.nextdns.io", however no ads were blocked until I went into my NextDNS portal and linked my IP address. I thought this was only necessary for unsecured DNS. Why do I still have to link my IP address?

Someone called adult protective services on a family member that has dementia. There's nobody in my family that is able to take on the role of caregiver or legal guardian. This family member lives alone. Apparently APS doesn't work with the Department of Aging and Disability (part of DHS) to get people help who may be in danger. APS basically said if nobody else helps then this family member will just rot away.

I have an Asus Vivobook Flip 16 (Lunar Lake) laptop. I just installed the 308 firmware update that was released in May 2026. I tried to do a cloud recovery from the firmware settings screen. My laptop downloaded whatever files it needs and said the download was successful. I pressed Enter and my screen went blank with the keyboard backlight on steady. It's been 10 minutes and I still haven't gotten the Asus boot logo. If I powercycle my laptop it goes back to the firmware settings screen. Why isn't cloud recovery working?

I have an Asus Vivobook 16 Flip (Lunar Lake) laptop. I've noticed some bizarre issues after doing a clean install of Windows 11 25H2 with the new installer. Once i get to the desktop, overall performance (responsiveness) is very sluggish. Installing apps from the Microsoft Store get stuck at downloading, even after waiting a couple of hours. Same thing for Windows Updates. They get stuck at 1 or 2 percent. I don't have any issues when using the old installer and Windows 11 is much more responsive. What is the new installer doing differently?
