Fake-Entries on tmdb

I'm monitoring movies from certain directors/actors.

In the last two days my watchlist was FLOODED with Verity-related spam-entries ("Fifty Shades of V-rity", "V-rity or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb", etc.) that were FULL of a lot of A-list actors and directors - apparently in order to put it onto as many watchlists like mine as possible.

Is this some absolutely sketchy marketing-campaign that tries to place the name of the movie in as many spots as possible in some sort of gaslighting-attempt? Or what is up with this?

I just started this kind of monitoring a couple of months ago and this is the first time I've seen something like this - is this more common or actually the first time something like that happened?

Has anyone any kind of insight in this phenomenon?

Removing certain part of Album/Song-Title for last.fm?

Roon messes up my sync-history and requires a lot of manual fixing on lastfm/musicbrainz as it synchronizes the " (Album Version)" or " (Remaster XYZ)" part of the Album or Songtitle - and both of those services struggle a lot with those as it's not a perfect match.

Is there a way to get roon to "play nice" with those scrobbling-services?

I think it's nice that roon gives you the option to see and select which song version you're playing - but for those social-sync-services I think it's more important to have an accurate match to band/album/song than to include the version of those as well.

Multiple VPNs?

Right now I have a docker container with a VPN that provides it's connection to the other services.

I thought about adding a VPN connection on the host system to basically create a multihop over different providers. Would that work?

As far as I understood the one inside the docker should be the "better" one as that's the one that's exposed first and the one on host would only see the VPN-encrypted traffic anyway? How about port forwarding? That should only be necessary on the one inside docker, too - or is there something I'm missing?

What are the disadvantages to do that (other than the lower speed)? Could I actually add risk of exposure if just one of them is compromised?

Or would it be smarter to spin up another docker and route the traffic through that one?

How do people find new artists through Plexamp?

I'm currently on roon but since I have a Plex server running anyway I thought I'd include my music-library and check out Plexamp.

While the app itself looks very sleek and great for strictly local music I don't see the option to include a streaming-source for Music that you haven't yet discovered.

I found some posts about Tidal and how that integration was removed but couldn't find what replaced it (if any).

For me one of the main points of using a music-app is to find new artists that are similar to the ones I'm listening to - is there really no way to do that with Plexamp?

So is the only way to find new music is putting random Albums into your library just for the chance that it might be to your taste?

Subcategories on alternate WebUIs and 3rd party clients?

Is there ANY 3rd-party interface that's supporting Sub-categories?

I have a Setup like "Active", "Active/Category1", "Active/Category1/Disk1", "Active/Category1/Disk2", "Active/Category2/Disk1" and when the Torrents are finished they move to "Finished/Category1/..." etc.

etc. that I use with Automate Torrent Management. In the native App I can select "Active" and it shows me all torrents below that - no matter if they are paused, stopped, with error, rechecking or whatever as it aggregates all the categories below.

With 3rd-party UIs (I like "qBitController" on Android or the "cjratliff"-WebUI) "Active" is shown as having 0 torrents, same as the "Active/Category1" - and only in the lowest category-level you actually have torrents listed. This makes filtering to get a fact overview kind of annoying.

Is this just not possible with the API that's provided? Or why does it seem to be such a problem?

Lidl Produktauswahl (vegane Produkte)
