Finally finished my own indie game - sharing some of my work and open to freelance opportunities

Hi everyone! I'm happy to announce that I finally completed my own indie game, Soulcery: Deck of Shadows.

I'm a Unity developer with 9 years of experience. I mainly work on polished prototypes, MVPs, and small-scope games, helping turn ideas into juicy, playable builds quickly.

I build games with modular, maintainable & scalable architecture, with a strong focus on responsive & impactful game feel.

I've worked on 10+ multiplayer projects, including real-time PvP and co-op games, and 50+ commercial and independent projects, ranging from quick prototypes to production-ready games.

The video is a quick showcase of some of my work.

If you need someone to turn a game idea into a polished playable prototype, build an MVP, or help with a smaller Unity project, I'm currently taking on freelance work at competitive rates.

Feel free to DM me if you have something in mind!

A Quick Gameplay Showcase from My Spell-Slinging Action Roguelite

I'm working on a spell-based hack-and-slash action roguelite called Soulcery: Deck of Shadows.

Absorb your enemies and turn their abilities into spell cards.

Draw cards to switch spells, build your own combos, and chain every spell together to destroy everything in your path.

The game features 4 unique spell-switching mechanics, 100 spell cards, over 100 passive effects, a card enchantment system, and a Soul Core system.

These systems allow the same spell to work completely differently from one run to another.

Let me know what you think! Here's the Steam page:

Finally reached 1,600wl after one year since announcement

Hi everyone,

I'm a solo developer working on my first indie game, Soulcery: Deck of Shadows.

It's a fast-paced action roguelike inspired by Wizard of Legend, where you absorb enemy abilities as cards and chain together over 100 skills with no cooldowns.

I announced the game about a year ago, and it recently reached around 1,600 wishlists.

I'm happy about it, even though it feels like a pretty slow journey compared to many other indie games I've seen.

I'm making a Wizard of Legend-like action roguelite where all 100 skills have no cooldown

Hi everyone,

I'm a solo indie dev working on my first indie game, Soulcery: Deck of Shadows.

The idea is simple: you defeat enemies, absorb their abilities into cards, build your deck, and use those cards as active skills to slash through enemies.

The main twist is that every skill has no cooldown. Instead, each card has limited uses, so combat is more about chaining skills, managing your cards, and constantly adapting your build during a run.

Each card has a clear and direct effect - no overly complex keywords or forced archetypes. I want the fun to come from experimenting with different skill combinations and finding combos that feel broken in a good way.

I made a new trailer for my hack-and-slash action roguelike. What do you think?

Hi everyone,

I'm a solo indie developer working on Soulcery: Deck of Shadows, a hack-and-slash action roguelite with deckbuilding elements.

In the game, you steal enemy abilities to shape your battle deck and unleash relentless, zero-cooldown combos. During each run, you discover new skills, equip them in battle, and create different combo builds.

I recently made a new trailer and would love to hear your honest feedback.

Thanks!

After a massive redesign, would anyone be interested in testing my hack-and-slash action roguelite? Looking for 10–15 players

Hi everyone,

I'm a solo indie developer working on Soulcery: Deck of Shadows, a hack-and-slash action roguelite with deckbuilding elements.

In the game, you steal enemy abilities to shape your battle deck and unleash relentless, zero-cooldown combos. During each run, you discover new skills, equip them in battle, and create different ability combinations.

After a massive redesign and rework, the game is now in a much better state, and I’m looking for around 10–15 players to test it and give honest feedback.

If you're interested, please leave a comment or send me a DM, I'll send you a key.

Thanks!
