Are sugar snap peas safe to eat when they have these light/white markings on them? I’m assuming they’re from abrasion and the skin breaking but not sure if they’re the first sign of going bad or something? Also the ones that are getting brown look a bit weird.

TBH I would probably use these without hesitation if I was cooking them, but since I’m eating them raw I just wanted to check.

I’ve recently started experimenting with this technique (alcohol markers first then pencil crayons on top) and I love it! It’s really fun. I’m not too happy with how the snail’s body turned out but I love the shell and the greenery.

My parents are adopting her tomorrow and we're trying to figure out a good name!

Also if anyone has any ideas of what kind of dog she is, that would be awesome! We're sure she's part shih tzu but not sure what else. I've included pre- and post-groomed shots for consideration.

I didn’t even mean to rhyme that title, but leaving it as is 👌🏻👌🏻 this is Sophie, my mom’s adorable lynx point.

First described in 1956, it actually had no reported sightings again until 2004! Its classified as endangered by IUCN as so far its only known habitat is along a stretch of highway somewhere in Ecuador. it's very possible they have a wider range, we just haven't found it yet.

That delightful schnozz is generally about 85% of the total head length in fullgrown males (and only males. We love a little sexual dimorphism). We're not yet sure exactly what its for, but biologists have ruled out male vs malecombat as it's very flexible and wouldn't really work for that. It's thought that it could have something to do with sexual selection from the females, or simply make the little guy appear larger than he is (they're not big anyway - only 2-3 inches without the tail).

Not sure if this one will be hard or not. It’s a pretty small one with only a few gates, yet pretty busy.

Duck fat fries, bison gravy, cheese curds, cubed smoked ham, and dill pickle bits. Western Sandwich Co. in Edmonton, AB. Took a pic of the more sparse side just to show the ham and pickle better, the other side was completely covered in gravy.

It was absolutely delicious 🤤🤤. We got it at a farmers market where they had a kiosk but they have a brick and mortar location too with half a dozen other flavours I’m excited to try one day.

I got this tattoo a few years ago during a promo by a local shop for mental health awareness, and it has some real significance for me.

Unfortunately the guy who initially did it rushed it and was sloppy, and someone else at their shop ended up having to touch it up a few months later, which is why it’s as bold as it is, he had to go over all the lines again and make it bolder to hide the rush job from the first time. It used to look a lot more fine lined.

I still like the tattoo but it just feels boring to me. I was trying to think of a way to spiff it up a bit, but I’m really not sure what to do… any suggestions? I thought some kind of watercolour burst behind it might be nice but I’m really not sure what would look good.

Any suggestions?
