I heard a speech of his in a video and I thought surely this is fake. No way did he say that.
But yep, he said it. And it’s BAD!

Not many shows have I watched where I have cried multiple times, but this show was definitely one of them! It was so heartwarming and had many emotional moments. I loved when he got excited too.
The ending was remarkable. I loved how he said that every life saves been saving many others and changing many others’ lives. The trickle down effect. I was sad there was only 10 episodes bc I wasn’t ready for it to end, but what an ending indeed!

I am. I say he’s an angry spouse bc so many things make him angry. I cannot understand this way of living bc I’m so much the opposite. It can really be disheartening sometimes when I see it so often. He’s also so often exhausted too. It’s not the best combo but I love him and accept him as he is for the most part. But it’s hard like when he comes home and I’m so happy to see him and I show that and it’s met with a less than happy response. Most of the time I can let it go but sometimes it adds up. And to be clear he isn’t like acting angry at me, taking out his anger and such, but I just see him angry a lot.

I don’t understand how the divide turned into so many Republican men and women mocking liberal women. The law is there. This is nothing new. And the law isn’t about democrats or republicans as it’s already a law in place. Then it’s people’s jobs to uphold the law.
Now the three women juror are being horribly mocked and so much hatred about them and their looks and such.
It also is obvious many don’t understand the law and how the jury works and such as well but weigh in anyway.
Going forward how can we move past this?
If she’s not supposed to be in prison, then she shouldn’t go to prison

If you get married young, that means you have 60 years to live with that person. It’s heartbreaking to think about the senior men and women who divorce after 60, after 40+ years together. That’s just awful. I just wonder how many in the Bible were ever married this long.

It has several heartwarming times that I can’t keep the tears away. Especially with Shaun’s sort of innocent sort of ways. Can anyone else relate?

This means that parents can have a private account in their Instagram, and if at some point when threads first launched they got the click to set up threads, everything they post in private in Instagram, gets shared in threads if they didn’t turn off cross posting.
There was a mother who posted in her Instagram a post about her son becoming a man and a photo of him without a shirt, and it got shared 450 times, to who knows where. At least one profile grabbed it and posted it along with tons of other photos of children which is disgusting!
Threads is not monitored the same and there are some seriously creepy and disgusting posts on there involving children.

I COMPLETELY believe husband and wife complement each other. I never knew that complementarians box husband and wife into specific roles and don’t provide nuance, but knowing this I must reject it.
The Bible is much more mutual when it comes to marriage, but doesn’t give us all the details and specific issues, nor does it really account for our culture today.
The beauty of a marriage is that so often a husband has weaknesses that his wife has strength in so she teaches him how to grow and do better and vice versa.
Likewise a husband can lead his family spiritually in some ways and the wife lead her family spiritually in other ways.
A a husband and a wife need each other, and should encourage each other to grow in the Lord and in life.
The church has tons of doing things together and for each other, mutually. It makes no sense that wouldn’t carry over into the marriages but instead he was supposed to be a dictator. No. And while they had certain roles, that doesn’t mean our roles must be the same today. We are a people bound for change.

Who here doesn’t like to give or receive it? And what is the reason?

This issue perplexes me bc there’s like this push to reproduce but how can this happen when standard of living requires two incomes almost certainly? Like my sons and wives need those two incomes to live their basic lifestyles and that’s before children, they are young so they have some time to figure it out and things can change but right now? No way, No one can stay at home and get bills paid and both working means childcare expenses, which means both working full time for about $600 more per month after paying childcare. That just seems crazy to me! So how does this work?

Jake Lang has been in the news quite a bit bc he is causing quite the stir. But it’s not a good stir. He’s trying to preach Jesus while being so rude and arrogant towards Muslims. I find this grievous and anti Christian. I see too many people supporting him. Preaching Jesus while being hateful just doesn’t fly. It reminds me of Trump who catered to the Christians to get their vote. Like I want to say to take His name out of your mouth, bc you do not represent Him.

Duuude! Salen is so evil! She comes off sweet with her pep and smile. She had good ideas but she is bad news. I hope she gets taken out. I’m in season 5 ep 10.

There is a discussion going on in my hometown bc a teacher in 3rd grade is assigning “nightly homework” with a packet that goes home previous Friday, and if it’s not completed, the student will lose recess to complete it. And if missed too often, will lose other privileges. Some parents said they refuse to do homework with their child and will not sign the “homework contract.”
Other parents’ kids had this teacher and said that homework for the whole week can be done in around 30- 60 minutes.
So I’m just curious the various views on homework from a teachers viewpoint.
