Did anyone have a successful VBAC after pokey IUD?

Hi all, I have a unique situation that I would like to get some input on.
Post first cesarean i got the IUD because I was breastfeeding.
Ultimately I had it removed because I always felt discomfort and a little poke on my left side. As soon as it was removed the pain was no longer. So I'm certain it was the IUD.
My worry is that

  1. If I go for a VBAC my uterus would rupture in that spot due to maybe the iud poking through and due to it being high in the uterus it's unsafe to labor?
  2. that the placenta would attach around that area and cause focal accreta
I have spoken to my OB in regards to the poking iud and worry about uterine rupture but he quickly disregarded it. But I'm not sure if that's because he assumed I wouldn't labor and would automatically do a repeat C.
But idk something in me says to just ask around?
I'll be switching OBs most likely to a more supportive provider and will bring this up with her.
But just want to know if anyone has dealt with this situation?
I'm scared about rupture as it is.

Experiences with anterior low lying placenta?

Hi what was your experience like with low lying anterior placenta? Or did you ever have a lower uterine segment implantation?

Did you have previa or accreta?

Does low lying anterior placenta automatically mean accreta?

Has anyone ever had a low gestational sack move up higher into uterus?

Went in at 6weeks 4 days and my gestational sack was very low. Currently 8 weeks. Experienced lots of cramping but no blood.

Obviously worried about what’s going on inside me.

Also wondering if anyone has ever had their gestational sack move up higher? Is that even a thing?

Unfortunately I’m in a big fiasco because my sack was close to my c section scar which could cause so many issues down the road.

I wish I knew what the future held 😭😭😭

Tell me about your second pregnancy post c section.

Where did it implant?

Was it low?

Did your doctor scare you at any point?

Did you experience more cramping in the early weeks?

Did you spot a lot in your first trimester?

Currently going through a scary situation and wanting to hear others experiences.

has anyone had implantation very near cervix or on uterine scar?

Has anyone had the baby implant low near the uterus or on their uterine scar?

Had first ultrasound today and doctor is worried about accreta, previa etc. but we won’t know for a few weeks.

I’m obviously spiraling and I know that it all depends on case by case basis but would love to hear others experiences. Good or bad.

HELP- second baby, low lying sac, baby implanted near/ on uterine scar close to cervix

Hi all,

Needing support- has anyone had baby implant near cervix or on uterine scar?

I’m in desperate need of support.

Had first ultrasound today and doctor is worried about accreta, previa etc. but we won’t know for a few weeks.

I’m 6w 4 days

I’m obviously spiraling and I know that it all depends on case by case basis but would love to hear others experiences. Good or bad.

My worst case scenario is no longer uterine rupture.

I’m a mess.

I’m going to call tomorrow and ask if he’s sure it’s not cesearean scar ectopic pregnancy.

I have a baby girl earth-side who I need to be here for. I’m so scared

How to know if baby is securely attached? I fear I may have damaged by doing CIO.

I’m mom. I’ve had a Velcro breastfed baby from the time she was born. At about 6 months we started sleep training (CIO) and it didn’t work so we paused. Tried again at 8 months and it worked for a time. She’s now 14 months and it’s worked on and off. We started sleep training because we were insanely sleep deprived.

I REGRET DOING CIO.

I want to know what are ways I can help my baby be securely attached to me.
We are very responsive during the day but at night we stopped by advice of our pediatrician that she had to self soothe.

Last night she as my last straw. I just can’t hear her crying like that.

She fell asleep as soon as I put her in the crib, but then woke up 45 min later and that’s when we let her cry it out for a while.

I REGRET THIS DEEPLY.
But I just don’t see how this works.
I wouldn’t let any other person I know cry alone in a room!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I went in and helped her fall asleep of course.
Problem is spouse and I are not in the same page. He thinks she needs to learn a skill. While I say sometimes we need help learning a lesson.

I don’t care what my spouse thinks I will respond to my baby from here on out.

