I even remember reading this part of fanfic over at archiveofourown. I can't remember who wrote it because I just copied and paste the story over to Word two years instead of saving the web page.
“.. Yeah, sorry. It’s just been so long since I’ve last seen you guys! We were still in UA together, but we haven’t really been in contact since… BUT I get it, I know being a Pro Hero takes up a lot of your time, and-“
“Sorry, who are you again?” Jiro smiled slightly, a hand resting on her hip.
“… Deku? I’m Izuku Midoriya?”
Suddenly, Uraraka’s face seemed to glow as her eyes widened. She put both hands on the counter, brown gaze piercing into Izuku’s skin. “Oh my god, you’re that super fan who sends me emails every year on my birthday, Christmas, and Easter! You know, you really make my day with those!”
Izuku was beginning to wonder if this was a joke. Surely after 10 years, they would still remember his face, at least. Was it April 1st? Izuku wished he was allowed his phone so he could at least quickly check.
“Hey, I get those too! Thanks man, ‘ppreciate it.” Denki chimed in, giving him a smile and a wink.
“… Cool, so can we order our food now? I got some work to get back to. Glad we met a Pro Hero superfan though…” Jiro said.
You know....we've had way too many fanarts and fanfics of Deku being miserable. I think it's time we should have some fanfics of Deku finally reaching is breaking point and becomes a villain after being alone and depressed for so long and finding out his friends had completely forgotten about him during the eight year timeskip.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I could've sworn someone on this subreddit posted an idea of Deku regaining One For All through a burst of pent up rage and hatred during the timeskip after learning his friends forgotten about him. Someone please tell if I'm wrong.
But it would be nice just to read Deku regaining One For All and just immediately lost his sanity, going full on Homelander and hunting his former friends one by one. Or just have Class 1-A in a small get-together at a restaurant and suddenly getting attacked and killed by a psychotic rage induced Deku. And we obviously know they can't beat him. They basically just accidentally created a powerful villain with no one to stop him.
Look, we had enough Deku slander over the years. Don't you think it's time to have him fight back? Don't even get me started on those NTR garbage of Uraraka cucking Deku with Iida, Bakugou, or even worse, Mineta. Or that God awful NTR doujin of Class 1-A starting a certain club behind Deku's back. Ugh.
We can have Deku being mocked in memes, fanarts and fanfics during the timeskip but not Class 1-A?
And it could've taken them atleast a few days, weeks, or months instead of eight years. They could even ask Momo to use her quirk make the materials.
Am I really the only one who just wants Peter to stand up for himself against the heroes? Hell, when I read the Superior Spider-Man issue where Otto viciously beaten Screwball and Jester, I began to imagine Peter doing the same to everyone else after reaching his breaking point.
Everybody has a breaking point. Peter Parker is NO exception.
I've been looking up posts here on reddit about who would be a perfect candidate to wield the Omnitrix besides Ben Tennyson and then I start to wonder what if someone like Peter Parker discovered the Omnitrix instead of being bitten by the radioactive spider?
Do you think he would be a great user or a terrible one for the Omnitrix? Give me your reason why.
Damn, now I wish someone would make a story of a Spider-Man/Ben 10 crossover.
