Surprised by the interview between Hunter Biden and Candace Owens .

Wow! What a surprising interview. It’s long, almost 2 hours, but he was so honest and humble about things regarding his addiction, and how his life was turned around in 2019, when he got clean and sober. It really shows that no one is beyond redemption. Idk where his relationship really is with God but I’d definitely say he’s looking. And Candace straight up apologizes for her own attitude towards him and more or less jumping on the bandwagon to dehumanize him even though they still disagree on political issues. Very interesting! *There could be triggers for those who are recovering addicts as he uses some details about drug use.

You might be a Christian nationalist if…

What are the examples of Christian nationalism ideology? Some seem to think that it’s simply being in politics and speaking about God. If that was the case then some of the founders were Christian nationalists.

How secular should we be in the US?

This is a question I ask myself bc I don’t want to be ruled by religion. This is Sharia law. This is Judaism in the Bible. We live in the world but not of it. I do not agree with what Texas did requiring schools to hang Ten Commandments in public schools. I love the Lord, but I have a really hard time seeing religion mixed in with politics. I just don’t know how much secularism is too much. Like I’m fine with gay marriage but not fine letting boys compete in girls sports or letting them go to locker rooms. How do we navigate this?

Marshawn brought the word

This man addressed the Louisiana senate committee, and hit the nail on the head as to why they feel this was such an injustice. He very succinctly explained the issue here and it describes what I was talking about the other day with the unfairness of this. Call it racist if you want. I call it fair representation.

My daughter was asked her salary. This is her first job in IT…

So she gave the amount she thought was reasonable, for the company, the area, and the fact that she doesn’t have extensive experience yet. I think it was a fair starting amount, but she’s kicking herself because the owner said he expected it to be higher. Like she knows that she could have gone higher and negotiated so now she wishes she would have. I do hate that question though. I guess they figure if they can pay you less for the same work, they will, huh? Is there any room for re negotiating? Like even just asking for a significant raise after a probation period or something? Should she even try to do that when she gets the offer package?

How do you decide what your salary request should be?

When the interviewer asks you, what your salary should be, how is this determined? In our area, beginners wages average $20-22 per hour, so would you request higher, to negotiate to that average salary? Or would you just give the average salary? The fear being not to overstate and be passed over but to also not under bid.

I’m trying to understand what the heck is happening here. I understand the posts on social media do not necessarily reflect truths, but will redrawing maps in a more uniform manner, drown out minority voices instead of joining them together and making them stronger? I know the law doesn’t allow for districts to be gerrymandered. I get that. But when we talk about seats for the state and all this stuff, how can you make it fair and not drown out the minority voices? I’m asking this question regardless if it’s a blue state or a red one. And by minority, I don’t just mean by race. But I AM seeing a lot of posts by the right side showing maps full of red and saying these states will get more seats bc of the redrawing.

This whole idea that it’s okay to not ask for congressional approval regarding Iran, bc the ceasefire has halted or stopped the clock, seems like some kind of sneaky sneak loophole. “Sen. Adam Schiff., argued that the military was operating warships and other military assets even though it has stopped bombing Iran during the ceasefire. Ceasing to use some forces while using others does not somehow stop the clock,” Schiff said.” Others don’t know if this is legal. Once again, a question of legality as it pertains to Trump. What do you think about all this?

Quote from VICE PRESIDENT JD VANCE: “You need to look yourself in the mirror and say that political disagreement is fine but inviting violence upon your political opponents makes you part of the problem.” I commented how the President himself invited violence. Someone asked me how did he and I told them that I heard him with my own ears tell supported to hit people in the face, knock the crap out of them, and how he said he would like to punch him (a protester) in the face. They asked if I heard it or read it. And they asked me for context and whether it was done in defense or aggression. Now I don’t think there’s any defensive need for a president in running, to say those things of opposers. And the point is, he has literally done what VP Vance spoke out about. President Trump is amongst the ones to invite violence and they don’t see it.