She responds well to being put in her crib and us leaving the room, usually she cries for about 30 seconds and then goes right to sleep.
I’ve noticed this is her pattern. She will do this even in the car, she will be perfectly fine then cry then fall asleep so I’m not worried about this portion of crying.

Or should I be?

My problem lies with her crying for longer than 5 minutes at bedtime. Which has regrettably occurred many many times. But I need to change course and will.

Have I damaged my child? Damaged her relationship with me?
Do you have any advice to repair?

Please no judgment. I see where I was wrong, I want to repair.

Has anyone gone through a traumatic event and fetus was ok/ healthy?

Hi all.

Today I witnessed a shooting at the Seattle Center.
I was with my husband and sisters and my baby plus the 6 week fetus in my uterus

We ran and ran and ran and at one point I got my baby (one year old) out of the stroller threw her over the fence to my sister and then jumped the fence my self.

Will this impact the fetus?

So far no bleeding, but I’ve been experiencing camping however don’t know if it’s just normal cramping or stress induced

I don’t even know what else to ask or say

I’m just scared I hurt my baby, but in the moment I didn’t even think about it

It was so scary

How can the world be so cruel

I think I should call my doctor tomorrow morning? Has anyone gone through traumatic event and fetus been ok?

I’m scared to have possibly detached it from the uterus or something from the force of the jump

What helped you survive the newborn stage with a toddler?

Hi all, hope this is allowed I’ll have two under two for about three months hehe but I’m still gonna be part of this club.

Wondering what helped you survive postpartum with the second babe and having a toddler? What would you do again what wouldn’t you do? What did you stress that you wish you had not?

Looking for support & encouragement

Looking for support & encouragement.
Hi everyone. Just got a positive test today. Second pregnancy

My first c section was an induction. Baby kept having decels. She was tangled up in her cord.
I am 14 months postpartum.
Now here 1 am.
I want to be excited but consumed by all the what ifs.
Especially considering my high BMI. I'm scared of it affecting my success rate. I was on a weight loss journey. My highest was 220 at 5'1 & I had finally gotten down to 209.
I have such a heavy starting weight.
I also am worried about going late again. First babe I was induced at 41+2
I just don't know what else to say other than I feel paralyzed.
Where should I start to prepare for a VBAC?
I wanted a bigger family and don't want to have another surgery.
My toddler will have just turned two.
Help.

I’m gonna stop breastfeeding for selfish reasons

I’m going to stop breastfeeding for selfish reasons

My baby is 13 months and we have exclusively breastfeed. She is a BOOB BABY. And if she could have it 500 times a day she would but I have slowly stopped giving in and rederecting.

Why am I going to wean?
I want to lose weight.

I’m 5ft and 209 pounds. Highest weight was 220. It’s come off to slow for my liking.

I want to have another maybe in a year get pregnant. But I want to enjoy being at a healthy weight for a while by myself and having my body to myself.

I feel like such an incredibly selfish mom.
My baby is not ready to give it up but I am making her do it.
Thank goodness she takes a sippy cup just fine and I have started giving her cows milk in it and she will take it fine. But she always comes for milkies

Gosh it makes me emotional.

I’m just desperate to get healthy. And truth is I’m going to go on weight loss medicaiton. Not a GLP1 because I’m not a candidate but phentermine. I just can’t be breastfeeding while on it.

I know how to lose weight I know calories in calories out. I love exercising. But breastfeeding doesn’t help me and I feel like my body needs a little kickstart.

If i was not fat out of my own stupid doing and failing to have willpower I would breastfeed her until she weaned herself .

But I hate my body. I love being a mom but being fat is making me angry, miserable and overall ugly person.

My baby needs me happy too I think

What gives me hope is she is my only baby so I plan to give her alllll the attention to make up for the short breastfeeding journey.

If I have other kids and god willing I’m at a healthy weight I plan to breastfeed longer.
