Yall, I don't think it's supposed to look like this.
No idea what the stains are from, it's straight out of the box
Pics after first proper rain in weeks, feels like the 33°C avg. already finished off most new growth tho
Is it ready to cut or should I give it more time?
Yes I know about the dry tips and thrip damage... unfortunately\
Based on other's data with this strain it should need two more weeks, but to me it looks pretty ready if not late
Ngl I thought it was going to die after loosing over half of it's roots, but she is already compensating
What to do with lower flowers?
Should you harvest lower buds at the same time as the top growth, cut the top and give the bottom more time, or just cut the top and not bother with the rest? I dont plan on harvesting yet, the estimate based on others with this strain comes to almost end of this month This was my first plant and turned out pretty asymmetric due to my lack of research early on, I know, but the lower growth looks usable.
Just sharing this herbarium letter set I got from my grandma
Almost feel bad using it
Desperate need to get rid of thrips, how likely is it to affect my babies?
Got thrips again, this time I really want to get rid of them permanently, so even though I have been avoiding chemical sprays for so long it probably won't work without them. How likely is it to affect my stick insects few meters away from infected plants? (Big heavy terrarium) Does anyone have experience with this?
Serious or not?
I knew it had some spots for few weeks, but always wrote it off as moisture damage, but it's also on newer leaves. My other plant doesn't have this problem, could it be due to the fact it's (this strain) meant to be outside? I had the same spots on mint plant few years prior, throwing it outside fixed it, but I don't really want to plant it outside after it's been spoiled inside.
How do you discern male from female nymphs of Ramulus nematodes?
Too much?
So far it has always adapted fast and nice, but I'm worrying this might be overkill, especially when I want to switch her to flower already (or at least within the next two weeks) to limit the overall growth.
Also, do yall get rid off new stems on lower nodes?
At what point should I switch to ripening fertilizer?
Two weeks into flowering (frutopia), I use coco coir and the fertilizer set I got has a separate ripening bottle, when should I switch to it?
Cutting top vs bottom leaves
I always hear about getting rid of lower third of leaves and lot of growth in the center of the plant (stems and leaves without proper light source which hinder the air circulation), but what about those big fan leaves at top? Are they also good to get rid off? Or are they still bringing in more than their shadows worsens?
Tip for artists in this hobby, putting your dolls up on artfight gathers interest
Both of the attacks were within 24h of posting her, I have characters that are on their 3rd year without any attacks, yet somehow this one stole the show and has most attacks this year out of all my characters.
Looks my girlie isn't girlie-ing
I was damn sure that my previous leafy male matured too soon, and died before the females last molt, but here we are. I'm happy tho, I love their wings.
If it wasn't for the smell, I think they would be peak houseplants
And maybe for how fast they grow, she had third of her leaves removed and still is a beast.
