13 years old Female Pseudemys sp.

She has cardiac problems, hypertension and liver problems

The vet has told us to give her some injected antibiotics to prevent infection (I'm not sure about this ngl, I thought it was like humans that antibiotics were not a preventive measure), a injected diuretic and half a pill for the hypertension

She is my best friend'sry and she sent me this video bc she noticed these sacs? The vet told her they'd do an XRay to see if she has eggs, but that looks like liquid to me. Maybe gout? Maybe just fat? I'm obsessed with aquatic lives and I have a tortoise of my own that's why she asked me for help researching.

Also, the vet told us to give her fish (sardines) and as she is an adult her species is almost strictly hervibore and sardines are really fatty (bad for her bad heart and liver) and have thiamine which destroys their B1 vitamin absorption from what I've researched.

Could you help me with a lead about what this could be? For now I've told her to focus on safe greens for her, look into turtle pellets and to see if she likes some earthworms. Also maybe add some guppies to her pond for her to chase as those don't have almost any thiamine and are safe for her to eat if she gets some.

TIL there's a limit of Orders that can be learned in Nintendogs...

I've been playing the dalmatian version with only one dog and turns out after 14 it says my dog's head cannot handle more tricks :(

Is that a bubble nest or just bubbles?

I have a male honey with a pretty pronounced black beard and 2 females (who may be sexually immature still)

Is this honey gourami a female or a young male?

Won't stop following my males and around and has chased my female once, mind you she? came in today

u/ambrosia234 — 17 days ago

Are any of these honey gouramis in the fish store females?

They all look pretty male to me, there's one that does look paler but maybe it's just stressed, they told me they got them in yesterday

Sexing help gourami

In the last pic on the top left is my female that has been in for 20 days, I saw her circling with one of the new fish but idk if that's a good or bad sign. She's also skittish and hiding a bit but also follows them around

I want to know if they are 2 males.

They are a lot bigger than the female and one has like an orange tail?

2 new honey gouramis for my 105L

Sol (the fish that's been here for 20 days) is following them around lol! (She's the one with the stripe).
She has shown her side to them (maybe to seem bigger? I want to know more about fish communication)
These 2 are much bigger than Sol, I'll take clearer pics when the light is on. Both the new fish are exploring around!

Let's hope the new ones are not both males... Please help me understand more about their body language so I can separate them if they fight!

Could you help me see if my LFS has male and female honey gouramis?

Is this a wild pattern neo?

I have blue velvets, black Sakura and black rili, the first gen shouldn't be wilds already? But I guess they were low quality I ADORE the pattern (it's twinning with my gastrodermus nanus 🤭)

My dog suddenly has this spot on her throat and has a lump

She's a 7 year old female pure Chihuahua, 3kg.

She has always had the lumps (I guess lymph nodes or amygdala) but recently on her left one I noticed there's like another lump and a blackish spot that I don't think was there before has formed on her throat:

1-2 are the spot

3 is the size of the normal lump

4 is both the lumps

She has a history of fatty liver and she sometimes gets like, dizzy with her back paws more open when walking (vet told us is the fatty liver probably, not neurological). She is not spayed either

Could I get 6 Otocinclus affinis?

It's a 105L, 7.4~pH, 4 months old, 25ºC in winter, up to 28ºC in summer.
It has 14 boraras merah, 7 gastrodermus nanus, 1 honey gourami (2 more on the plan) 4 clithon corona, 3 amano shrimp, 13 adult neocaridinas + all the babies and a ton of ramshorns and bladder snails.
I don't know if 6 or 7 otos would be too much for this? I wanted them from the start but wanted for some algae to grow and now I have some even on the glass.
If they are not good for this set up I won't get them and I'll leave it be after the other 2 honeys are in.
