Seems birds were fed up with heat as well
Was capturing Metro in the rain but birds made the view a lot better. Captured from Business Bay Yerwada

I work at a prominent Investment Bank and this is what I noticed in the past couple of years.
People take the office coffee mugs on their desk and keep hoarding them and eventually after couple of hours, we don't have any cups to use. I see 2-3 used cups on the desk of people till evening. Some greater souls don't even keep it back at the end of the day. Even in Pantry/breakout area, some lle people drink tea/coffee and leave it there after they are done.
Chairs: We have one chair for one desk with spare chairs in conference rooms/breakout area. But if there are more people, they sit beside their colleage. No issue. But they take the chair of someone who is on the break, instead of taking common chairs from conference room/sitout area. Even if someone take those extra chairs, they don't keep it back in that area at the end of the day.
Lift: We have 3 Parking floors with most rush at ground level. During peak time, when lifts are full, the oversmart people , who need to go up, take the lift which is going down. So now the lifts, which are supposed to stop 3 times on 3 floors, now stops 5 times (both while going up and down) eventually carrying the same no if people. It piles up the crowd and people think they are smart by taking downwards lift. Also as soon as lift arrives, people disregard who arrived before them and just try to go in first as if their time is more important.
Spitting of chewing gum in urinals: disgusting and tells about their upbringing.
Charger. I keep my mobile charger in office on the seat where I generally sit (I come early so always get that seat). People take it with to charge their phones. Fine. But once they are done, they don't even return it back. If I need it, I need to search in all nearby desk where the charger is. I mean if your phone battery is weak, they why not buy a charger for yourself for 500rs and keep with you.
Ok enough ranting. I know nobody would improve until unless you penalize or shame them.
Nexon 22 owner. I renewed iRA once and probably used it couple of times either to lock/unlock vehicle remotely or to track the car during Tata service home pickup option. But I liked the assurance that if someone force open the vehicle it sent alert and had the option of engine immobilizer.
So confused between paying 2.5k per year for peace of mind, and frugal me trying to save the most and skipping it. Not able to decide.
Over last couple of year, tried many monthly colored contacts available for my power (-5.5). Issue was rha that they irritated me an dafter removal, the eyes didn't feel good. So couldn't wear any lenses for couple of days.
Yesterday tried Bausch & Lomb Lacelle Monthly and they were perfect. They are also cheap (₹1000 / $10).
The only issue is that there are no detailed images to check them before buying. So you have to gamble with color options. Tried Pure Hazel, which is a bit lighter for my skin tone. Would try others over the months.
Seeing Tall and Short people meetup, I am planning for chubby people meetup. Anyone more than 100kgs can join. Let me know how many are interested. Will plan accordingly.
Started for office in morning by bike, and was thinking about few of my normal problems (office/personal) and listening to songs. Saw a guy driving cycle on Nagar road in middle lane with decent speed matching nearby bikes. He was in a Swiggy shirt and carrying Swiggy cube bag. I thought he is driving in summer and probably driving fast to meet a delivery timeline. So I thought I would approach him from left and ask him to hold my hand or my bike and would take him ahead. Or would ask him to sit on my bike and roll his cycle in parallel.
As soon as I reached near his left side, I noticed that he was missing his left hand and holding his cycle with only his right hand. I felt so guilty suddenly for thinking about my petty problems a few seconds back and continued driving. I thought of offering him money but then I thought he might feel small as he is working hard and honest for his earnings. Who am I to take his self respect.
Spent the rest of the day humbled and rethinking about life and realizing how lucky I was to be born in a lower middle class family with perfect health which gave me a head start in life. Not everyone is as lucky.
Yesterday found him sleeping right in front of a wine shop with a decent footfall. Tried talking to him but he ignored me like the money ignored my bank account. After a few calls, he lifted his head but went back to sleep again.
Looking at his size (not fat shaming), seems he is well fed and they way he was sleeping, it seems he didn't care about the crowd at all.
You might remember seeing pic of this dog in a poor condition last week by someone in the group. They told first that they found this dog with homeless people and would take care of it. Next day they posted about naming him Kaju and getting him medicines (but no new dog pics). Next day, in few other groups they asked for donations about raising 50k INR for transporting the dog to Pune. I also found a fund raiser with same dog photo and few others with 1500 USD.
When I question it, they got offended and gave generic statements. I asked them to put latest photos of the dog with date proof so others believe it too. They got defensive again.
Why I suspected a scam
New reddit account.
UPI and account name different.
Fundraiser with huge amount and same dog photo visible there.
No new photo of dogs in 3 days and using same pictures.
Anyways I thought may be I am wrong and if they posted new photo of dogs, may be they are genuine. So I checked about new post and found old posts deleted and user deleted as well.
So please be careful before believing anything you see. I am not sure how the fundraiser is related to it so I am not going to dig further.
Hope this doesn't stray (pun intended) us away from supporting genuine caretakers and feeders. Who all are doing it, more power to you guys.
Wish you all and the innocent animals a happy and healthy life.
Got a free upgrade to first row with good legroom on Indigo, as our previous seat's seatbelt was not long enough (fat people problem) and the extender is not allowed on the emergency row. Now enjoying the legroom for next 1.5 hrs.
I am in Kanpur for a function and wife insisted on going to see Ganga Ghat in the evening. Coincidentally it was evening aarti time. Found these cuties enjoying at the ghat during aarti.
