I’m currently using Semrush AI for AI search/GEO tracking, but I’m considering trying Otterly.ai to see how they compare.

For anyone who has used Otterly.ai, I’d really appreciate your honest experience.

How does it compare with Semrush in terms of:

Data accuracy and reliability

AI Overviews / ChatGPT / Perplexity tracking

Citation and brand visibility data

Historical data and reporting

Pricing and overall value

Ease of use

Agency/client reporting

I’m mainly looking for real user experience and data, not just feature comparisons. Any pros/cons or things you wish you knew before switching would be really helpful.

I noticed the new Generative AI performance report showing up in one of my Search Console properties.

The interesting part isn’t just that Google added another report - it gives us a separate way to look at how our pages are appearing across AI-powered search experiences.

I’m going to start comparing:

Which pages get AI visibility

AI impressions vs. traditional Search impressions

Which content gets surfaced most often

Whether AI visibility is actually translating into traffic
