I feel like she gets a bad rap. A lot of people make her out to be entirely self-serving by not physically fighting back against Buddy. But there’s more to her than that.

She’s an abused woman who is trapped in a world that literally bends to the whims of her abuser. Most likely never even having left the grounds of the clubhouse. She has no one she can trust, because everything around her, from a clock on the wall to a flower in the garden could snitch her out to her abuser if she ever dropped her mask. So she’s chosen to stay on Buddy’s good side 24/7 to save herself from harm. It’s her one defense. And she tries to use that defense to protect the kids.

Most of her screen time is spent trying to keep as many of the kids safe as possible. When Freddy comes to her and tells her about Buddy trying to kill Wade, she breaks character for just a second with that “what”, before trying to get Freddy to let it go so she won’t be next. And when Buddy goes dark and starts rampaging, she doesn’t sell the kids out or gather them together to hug Buddy so she can be safe. She makes sure they’re inside the relative safety of the clubhouse before she goes outside alone to try can calm Buddy down herself. Even when in imminent danger she never betrayed the kids’ hiding spot.

Is she a perfect protector/guardian? Not by a long shot. But at the end of the day she was a very traumatized person doing the best with what she knew, and she tried to extend her only means of self-preservation to the kids.

I will occasionally break the fourth wall within scenes. Not anything major like mugging to the audience after saying something funny.But more like referencing something unusual in the venue or a line the host said. It usually goes over well, but I’m wondering if it’s a cheap tactic or frowned upon to do

I’m in kind of a desperate situation and I don’t see a way out. I’m disabled, poor, and the only low paying job I’ve been able to get hasn’t even been keeping me afloat. I’ve had to resort to using credit cards to supplement myself, and I know I can’t live this way forever.

Are there any programs that would offer free training for sit down jobs? Due to my disability, I can’t stand for very long, so I would need to sit. I don’t care at all about what field it’s in. I just need something to help me survive and pay off my debt.

Why did she go through 3 days of work instead of just transforming Ariel into a polyp as soon as she came into her lair? If she just hid her polyp form somewhere that would crush a full sized Ariel if she reverted back to being human, she would’ve had the same amount of leverage over Triton as she did with the contract. And without any of the work.

Is she only able to transform someone with consent?

I’m thinking of moving to Los Angeles, and I would love to get into the improv scene there, but I’m not sure how to do it outside of taking the leveled classes at one of the theaters and getting to know people through that.

My issue is that I’ve been doing improv for a few years now, and I’ve already done the basic course at two separate improv schools. So I’m not super eager to spend a bunch of money relearning something I’m already fairly competent at. Is there any way for me to break into the scene without doing that?

To be clear, I’m not saying I want to go to LA and immediately be working with big names. I just mean being able to attend jams, put on shows, and finding a place in the LA improv community so I can start making a name for myself.

Do you try to find deeper character motivations? Or do you predominantly just try to serve the game of the sketch? And are there any other differences you’ve noticed between these two types of acting?

I’m trying to make my first t-shirt, and I want it to be a very loud, 80s neon theme. But I can’t find any good neon fabric anywhere online. I’m basically trying to make the body of the shirt neon pink, the sleeves neon blue, and the neckline neon green.

I’ve been considering getting the pass for a while, but I just wanted to feel out what current and past members think about it. And I had a couple of questions:

I personally like the idea of spontaneous trips, but the 24 hour ticket window scares me. Have you guys have had an easy time booking return flights within that timeframe?

How is the selection of flights? It says you have access to 100+ airports, but is that really true?

And could you consistently find tickets to the same cities? Like if I wanted weekly trips to NYC or LA, would that be reasonable to expect?

I like graphic tees but I hate feeling like a walking billboard for a brand, but most tall graphic tees are just band names, tv show characters, car brands etc.

When I was younger and shorter I would order shirts from Threadless, which would commission designs from artists. But they don’t have tall sizes, so I couldn’t shop there after my growth spurt, so I’ve been out of luck in adulthood.

Are there any websites that sell tall-sized graphic tees with a similar vibe to threadless?

For a frame of reference, how powerful do you think they would be compared to the Gokage (minus Tsunade) or the Akatsuki.

I know that they’re aware on a mental level that they’re fairytale characters, but we never really engaged with the fact that bastardized versions of their life stories are basically mandatory viewing for kids in the real world. I wouldn’t loved an episode of them doing a movie night and griping about the inaccuracies of their movie counterparts

I’m trying to upgrade my style, but it seems that nowhere is selling interesting clothes for tall men. Department stores are mostly relaxed fit jeans, Hawaiian shirts, and business clothes, but I want to build more a unique aesthetic.

Where are you guys getting stuff?

I’m trying to be more conscious of my cholesterol, and I’m realizing how reliant I am on heavy cream. So I was just wondering if there are any healthier alternatives I could use. Especially if they’re not super expensive.

When I had my colors done and was found to be a winter, I was excited to fill my closet with clothes in my season. But apart from white and black I can’t really find anything in season at stores.

Men’s sections in department stores seem to be filled with neutrals and warm colors. Does anyone have any suggestions for places that sell more vibrant, cool-toned clothing?

I’m a very tall man, and I’ve never been able to find “cool” clothing in the big and tall sections of stores. The options are always very limited and more tailored to hiding large bodies. There are no interesting colors or cuts of clothing. It’s mostly just business casual clothing or loose-fit T-shirts and relaxed-fit jeans. All of which are in neutral or autumn colors palettes.

Are there any stores that sell more varied clothing for tall men? I’m not looking to be a paragon of fashion or anything. But I want to start forming a style that looks more unique than (bland tall guy in loose pants).
