Anyone trying to meet up for a lil kendama jam 🤷‍♀️

I was incredibly hesitant to upgrade and to be fair I sold my oled to help cover the cost. The price is absolutely nuts but I’ll say over all I really love the system. I love the games coming out, don’t love the prices but it seems like this is the normal now.
Currently playing pokopia and splatoon raiders. Looking to pre order Lego Batman in September. Probably capped out for a while after that

First splatoon game and it’s been nuts. I actually watched a strategy video to get some of the basics down. Pre inking areas to keep my ammo up, also figuring out that it’s not about just blasting through the islands it’s made to replay a lot of areas. Normally it’s a race to the end but it’s more about load outs and getting them all built up for what works best for you. The initial idea of having to play the buried ruins 3 times with a different gadget each time seemed nuts but honestly man 😮‍💨 what a crazy way to make you try new things out.
All this to say I get it, this games so much fun it’s not about an end game, it’s about all the things you do in the mean time

So I’m in the routine of constantly moving. I’m on my Saturday and I have to clean then paint and really do shit until I feel like I’ve earned a sit down around 5. And not every day cleaning but I NEED to just keep moving. This was followed by thinking a friend was mad at me so I got out of the shower mid shower to knock on wood (a very annoying compulsion) just to find peace in the resolution. Which was never actually a problem I just convinced my self there mad at me. Followed by more compulsive cleaning and art.

Sitting in therapy explaining all of this today then being asked “okay, would you say this could be a hypo manic state your in”. Which I had never really considered because I always considered mania to be self destructive.
All this to say today I learned that all of our mania if different. 😮‍💨

So back in September my grass roots boonie hat got stolen at big fam. And I’ve had this hat since 2021 after I had just met my wife and she introduced me to the scene. We started touring multiple festivals a year all the way until today and that hat came with me to every one. The only thing more sentimental is my wedding ring.
So it wasn’t just the hat but I had a scavenger hunt pin from every year i attended forest on it as well as a secret dreams scavenger hunt pin and some super dope tipper pins. About a month before forest this year I was in a thread on this sub and loosely told this story. A random homie reached out to me here and said yo I have 2 extra of two of those years let me send them to you. We did a trade I sent him a really dope mystery box in return.

So day 2 of forest this year my homie was by the trading post and found last years pin chillin with some trinkets for anyone to take 😮‍💨 incredible find
I then traded for the 2024 key pin at the trading post (incredibly tough in there but we did it 🤣)
Then we did this year hunt.
In a crazy turn of events I’ve gathered all my pins back 3 of was just generosity of homies and man.. these are the story’s I like to tell people about forest. It’s not the partying and chaos it’s the people and the magic that happens 😮‍💨 so grateful
