I mean.. I wouldn’t think so, but I’m curious anyway

So, my crush goes to my school but I was too shy to talk to him in person, so on the last day of school I found his instagram.

I reached out to him, and he seemed pretty responsive. A bit dry, but I think that’s just how he types generally since his posts are worded the same way.

We have a lot of things in common and we just chatted about them, he tells me little things about himself without me asking, and he asks me questions too.

But, obviously, that doesn’t mean he’s interested, he could just be polite.

What signs should I look out for to just give it up?

I’m super shy (newjeans reference?) and introverted and I’m way too scared to go up to the guy I like. I have no idea what his personality is, I’ve never talked to him at all, he doesn’t know me and I don’t know him. He’s not in any of my classes, I see him around sometimes in the halls but he’s always with friends. He’s the cutest guy I’ve seen at my school. You see.. tomorrow is the last day of school for me. It’s my last chance. I have an idea for where he’ll be but I think I’ll try and find him and have my friends go with me for moral support.. 😭

But I need to build my confidence. I’ll tell you all my plan and I want to know if I should refine it.. but it’s not a guarantee that the first part of my plan will work..

1. Go and find him and see if I can catch him alone (I don’t want to follow him though so I’ll see if he’s going off somewhere by himself and if not, I’ll leave him alone)

2. If I do find him alone, I’m going to take a deep breath and walk up to him and say: “Hey, excuse me! Sorry, I think you’re kinda cute, and I was wondering if I could have your insta? If you have it, of course. But! Please don’t feel pressured to say yes, you can always say no, I won’t mind at all.”

3. If he says yes, booyah! And we’ll go from there. If he says no, I’ll say “Thank you for your honesty!” And walk away.

What im worried about is how he’ll react tho. Is he the blunt type of person? I have no clue. What if he tells me “No, you’re ugly.” to my face?

If I can’t do it this summer, I do have another way that’s more of a hassle.. I have a friend who’s friends with one of his friends.. but I don’t know if they still talk.

I just need advice on what to do.. to up my chances more, I’ll try and look my best for tomorrow..

A post from THAT pro AI sub pops up in my feed every once in a while and a lot of the times I see them post a picture of someone with their anti-ai opinion and human made art and INSTEAD of having a discussion about the opinion, they just HAVE to shit on the persons art.

You know, I just find it really funny. Why are you shitting on someone’s hard work when all you do is type in a prompt?

In the future, I can totally see them becoming the people from Wall-E. They’ll just be too lazy to do anything and have AI do everything for them.

Now, I know that some Israelis are calling for the death of Palestinians, I’ve seen videos of it, and I think that’s disgusting too. That’s Nazi ideology as well.

Both are disgusting and vile. But some people just can’t separate the israeli people from the Israeli government. I am Jewish and I have family in Israel, but that doesn’t mean I’m a Zionist, does it? Because I’m not, I recognize that the Israeli government and its president are both very in the wrong.

I have been watching anime dubs for as long as i can remember, and now im starting to want to learn japanese, so i would like some anime recommendations that are like.. easy to pick up japanese from?
