(I know the solder job is extremely bad, was my first time, I have redone it though previously and it's not as messy as the image I shared)

I've already took apart the controller again so I have to edit these images just to show what's happening when I check it on gamepad tester.

It drifts slightly to the left at about -0.5 on the X axis. And doesn't go to the right at all even when I press it. But up, down, and even clicking it works.

Now what's weird is I've realised when I press the back of the soldering of the joystick, right where the potentiometer is. It goes all the way to -1

I've tried 2 different potentiometers, so it can't be them. So is it a soldering problem? Or a power issue maybe? It's really puzzled me

Thanks for any help!

I swapped the joystick sensors in an OG Xbox one controller, and soldered them. But I tested it. The joystick works. Apart from up and down. BUT I noticed that it's very slowly moving upwards. Is that a solder issue?

It's a very messy solder as it's my first time properly soldering something. But like I said, the rest of the joystick works, even the clicking.

Thanks for any help!

Whenever someone starts to irritate/anger/nag me. I tend to rub my ear quite aggressively. Like a way of stopping myself from lashing out. Does anyone do this?

I used to bite the inside of the lip. But that was more obvious. So I switched to rubbing my ear as from someone else's pov. It probably just looks like I'm scratching it. It's usually my right ear. Probably cause I'm right handed so it just is more natural for me to use my right hand on my right ear.

Just wondering if anyone else does this. Or something similar?

Probably getting admitted back into the ED team after over a year or so. I Feel like a failure

I have ARFID (wanted to point that out just for context) I was so so close to recovery and getting to a healthy weight and I felt so confident in myself and how I looked. And it just went down hill over the course of the past year and a half. I used to say things like "I'd be much better off without the ED team nagging me. I'd recover much more quickly and I don't need them"

And now I feel like a failure considering I'm most definitely going back to them as me and my family don't know what else to do. I felt trapped when I was with them. And hadn't been so happy as I was when I got discharged. And I'm gonna be stuck with them again for god knows how long.

Will any game boy cartridge reader that transfers saved games to PC. Also work at transferring photos from the game boy camera?

I've been looking at different cartridge readers and found this one.

I found one called the GB Flash. And it transfers saves. So I'm assuming it works at transferring photos as well.

But I just wanna make sure before I buy one.

Thanks!

First time playing these

Ever since they announced the Ocarina Of Time remake. I have been in the mood for all sorts of old games from Game Boy to 3DS.

Found my original DS Lite though and then picked these up online!

Any other DS games that are a must play?

Was flossing my teeth when I thought I got a big piece of food out. But I don't know what this is

I've got no tooth ache. No bleeding. I had a small filling a few weeks ago. But other than that they said my teeth were healthy. And that I just needed to floss. So is this a filling that's fallen out? Or excess tooth from when they drilled it and didn't wash away properly. It was from the very back of my mouth

It was one piece when it fell out. But kinda crumbled in my hand.

I want to play 358/2 days. But all of the English copies are double the price of the Japanese copy. But I don't speak Japanese. Will I still be able to play it relatively easily? e.g navigating the menus?

I don't mind the cutscenes being in Japanese as I can always watch them on YouTube , but I remember most cutscenes from the "movie" anyways. I'm more worried about looking at items, and weapon stats etc. and navigating the menus. Will I be able to locate stuff somewhat easily? Or is it worth it just for me to pay double for an English copy?

Thanks for the help!
