My card slot may be failing. I have a lexar high endurance and card in there right now but have been getting read write errors on the P1s.

The card has maybe been used for 800 hours of print time, about half with video. I have the same card in my wyze cams and they write to the card way more than the P1s.

I'm looking are starting with a 3018 given that I'm new to the hobby.

I want to possibly machine and engrave soft metal, like aluminum and brass for now, carve wood, and make PCBs.

I'm not quite sure where to start of if this is even the correct subreddit.

I've looked on Amazon and see a lot of different 3018s, mostly around the same price ($250-300cad) but they all fall with a 3-4 star review rating.

Is there somewhere else I should be looking?

What is a good guide or subreddit for this?

I really don't want to spend more than $300 tax in. Preferably $250. Are my expectations out of line? Should I be going with something else?

I am somewhat technical and can build kits or from parts and can Solder. I'm currently working on converting my Ender 3v3se to a 5 axis printer.

I keep getting a call every two weeks from someone different at Telus (verified). I keep telling them to stop calling until November unless they want to pay out 5 contracts with cell phones from another provider.

I ask them to put a note on my file to stop calling till November but no dice. Every two weeks.

I disconnected the modem a while ago and I'm not sure why I would have disconnected the power adapter but I have several power adapters that look like they fit.

Does anyone or can anyone post a picture of the power adapter? Specifically the label. I have no idea what brand it is or the power output.

I need to return this hub asap.

Currently on Telus and will be changing to Shaw in a few days. I use a few MOCA adapters connected to my dream machine pro.

Can I still use the MOCA adapters with cable internet?

I just happened to find one on the refurbished store and pulled the trigger.

Would going to an M5 24GB model make that much of a difference?

Not sure if I should return it, keep playing with it and trade it in or sell it later when the M5 comes out.

I can move the tool head/z rail all the way to the top using the belt and it will move when I try to get it to home but it fails every time.

This started after I updated the firmware. I have since downgraded it but it's still doing it. I've tried factory resetting it and recalibrating but it didn't resolve it.

Has anyone seen this? Does anyone know of a fix?

I'm not using the PTFE tubes but I am feeding the filament through the guides. Could that be the reason? I haven't printed the fan like spool holders.

It's an Iphone chip. Coming from the PC world, I would probably liken this to a Chromebook?
