Ireland is so great for the tipping thing

We went to tons of bars.

They don't take tips. Even when I offered the said no.

Only one bar (in Belfast) took a tip and didn't say thanks or anything, just took the money and went on his way.

Most of the time you just tap your credit card, there's no extra money in the transaction. I think we saved a couple hundred in tips over the course of the 8 days, lol.

The cocky guy from S18 who claimed he was just going to his cousin/buddy's house...

Man, this guy really thought he had them over, he was such a cocky jerk the whole time like "my story is airtight" just ignoring the texts and the fact he couldn't' keep his story straight (and the two phones, woops)

All these people are bad, do not get me wrong but some of them you feel a little bad for - they did a really dumb thing, maybe the first time and now their life is over. But this guy. Man, you really want them to throw the book at this jerk.

Just started watching Takedown

As a huge fan of the original TCAP, I started watching some of the Takedown episodes which don't have the same wallop as those original episodes and get a little tedious with Hansen's questions, but that said, the worst part is "there's something you should know, I'm Chris hansen and I do stories on predators..."

So? Not the same punch as "I'm with Dateline NBC and you're on camera..." and the guy's shitting his pants.

In these episodes, the guy has pretty much already gathered what's going on and "doing stories" isn't the big gotcha I think Chris thinks it is.

What's the lame "cliched" comeback you see people on reddit use as a big "zinger" and have to laugh at how lame it is?

I just cannot believe people still use "you must be fun at parties" as a big comeback.

If I was in a discussion with someone and they insulted me and said something stupid, and I could not come up with a response outside "you must be fun at parties," I'd just concede.

Imagine reciting that pathetic line and thinking you had some big zinger?

I'm so sick of people accosting me outside EVERY store that I'm super rude now. Is this bad?

I live in California. There is NO store where you can just go in, buy something and leave and go about your day. Going in and going out you get accosted by every idiot trying to sign up people for something, selling something, begging for money, doing surveys, whatever.

I walk out and the moron comes up to me, I tell them to "fuck off" right away, so I don't ahve to deal with it. I'm so tired of it. EVery time. Nothing else works. They will follow you to your car with this bullshit.

Is this bad?

Location: California. What legal options do I have for solar salesmen who won't get off my property?

I've had two now over the last four months. Won't leave my property, literally say "I don't have to." They literally won't leave.

Best advice is to "water my plants" which all surround the porch. Thank you.

location: Bay Area, Calfornia

What is it with the solar idiots who not only ignore the “no soliciting” signs but won’t get off your property when you tell them to?

Second time in four months

Solar idiot comes at dinner, ignores the signs says he’s not soliciting and won’t get off my property

Both guys say “I don’t have to”

I say” I feel threatened “ and grab my bat, both guys ran to the drive way repeating they didn’t have to leave and start running around my car like a child

The guy from a few months ago was going “nananana” like a 6year old. Called the cops on that idiot

The guy today finally got off and ran away saying. “Have a blessed day”

The guy from 4 months ago was from sunrun

I filed a complaint with them and gave them the police report number and screenshots from the cameras on out house

The guy today was from that California energy initiative that pretends they working with pg&e

What is the thought process behind “I don’t have to get off your property?”
