I’ve been in love with this motorcycle for the last two years. Every time I saw one on the road, I couldn’t help but admire it. The looks, the road presence, and the overall character of the bike always made me want to own one someday.

However, after joining Reddit and reading through various ownership experiences, I’m starting to have second thoughts.

When you’re spending ₹4.5–5 lakh on a motorcycle, you naturally expect a certain level of reliability. I know no machine is perfect, but some of the issues I’ve come across seem a bit concerning. I’ve seen owners report wobbling problems, battery issues, engine warning lights, stability concerns, and various other niggles.

Reading about these problems has made me question whether this is the right choice for me.

This would be my first motorcycle, and while I absolutely love the bike, spending close to ₹5 lakh is a significant investment. I take good care of my vehicles, get them serviced on time, and don’t mind replacing wear-and-tear parts when required. But if the ownership experience is going to be filled with recurring issues and constant trips to the service center, that could take away from the joy of owning it.

So I’d love to hear from actual owners. How has your ownership experience been? Are these issues as common as they seem online, or is Reddit simply highlighting the worst cases?

Also, if you think there are better alternatives in the ₹5 lakh range, I’d appreciate your recommendations.(irrespective to the segment of the bike)
