General Help Playing Wu

So I’ve been playing Wukong like nonstop for the last few days, absolutely loving the champ. While my win rate has been high I feel like I am definitely not playing him even close to his peak. Should I be top damage? I feel like I have improved working in as many Qs as possible in team fights but dont really ever have high damaged output overall and will be like 4th/5th damage every game. When we win I’ll get praise because I seem to engage well and use the knockup to win fights but the few games I’ve lost with similar numbers I’m absolutely torched by team. I like the bruiser build more than the lethality one, even with bruiser I feel like I still die pretty fast if they have multiple range/ap champs.

Best OTP to watch to improve?

Really enjoying Wu in the jungle but was curious if there’s any one tricks that people enjoy watching? Most guides I’m seeing on YouTube are Sawyer JG and FZ frost and those guys just spam content without really mastering any champion

Jungle Viability Since Patch

I’ve been seeing a lot of mixed opinions and was wondering what people on here thought of nasus jungle since the patch. I’d imagine he’d be worse at least early because you don’t have the CDR needed to efficiently kill the small creeps in camps with Q. But he’s still going to be great late game. Does that seem fair of an assessment or am I complete off base? Haven’t had a chance to play myself.

TLDR: is he worse early but still great late or do I just need to change my early game clearing strategy a bit

Stack Goals / Early Game Clearing for Jungle

I’m really enjoying Nasus in the jungle but feel like I’m definitely not doing well when it comes to stacks in the first 20 minutes. I feel like my average first clear is taking 30 seconds longer than people I watch on videos and even though I feel like I’m perma farming I can never even get close to the stack amounts they have after like 25 minutes that they’ll have in 15 😂 being in low elo; not playing “optimally” still is yielding high win rate but I’m always trying to improve. Genuinely think nasus could help me carry myself into higher ranks once I can get him down more.

Why won't raids attack through my kill tunnel? They just keep going for the door

I've copied this one to a tee from a video I watched and it worked great for them but I can't seem too get mine to work

Update: I realized I wasn’t copying it to a tee lol

The traps all needed to be shifted back one, this was very educational though I didn’t realize how many people comment on posts here with 0 knowledge 🤣🤣

How to fix this type of light fixture? Was hoping it was the bulb but tried like 8 different kinds. All just light up in on that one side.

Understanding Hauling for dumb noob

I’m hoping I will phrase this in a way that makes sense…

One nuisance that I keep coming across is when I send people off to chop wood, mine ore, harvest berries, heal root, or crops they just leave everything on the ground after finishing. Is there a vanilla way to get have a pawn haul things back with them as they harvest or is it just expected that I just keep scanning the map for things left behind and mark the to be hauled and just have a designated pawn to haul?

Other idea, is there a way to have these things automatically be marked as haul so someone will come grab them regardless?

Early Game Questing / Caravaning

One part of this game that I feel like I know absolutely nothing about but am scared to torch a run doing is quests and caravans. If you’ve only got your starting 3 pawns do you even consider doing it or do you want like a lot of pawns? What are some considerations you in your experiences that would indicate it’s a good idea to do one or not? I want to try it but I’ve never gotten far enough in a run where I’ve got a spare 5/6 pawns and a heard of cattle to do a caravan

Mod Help (Ignorant Unc His Trying Best)

I subscribed to several mods on the workshop, I can see them in my mod list. Killed my game and Steam to reset. Started a new colony and none of the mods seem to be on. What else do I need to do? I've never modded a game before.

QOL Mods that don’t yield explicit advantages / change the game

I’ve put in a concerning amount of hours into this game after buying it last week. Haven’t beaten it but am getting better every run.

I’ve never modded a game before, I have always had a very narrow viewpoint that it was cheating but there’s definitely some things about this game at its core design is flawed. And it seems like everyone enjoys the mod community co the game. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some QOL mods to just enhance the experience. Like a mod that allows me to preset policies and Bill orders I do every time, something to make hauling feel more efficient, it’d be nice if people who did plant work would bring all crops to storage immediately after harvest 🤣

Anything you enjoy please feel free to share!

Understanding Hunting and Hauling

I'm very new to the game. Been struggling figuring out food, recently saw in a video the wildlife tab and that you designate to hunt animals. I turned that on and the guy I gave the gun to has exclusively been hunting non stop even though his priority is at 3.

While this is confusing already, I've also noticed noone is picking up the bodies to be butchered... I allowed animal corpses to be put in the dumping zone so I just don't really get what I am doing wrong. There's just dead animals everywhere and no way to eat them :/

Helping Noob

I just harvested 2 cows, there is now a shit ton of raw beef rotting away on the ground in my base. The next room over I have a freezer setup... and the zone is designated for food only... No one will haul it over. When I try to manualy do it my only options are clean for or eat raw beef. Any help?? This game is fun but wow its very clunky to learn

Educational Content for Noobs / Is anything irrelevant because of age?

Just purchased the game on sale. I really enjoy watching educational content on games in my free time when I can't actually play.

Is this game updated a lot? Or are beginner guides from years ago still relevant?

Building Priority List

Was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their “checklist” of things they like to do in their first year. I’m new to the game, find it very overwhelming but seems quite fun. I’ve been searching through the Reddit and only found some posts from like 2 years ago. I’m assuming some things have changed.

Looking For Clan with Active Members

I’m a returning player after like a decade currently at TH9. (There was so much new stuff I felt like restarting was my best choice). My friend convinced me to try the game out again with him (he’s somewhere in the TH12 range I think) We’ve been playing basically nonstop because that’s just how we roll 🤣 we’ve been trying to find a clan that actually has active players. We’ve joined a couple and it’s been lame basically having us be the only people donating troops, doing clan activities, and using the chat. Anyone have some room for 2 30 year old dudes just tryna get back into the swing of it?

Wintertodt World Hopping Method With Plugin

I feel like more often than not when I finish a run every other world is well below 60% I just end up being waiting 30 seconds then starting at an full health todt room the next go. Idk how this method could possibly yield so much more xp/h. I've been doing this from 50-85 fm so far and I feel like it's synced up well for maybe an hour of this grind so far. Am I doing something wrong or is that just how the cookie crumbles?

Missandei S7E4

Very Random but I'm rewatching the series for the like 10th time (I know, idk why I am so obsessed with this show.

In S7E4 when talking to Davos and Jon Snow about being a Bastard she didn't know what that was. While yes, she does say in Narth that marriage doesn't exist I have a hard time believing that someone that speaks 17 languages and has such high knowledge of so many different cultures and societies how had she not once heard of a Bastard? Seems strange to me.

Animation Speed Up?

I was streaming my screen in a discord the other day for some people who were helping me learn the ropes a bit more. They said it was completely unwatchable because my fights were “too slow” I thought they meant my literal moves but after watching theirs, their game was literally faster. I decided to play duos with one and my game would still be in combat and his would be done for like 15 seconds and he’s already be back in tavern (literally with more time to do things). Is this just a hardware difference or is there a 3rd party way to speed up animations that isn’t considered cheating?

When I asked them they kind of sussed out the idea that there is a 3rd party way to speed it up but wouldn’t say…

Sprites Preventing Game Launch??

Unsure what to even title this... Was playing the game fine and dandy, crashed all of the sudden and now can't load it because of "Playful Sprites". I uninstalled the game, tried going fresh but nothing... Any ideas???
