I’m in the market for a new pair of headphones and have been watching tons of reviews of the B&W Px8 S2, AirPods Max 2, and Sony 1000X The Collexion. I’m pretty deep into the Apple ecosystem and already have a pair of AirPods Pro 3.

I’m curious if anyone here who primarily uses an iPhone or other Apple devices chose the Sony Collexion over the AirPods Max 2. If so, do you feel like you’re missing out on much in terms of integration, Apple Music, Dolby Atmos, or overall convenience?

I absolutely love the design of The Collexion compared to the Max 2, so I’m leaning toward the Sony, but I’d love to hear from people who actually use them with Apple devices. Would you make the same choice again?

Isn’t it amazing that, at 67, M scores her 65Th UK Top 10 single, further extending her record as the female artist with the most top 10 hits in UK chart history? Talk about incredible longevity. 👑

I recently bought the Love Sensation single with Kylie, and now it’s showing up strangely in my library. The single appears with the Confessions II cover (first release) but it’s listed under the Madonna & Kylie single artwork. When I actually play the Afterhours Radio Edit tho it shows the correct single cover (picture 2).

Is this just a glitch?

And yeah, it just doesn't hit the same. I've always felt the need to play it from track 1 all the way through to 16. And I know that's how it was meant to be experienced. It flows perfectly.

I can't even imagine how many hours M and Stuart spent sequencing everything so it would flow perfectly as the continuous mix. It still kinda bugs me that Love Sensation never got a proper intro/outro transition like the rest of the album.

I genuinely think it's one of her finest and most cohesive records.

Wait, we have to rate the music? Well, suppose that wasn't half bad, either. The 2000 dance-pop hit 'Music' was Madonna's song of choice -- tune, to be fair -- while the infamous 'Disco Inferno' played in the background. Apparently she calls it 'Music Inferno.' Not many complaints here.

As they came onto the pitch, Ronaldo was beaming. 'Seven Nation Army' by the White Stripes was playing. Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel was pulling the strings. Animal, of The Muppets fame, was on drums.

A fever dream, but one we thoroughly enjoyed.
