Feedback/Advice would be appreciated

Don´t really know how to make these guys more interesting. This is the reason why they don't look lore-accurate. Some ideas for that would be nice too.

The thing I struggle the most with is to create the base color. Just black doesn't look good and after following some youtube tutorials utilizing dry-brush, my model looked like it came out of a washing machine. Don't know how to change that. I had to go over the entire armor with a wash (Black Legion I think) to save it

Need some help with supports and how to remove them

The supports are very hard to remove without breaking the model. A lot of the time the supports just completly „hug“ the model, like the dagger, which was basically in a bunker of the stuff. Also the cloaks also had the supports inside the model, I couldn’t get to some of them without damaging something, advice would be appreciated

Am I just really spoiled or is the Paystar really bad compared to the Ank?

Recently got back into the game and bought the Ank as a second truck, because I transformed my Fleetstar into a mobile repair station. I am now in Smithville, done with a lot of contracts and a have a decent amount of money (Hummer H2, 2 Fleetstars, Ank Civilian, White Western Star) but the Ank just plows trough everything like it is nothing. If I have enough fuel around there is no reason to use the other trucks, exept when I am to tired to try and steer with a trailer. Thoughts?

What softwares do I need for editing my models (Bambu Printer)?

New to printing and the best I was able to do, was changing the thickness of each layer and printing a wizard frog. But I heard from a lot of people that one needs to cut and edit their stls to make them look good. Help would be appreciated

Internet but Wifi does not work properly

Since a few days, my Wifi just stopped working. It connects at random for a few minutes, but always disconnects after. Using a Lan-cabel works strangely, the internet is there, only the Wifi blinks. I tried to restard the Router how I usually do, wihich normally fixes the problem, but it doesn’t work. Any help would be appreciated

Guide for first time printing?

My Bambu p2s is calibrating right now and I want to print something, just anything. I want to learn how it works before printing what I actually want (Tabletop minis). A Step-by-Step guide and some things to watch out for would be nice. Also a few recommendations where to get stls from (I know neoteric miniatures and all of those special sites, but those are for later). Some examples of things I want to print later on are in the images above, some advice on that would help me really much

Also if someone knows of a Tempestus Aquilon/Scion stl, that would be cool too, thanks!

Should I change the Plot?

My party successfully killed the Goblins that they wanted to follow them, because they where stealing their stuff (that was the way I could get rid of them, without my players being sad).

To make the last part (the sewers, check the other posts) more fun than just goblins, I threw in some Slimes, Crocodiles and a Cult summoning demons. Now my party completely forgot about the Orks and Goblins, the Cult is much more interesting to them. Should I scrap the Oak mech and remaining Goblins and swap it out for the Cultists?

Explanation could be, that the Cult grew too strong and all of the Greenskins where killed, hen they tried to plant the bombs.

How do I do this?

The last session (read my last post for more info) went pretty well, thanks to your ideas, I kept the players at a prison for questioning, when a wounded Wyvern fell from the sky, attacking them and the city guards. They managed to calm down the dragon and went on with their mission to find the goblin camp.

They managed to successfully take the scattered goblins out and got to the throne room. On they way in they drank out a pool worth of Soup, taking a lot of poison damage in the process and finding a Headband of Intellect.
Now here the Fighter had a really cool idea: he decided to challenge the Ork Boss to a duel.

He got **very** lucky and managed to take him down with only 10 hp remaining. The problem is that they agreed that the remaining goblins would now help the party. I don’t want to say nope, that seems like a dick move. I also now that just giving them a free army (6 Goblins, 2 Goblin Mages and a Bugbear) will cause a lot of trouble.

Another thing is that I decided to build the cult into the sewers, which they will visit next session.

The party is going to fight some monsters on the way in and will have to neutralise this cult, to get to the bombs. I had the idea that the cultist open up a portal trough which demons come trough, until the players break it (three demons would be the plan + two cultists, thee rest will be busy with the ritual)

What would be fun and dynamic ways to defuse the ritual and the bombs that the goblins planted?

The last problem I have is that the players are only lvl 4 (next session 5) and they already have a lot of good magic items (bracers of defense/cloaks of protection, +1 Weapons, etc.) I worry that they will be too powerful for
my
monsters. How do fix this problem, after giving them the prices for the magic items they can buy already?

Also, how can I give you guys the statblocks for my monsters?

Need help redisigning my next session (Players did something dumb as usual)

In my short campaign the players have to stop some Goblins from using Runepowderbombs to blow up the city via destroying its sewer.

Until now they found out about the plan and where stocking up to find the Goblin Camp (the plan was that they find the camp and the attack plan, but the main force already is in the city when they are done and the party has to defuse the bombs and fight a big ork mech at the end)

Now, while the party made plans on how to spend their gold effectively, the Rogue decided to try and steal some Googles of Night. Trough a perception check he managed to find out that the podest on which said items where laying, are pressure plates, that can trigger an Alarm (kinda like the House of Hope in BG3). The Rouge tried to swap the item for an equaly heavy rock, but he rolled a 9.

I said that he is able to swap the items, but isn‘t able to do it fast enough, so the Alarm is triggered.

He runs off, trying to escape into the sewers, while the city guard follows them. He fails his check (he wnated to throw a dagger, slide over the manhole cover and removing it at the same time) and kinda just sits there. I gave him the options to

a: enter the sewers

b: follow the busy main street

c: go into the dark side streets

d: try to climb onto the roofs of nearby buildings

In the meanwhile the party informed the rest of the city guards of the thief, to not get into any trouble, only the Paladin decides to help the Rogue (he fails too).

At this point the Rogue is slowly being encircled, but he decides to fight anyways and asks me if he can drink like 20 Potions at once. I said that he could try, but we would roll on the Wild Magic Table, due to the many different potions mixing themselves.

He transformed into a Flower.

This was a good point to end the session (they already had other stuff to do before this desaster)
but now I need a solution to it.

Should I prep a breakout of some kind?

The party wanted to go anyways into the goblin camp, how would I handle these wishes?

The reputation is probably not the best after this and they would have gotten a big payout afterwards (if the session would have gone normaly), should they still get it?

I only have the next session to fit the goblin camp (now a prison breakout) into the campaign. I thought about scrapping the camp and just let the players stay in town. An alternate quest I had as backup would be a small cult which they could destroy. Now, how do give them the information on where the bombs are going to be located in the sewers? I mentioned that some goblins ran off (there was an attack on the city) into them. Could I use them?

How should I punish the Rogue for his crimes? Does the Guild still accept him? Will the merchants still trade with him? Does he get anymore payouts from the City?

First time DM here, need some help

I will be running a campaign next week and am a little bit nervous. I. total there are six players, which already know the rules, but never played DnD. Now the campaign I made is ready, but something like music, battlemaps and stuff is still missing. The bigges problem is that I don’t know how to pace the story and how I should tell it. Some general tipps would really help me and my nerves

Builds for mechs in mercs

I am fighting against the clans right now and I don’t think I can just use whatever anymore. But O don’t really know what is good for the AI to pilot, so a few suggestions would be nice.

A guide for the schools would be great too, thanks!
