How to entry in CS? (former VALORANT player?

I used to play VALORANT, was Immortal every season I played. I have 750 hours on CS but that’s spread over 12 years, so it’s essentially nothing.

I’ve been playing for a couple weeks now consistently and I’m 20k premier but my biggest issue is entrying/playing aggressively.

Obviously there are no abilities in CS, and you’re expected to use utility in its place, but it feels impossible sometimes to push a site with the utility given. I don’t want to blame my teammates, and I’m not going to act like I know all the lineups I need to know either, but I feel like 20k premier is pretty average players (maybe even below average) and a lot of us don’t know utility that well in general.

I’m generally just curious of a few things:

  1. Rushing in CS feels impossible, is it a viable option?
  2. Should I slow down in general? Without all the utility it feels like getting kills before taking space is a requirement
  3. Are flash lineups good to know or frowned upon? Or maybe it’s just scenario based. I feel like flashes are the most important thing to know for entries but taking time to line up a flash isn’t ideal
  4. Any other tips for switching? I know the basics and have generally just been focused on counterstrafing/spraying and have made good progress. I’m just struggling with playing aggressively and getting shot in the back or side.

I DO NOT SIT ON MY BALLS I’ve searched all over this subreddit for a solution

I have had a very hard time finding a saddle and for the first time in my 3 years of riding I found one that doesn’t cause pressure on my taint, but after about 45 minutes on the bike my balls get super sore. Well, my left ball. Idk why

Anyways, obviously I’m not sitting on my fucking balls guys but that’s what everyone seems to think is happening when people post about this. Some are obviously joke, and quite funny, but the majority of the top voted replies all mention not sitting on your balls. I don’t get it

Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

I use Fidelity for everything finance. I use Cash Management as my bank, I have their credit card, I have my retirement accounts in it. I’m definitely a power user. I really like Fidelity, but the app…

I solely use Fidelity on mobile unless I need to use the desktop for something the app doesn’t provide, which isn’t my issue. But I could go on and on about what I dislike about the app. Also, I’m really not trying to outright bash it and disrespect the developers - I just don’t feel like what they’ve made is landing.

Aside from it being a little counter intuitive to use, a bit convoluted, and the overall quirks, I think the actual design choices are just weird, in my opinion.

For example, a big thing for me is seeing my gains. The app only shows the gain for the day no matter what time frame you select. The shortest time frame is one month. If I sell something the gains are erased. If I sell at a loss, the loss is erased. The daily gains don’t affect the graph until the next day.

I just don’t get it. I’m not asking for a Robinhood type app, but what gives? Why so bad?

Finally landed on the Fizik Vento Argo after trialing a bunch of saddles for my Scott Foil. It’s one of only two saddles (the other being an SQlab) that actually puts pressure on my sit bones instead of my taint. Everything else I’ve tried is 90% perineal pressure.

The Argo is clearly the winner shape wise, but now that I’m actually loading my sit bones, they’re a bit sore. Probably just an adaptation thing, but it got me thinking about whether there’s something similar in shape with a bit more support under the sit bones.

My first thought was the 3D version, but I’ve had 3D saddles before and the foam wear on bibs is a turn off. I’ve also heard the cutout on the 3D isn’t as aggressive as the standard model, and people report pressure between the sit bones, which is exactly what I’m trying to avoid.

That led me to the Tempo. The shape looks similar but it’s marketed more toward endurance, and I’m on a Foil in a pretty aggressive position, which is probably why the Vento geometry works so well for me to begin with. Has anyone ridden both?

Curious how the two compare, especially for someone trying to stay on their sit bones without sacrificing comfort in an aggressive position.
