We'd be better off fighting for more ownership of digital games rather trying to keep physical around

I know it hurts to hear but not every problem is solved by going back to how things used to be.

Whats a character that you actually really like, but you express it by constantly making fun of them

For me, its tim drakes Robin. I actually think he's a really cool character. But at the same time, tim drake being the most forgotten Robin is also really funny. "Nobody cares about tim drake"

How to close the gap between creativity and skill?

I've always wanted to draw. I've spent the majority of my analyzing, critiquing, and studying my favorite works and artist. And I've spent a similarly long time coming up with my own ideas that I've grown passionate towards.

The problem is that I've only started drawing within the past 5 years. Almost none of my knowledge actually helps me improve so everything I draw just looks like garbage compared to what I've cooked up in my head.

I've tried drawing daily, watching tutorials, and sketching from reference but have only seen mild improvement. So now I'm stuck in this cycle of feeling motivated to draw every month or so, hating what I make for a few days, and putting the pen down till the next spark of motivation.

I know everyone just says you just got to keep at it but it feels like I'm constantly letting myself down. Idk, I want to be great but maybe it doesn't have to be in the arts. But I'm willing to hear solutions.

The dark fantasy and souls-like genres need to take a LONG break

Seriously, developers have be reheating fromsofts leftovers for far too long. Half of these Geoff showcases are filled with dim and Grey dark fantasy action rpgs with a roll and parried centered combat system. I know elden ring is an incredibly popular game but it gets to a point yall.

This game made me understand why I dislike souls-likes(in a good way)

I've tried games like elden ring or silksong but they always end with my frustrated and having less fun as I play. It's not necessarily because their hard but I couldn't put my finger on it. That was until I started mina the hollower. At launch I was experiencing similar frustrations. Until I swallowed my pride and turned of losing all your bones on death. And suddenly everything becomes 100x more fun again. I guess I just never enjoyed the losing all your currency as a punishment. For me it just it just added the right amount of stress and irritation to an already difficult genre. Thanks mina the hollower.
