Stripped spur gear?

What causes this? The teeth are super worn down. I was running my brushed Gorgon on some medium grass and it started making a grinding noise. The pinion had come off despite some red Loctite and this is my spur gear.

It's a cheap and easy repair, I just want to avoid doing it again in the future.

Help with paint job

I'm a newb at painting. This is only my second body. I was going for watermelon which will make sense if you're a 90's country music fan but it really looks pretty crap to me. I did it with rattle cans and masking tape, intending to do the stripe down the middle longways but the body has weird shapes in the truck bed that I couldn't figure out how to tape. The white is on the outside because I put the paint down in the wrong order. Is there any way to salvage this or should I strip it?

The truck is a trail crawler (thus the Watermelon Crawl) and all I was really hoping for is to make a couple people smile when they get the joke.

If you drink, don't drive -Do the Watermelon Crawl.

I'm a newb at painting but I had fun with this. Hopefully there are some 90s country music fans in here. I know need different bumpers.

Why is Pro-Line Cliffhanger body shorter than the SCX10.3 chassis? The Axial website says it fits. This isn't even about the bumpers, I mean the chassis rails are about an inch too long.

"Sorry, couldn't export the image."

I've tried changing the format and resolutions. What's going on? I need this map! It's a fantasy battle map if that matters.

Injora Lights

I'm pretty happy with the lights but not with how big of a hole the bar required. The cable has some kind of chip in the middle that's about 0.4" wide.

Lights don't fit Spektrum SR515 DSMR 5-Channel Sport Receiver

I tried to install a light kit tonight and three people failed to get the plug to go into one of the aux channels. I even pulled the lights off my other Arrma and tried to plug them in and it wouldn't work. It looks like it has these tiny little corners inside the slots, like they're not perfect rectangles maybe? I assume I'm just being an idiot but what's the secret here?

New shocks for SCX1O.3 Base Camp

I'm adding a bunch of weight to my trail truck so I'm shock shopping. I was planning on Injora DRX until I saw a thread today with a bunch of complaints about them leaking. What's a good alternative budget shock?

Looking for a reliable handyman

I need one second story window replaced and I've got a balcony screen door that won't open. Can anyone recommend a local company that I could hire?

Help a newb?

My servo went out on my brushed Gorgon. I replaced it but had to add a BEC due to it browning out(?) but it worked fine afterwards. We used it several times with the BEC in place. Weirdly the power switch doesn't seem to do anything anymore.

As of yesterday, I've got steering but no throttle. It also doesn't do the little musical beep thing when the transmitter connects.

Any suggestions? I need to hurry up and fix this so my 8 year old can break it again.

Cheap charger problems?

I've got an Amazon Special charger and six 5200mAh batteries. It will charge three at 5.2A and won't go above 1.0A on the others no matter what settings I put in.

"Custom" minis for kid's campaign

Tiny DM is 10 and wanted everyone to make their own minis. We tried these out and had a great time. Highly recommended.

How do you size your batteries properly?

Speaking of capacity anyways. I bought some 5200mAh hard cases because they'd fit in my SCX10.3 Base Camp but I went on a 1.6 mile hike today and it was still at 12.0V when I finished. That's probably a good bit of extra weight I don't need up high. I'll add that I'm a newb so maybe everything is fine.

First upgrades?

I wasn't planning on buying a new crawler today but here we are. Brushless conversion first right?

Player suddenly showing up drunk

My group has been together for three years and we play every week with very few exceptions. We're at the end of the Hexblade's major story arc and he's showed up drunk to two out of the last three sessions. Both time he kept insisting he was fine. I eventually booted him off the Discord and we just cancelled the session because he can't really have a big showdown with his evil father if he's not here and everything I had prepped revolved around that.

How should I handle this? He apologized the first time but this week he still insists he was okay and we're all over reacting. His speech and text were unintelligible. He's a close friend to all of us but there's got to be a limit somewhere.

SCX10 Base Camp - Wheel Wobble

This is brand new, out of the box today, and it started wobbling the moment I turned it on. I'm new to crawlers. How much of a problem is this and how do I fix it?

I made a 25-room dungeon map but the doors I chose were too close to the color of the walls to be easily seen after I applied the fog on Owlbear. I, amazingly, asked what I should make the doors look like so they'd be more visible (hidden doors not included). Behold, the big chonky derpy orange cat doors that don't undermine this being a life-or-death dungeon in any way. Just sharing my pain.

I'm a basher trying to get into crawling. Specifically trail crawling through the Pacific Northwest so it gets steep and muddy at times. I'd like something readily upgradeable and repairable. I was thinking 1/10 just based on the size of some of the roots and rocks on the trails, and scale accuracy isn't something I'm concerned about. Any suggestions? I've been looking at Axial because my bashers are all Arrma so my batteries and stuff would all work, but that's not a requirement. Budget is roughly $500 but a bit flexible. I'm also open to kits I have to assemble. Thanks!

My players rescued an enslaved genie I thought for sure they'd kill and it offered them a wish. The cleric blurted out that she wished for a million gold. No other details provided. I had a lot of fun ideas like, the money was deposited into a high interest savings account in her name, but in Sigil... or 100M copper rained down from the sky and crushed everyone, etc. Instead the genie said she'll find 1g every day in her pocket, forever, and recommended she look into necromancy if she wishes to collect the entire fortune.

Can this be abused somehow? I thought way too late of doing the Time Warp with the Feywild and inheriting a fortune but my party is clever. If there's an exploit, they'll find it.
