Green card Holder And National Guard.

LPR( Green Card Holder) thinking of joining National Guard.

So, I'm an LPR thinking of joining the National Guard. The reason is because I'm a fresh graduate from community college and don't know exactly what to do next, so I think it would be good to serve the country and make my time useful. The education benefits and help with student loans are also a big plus.

My other question is about my travel history. I have a pretty bad travel history as an LPR, including being outside the U.S. for longer than one year, but I was allowed back into the country by CBP. My travel history ended about 2 years ago, and since then I have been permanently living in the U.S.

Could this previous travel history cause problems if I try to naturalize through military service while serving in the National Guard?

No criminal record + plus I am a Electrical Engineering major going into my Junior Year.

Also, how long before your green card expires can you still enlist in the National Guard?

Thanks so much.

Help me decide

Both looks good. Hear me out on Mazda.

I checked the Mazda. The wheel balance was a bit funky and the bearing made sound while turning 360 degrees.

The guy bought it a year ago and now is selling it. I thought it was a bit sketchy so I have put it on hold.

The Avalon I still haven't checked it out but from the pics it looks good.

Avalon the guy can go 11.5k the most.

The Mazda guy can go 10k down the most.

Mazda 3. Is 10k worth it.

Has 37k miles on it. First owner vehicle. Looks pretty good.

I have tried negotiating up to 8.5 or 9k but he is just so stubborn and won't take anything less than 10k.

Trying to buy a first car as I'm in college..

It has a lien on it.

Has 103k miles.

The seats are torn out.

Yeah that's it what I can find from the pics so far.

I dropped the last Acura after all of you said that it was a scam. Now what do you all think about this one.

It has 150k miles on it. Is it a good car if I talk him down to 7k usd cash.

u/WonderfulFlower4807 — 20 days ago

help me decide this car......

So, I have posted earlier as well about the Yaris and the Avalon but I went out and checked out the Avalon and hear me out what i noticed.

1- was a rental car for the first 40k miles.

2- the hood holders hydraulic does not work.

3- the battery is gonna die in 4 months.

4- the back seats are scratched badly and the seatbelt is like dipped in beef broth.

5- the A/C blower is not that powerful.

6- has a lien on it.

So, thats all I can think of right now. Also he is not going down then 13k usd and It has 120k miles on it.

Stuck in a weird situation.

I'm a student looking for a first car after saving for 15 months now. I have these two cars One is Toyoya yaris ( for 9k USD)( negotiated)the other is Toyota Avalon ( 13k USD )( negotiated )

Toyota Yaris has 90k miles.

Toyota Avalon has 120k miles.

Both are clean title and good Carfax.

Help me make a better decision as which can be better. I can easily afford yaris but Avalon can be a bit harder but manageable.

Im very much confused.

Yaris is at a Private seller.

Avalon is at a dealer.

I'm seriously going for this one.Acura ILX 2016 with 123k miles.

That's the car, the inside is a bit messy.

The seller says the miles is 111k miles but on the Carfax it's 123k miles.

He says he doesn't have the title he is selling it for a family member and the notarization can be done at a bank.

I want your all suggestions as this is my 3rd post and have dropped the idea of previous Acuras I was looking at.

EDIT: Forgot to tell the price. The guy said he can do "9k" for it.

Rebuilt Title. Is it worth it.

1.5L hybrid, great gas saver 55mpg city/ 49mpg highway.

61k miles on it.

Runs and drives great, no issues

Pet free, smoke free

Lane keep assist, blind spot, smart cruise control and etc

Kbb value and vin on the last picture

Rebuilt Oklahoma title due to minor damage

Damage was at the hood and front bumper.

Posting again as I found more.

I can't decide. What are things I should look for in these cars when I go and check them out?

My budget is 10k but I can jump a little bit like a couple of thousands.

The first two cars are both 100k+ miles like around 125-130kmiles.

u/WonderfulFlower4807 — 25 days ago

Is it a fair deal?

I'm a student looking for a first car. It has a clean title and 117k miles on it. I have a 10k budget and is looking for a good reliable car.

Is it good?

136k miles. Clean title.

I'm a student looking for a car and found this on marketplace.

is it a fair price?

Single owner and no accidents.

111k miles on it.

I can pay cash 10k but this car is almost 16k total. I think I would have to do financing then.

gonna be my first car what do you suggest?

Used Jetta

I'm a student with a 10k budget. Want to know if Jetta is a good option to buy in that budget. Like I have saved 14grand but would like to spend 10 grand.

It will be my first car and I don't wanna buy a Corolla and stuff. I'm not a fan of Camry and Corolla. They are very basic. I like other Toyota and Honda but those are expensive.

What do you think of this.

Don't know where to buy. Marketplace is such a scam place to be in. And dealerships are so expensive.
