Lucifer was the problem here, but this scene is still funny

Al was just minding his own business with his drink. Lucifer started antagonizing him on sight. He minimized everything Al did to help the hotel, rubbed salt in the wound by taunting Al about his fight with Adam, and he even tried to drag Angel Dust into it (who wasn’t paying attention to them).

Other than the obvious passive aggression from the mug he chose for his drink, Al was being very cordial and surprisingly patient. If I were in this situation, I would’ve ignored him and walked away as soon as he started with the rage bait. I guess Al took the bait because he was in pain here.

Here’s something hilarious that I realized about the upcoming crossover

I can see Alastor liking M&M, getting along with Stolas, and finding Loona fascinating since she is a closed book, but Alastor and Blitzø would absolutely hate each other!

Alastor would try to psychoanalyze Blitzø’s relationship with Stolas and he’d weaponize the latter’s self-hatred. Blitzø just being himself— loud, impulsive, and crude— would get on Alastor’s nerves.

Also Alastor would try to intimidate Blitzø, and Blitzø would respond like: “Oh, you think you’re scary? Fuck you!”

Lmfao. I hope these two meet AND have extended interactions with each other. It’d be so funny! They’d piss each other off so much that they might even throw hands.

I put up my drawing inside of my cubicle at work, so now everybody that walks past my cubicle will be greeted by a demon

No one in my office knows who he is, but a few of my coworkers smiled when they saw this.

Does anyone else get a feeling that patient Alastor fans will be rewarded later?

I get the criticisms about him having cringeworthy moments in the first season. His fight with Adam is one where I agree— that was cringe. However, I think that there are too many videos critiquing him as a “fraud” when we only barely got to see his powers. He needs more screen time before those criticisms can be fair. I think that, now that he’s free from his soul contract, we’ll finally get to see him live up to the hype behind his reputation.

What do you think?

PSA: This is a senior citizen

If you’re wondering why Husk knows so much, he canonically died in his 60’s-70’s. This means that he is likely mentally/emotionally arrested in that age range. That is why he has so much wisdom.

Also, remember the first season? Before he sang Loser Baby with Angel Dust, he grunted as he was getting ready to stand up from the bar stool. Husk very well might have joint pain.

So you’re telling me that neither she, nor any of her coworkers, smelled ANY gas before this happened?

Wouldn’t a professional cook on a cooking show know what a gas leak smells like? Ain’t no way Vox should’ve gotten away with this.

How would you feel if Alastor killed Lilith?

I just saw a post stating that the OP hopes Alastor does something devastatingly evil in the next season, like killing Niffty or Lilith.

I don’t think it’s likely that he’ll kill Niffty, on account of how entertaining she is. The idea of him killing Lilith sounds interesting, though. Vox spent all of season 2 glazing Lilith, who hadn’t said a single word onscreen yet. Imagine building all of this hype around a mysterious character, only for another mysterious character to kill her off.

I think this idea is hilarious because of how much discourse it’d cause online. However, it might be just what Alastor needs to do to successfully rattle Lucifer and push Charlie to use her powers.

How do you deal with hostile users on this platform?

I’ve had at least 3 experiences where I’d make what I thought was a harmless post, and the first user would skim over what I had posted and then they’d post a comment responding to what they THINK I said rather than what I had actually written. Then the following users would jump on the bandwagon and roll with the first commenter’s assumption instead of engaging with what I had actually posted in good faith.

I’m so tired of being misunderstood, and I don’t want my anxiety to prevent me from participating here. I have just as much of a right to create posts as everyone else, after all.

These days, whenever someone assumes I’m a horrible person based off of their own misreading of my post, I don’t even reply to defend myself anymore. I just don’t reply at all, and I’ll block them. I also force myself to not look to see if someone else had upvoted/validated that user’s hostility. Doing this has been a major relief for my mental health as I’ve been using Reddit. This platform is very useful, despite the occasional dogpiling.

Anyway! How do you handle users like that?

Who do you think is the funniest female character?

My vote goes to Judith! She is the only female character that always makes me laugh. I can’t even remember a single time when she had ever annoyed me.

What do you think their history is?

Mimzy speaks to Husk like they’re old acquaintances, but you can tell that Husk really doesn’t like her. I wonder if she used to frequent his casino

Should I [29F] tell my boyfriend [31M] that he should give me flowers?

No man has ever given me flowers before as a gift. He and I have been together for over a year and he has never bought me a real flower. Only a fake red rose, and that was last Valentine’s Day.

I like real flowers more, because I like the way flowers smell. I even make comic strips about anthropomorphic flowers and I’ve shown them to him, but he never thought about gifting me any. He’s very thoughtful with the gifts he does give me. He gave me a niche candle once, which was random but cute. He has also been wearing the bracelet that I bought for him last year, even though it’s broken. The other day, I gave him a Spider-Man toy. Coincidentally, it was right after he saw the latest movie with his friend. Like, a whole day later. It’s like I gave him a souvenir! He said that he would put it on his desk at work.

Anyway, should I tell him that I want him to give me flowers? I’m a little embarrassed that no man has ever given me real flowers before.

[OC] I drew Finn and Jake at work today

Then I gave it to my coworker to thank him for letting me borrow his colored pencils. The drawing made him smile, and that made me happy.

How would Carmilla react if Vaggi was the exorcist that killed her husband?

What if one of the sinners that Vaggi killed under Adam’s orders turned out to be Carmilla’s husband? How would she react? Especially since these two have become somewhat buddy-buddy, and Carmilla even helped train her in the first season.

Here is my RadioSilence Theory

My theory behind why Vox never tried hypnotizing Alastor with his mind-control powers is that it wouldn’t work. You know how Alastor’s presence glitches out when he’s on camera? I think that when Vox tries to hypnotize Alastor, his own screen glitches and this disorients Vox. So it isn’t worth the hassle.

u/empathicsynesthete — 15 days ago

I have a theory about what the Vees will do in Season 3

Remember how Vox has hypnotic powers? We’ve only ever seen him use it on sinners, but there is no evidence that suggests it won’t work on angels too.

So my theory is that either Valentino or Velvette will use Vox’s ipad head to hypnotize Vaggi into joining the Vees as their bodyguard. The Vees will broadcast themselves bragging about having a new angelic bodyguard, and this will hurt Charlie.

Do you have a favorite Alastor relationship (doesn’t have to be romantic)?

Mine is Alastor’s relationship with Vaggi. It barely exists, but the little that’s there is hilarious. Vaggi isn’t afraid of him, and Alastor enjoys rage-baiting her. They have my favorite dynamic in the whole show. Every time these two talk, it cracks me up.

I hope the third season has an episode where Alastor and Vaggi have to spend all day together

Eating green cabbage actually helps reduce stress!

For me, at least.

I’ve noticed that every time I eat cabbage, I wake up feeling calm and energized before I even have my first bite of breakfast. Due to this, I make sure to keep a head of cabbage in my fridge all the time. Another win is that cabbage is good for you, so it’s worth trying!

I can only report how I feel after eating green cabbage. I don’t eat red cabbage often, so I’m not sure if it has the same effects.

What are your headcanons about some of the jobs Al might’ve had before he worked as a radio show host?

It wouldn’t surprise me if it took him a long time to get a decent job, since he’s from the Great Depression era.
