Slate Supercab

Slate Supercab

I think the proportions look better on this one, something is slightly off about the regular cab.

That being said, it would probably cost another $5k.

Detergent applicator

I've had this for like 20 years. I use it to apply fabric detergent directly to shirt collars due to them being slightly brown/oily. This preserves the collars and shirt. I would like something that is refillable with a cap and uses a roller ball same as this.

Everything I can find uses felt and is called a "paint dauber" or similar, I can't find anything similar to what I described. I suppose I could try that, but would like an actual roller ball (similar to large ball point pen) if it can be found.

Does anyone know of something similar out there and what it's called?

ISO 3", 4-6 lb mattress foam topper

  • Purchased a Sealy "Irresistible" CF MF mattress approximately 15 years ago
  • Individually pocketed coils
  • Firm mattress, very little padding, no divots or dips
  • Added a 4 lb 3" foam memory topper and mattress cover at same time
  • After 15 years, foam has started to break down

We purchased the firm mattress and added a foam topper because the salesman told us that the wear points on a mattress is the filling/stuffing on top. The coils wear against it and wear it down. So figured we could just replace the topper every few years. Similar to vehicles, your struts wear but the springs are perfectly fine (so this tracks).

Well, every few years has morphed into 15. Thinking it's time (see pics). The foam has stared to break down even using a waterproof topper, as body oil has worked its way into it.

Looking to add something similar, we paid a decent price back then ($300 IIRC 15 years ago) so not expecting it to be cheap. But cheaper and better (environmentally speaking) than buying a new mattress altogether.

Amazon is a mess now, and you don't know what you are getting. So reaching out here for some recs from the pros.

We want a firm 4-6 lb (per sq ft) ~3" topper (or similar) to add on top, just like we've had for the past 15 years.

Can someone (Realtor, seller, etc) walk me through the logic here?

House has been listed on and off for 18 months, price was dropping, they re-listed, then took off market and increased price...

Greenworks 1.8 gpm pressure washer just stopped pressurizing

EDIT: Solved, pressure switch is working but unloader valve to pressure switch is bad, was stuck in "up" position killing the pump. Looks like an o-ring from the pump itself came apart and wedged itself in there.

Used it 3x, brought it out today, did one car it sat for about 20 mins and went to use again and dead.

Tried resetting the power switch, the plug GFCI, tried a different outlet. Pump power light is green, it has power, just won't run at all.

Thinking it had overheated (it hadn't) I ran cool water through the unit for several minutes, then waited 30-45 mins to try again. Nothing....

Anyone else have this randomly happen? I bought it back in Feb, so just bought another unit and will put this dead one back in box and return, but still a hassle.

This is my second electric pressure washer, first was a Sunjoe that died after 12 months, I barely got my $80 out of it. I've had a Generac gas one for like 10+ years just a huge PITA to use, but it starts up every year to do my house. Re-thinking this electric pressure washer thing.

How to remove distilled water stain on headliner?

I blotted a small amount of distilled water on my headliner. It left a stain, not sure why. Is there a way to remove it and not create another stain?

12th gen has crapped the bed, what did I do?

UPDATE: I removed the keyboard and pulled out the ram and the small internal battery, and let it rest 3-5 mins. Buttoned everything back up and I'm good to go!

I have a FW13 12th gen that I got new. I have been using a new 5k2k monitor on it and it's running a little warm so wanted to turn on fans on high to prevent thermal throttling.

I downloaded Fan Control:
https://getfancontrol.com

Which then had me download MS .NET framework.

It kept wanting to install more stuff so I bailed, and uninstalled both programs. Laptop is at a literal crawl, it feels 15 years old.

Did a complete 100% reformat and reinstall of W11, deleting all partitions. Still incredibly slow.

What did I do, and how to fix? I've had to type this
on my phone because the computer is unusable.

As a frame of reference it's been about 15 mins and still only on step 4 of 13 of the FW drivers. Edit update: it never got past step 4.

Three year old laptop gets slow all the time when just using browser

For some reason no images allowed so here is a screen shot:

I have it open now and fan runs basically nonstop, and it gets super slow. I don't even watch pron on it, no sketchy downloads or anything. Just bascially reddit, a car forum and playing Krunker, a browser game.

Edit: I've just played Krunker.io for about 5 minutes and it has gotten super slow and stuttery. It's basically unusable and even hard to type this out. This is where I'm at:

Curious if anyone is stocking up on motor oil due to potential shortage?

I have 28 qts now, that will do 5x oil changes plus a little extra for burn on my three vehicles, enough through Sept 2028. Hoping things are normalized by then.

Six year old Rheem electric water heater not producing hot (lukewarm) water; Ohm'd heater elements and both are 13Ω.

  • 6 year old Rheem electric water heater producing lukewarm water
  • Both heater elements check at ~13Ω
  • 240v is getting to the elements

Should I replace elements anyways? Or is it something else? Everything is original; previous AO Smith lasted 15+ years with no maintenance...

Why are prices different when ordering?

All I did was click "add".

Also, ordering on the desktop site, rewards do not appear. Rewards appear when ordering on the phone/mobile site.

I know the ones with multiple pins can short out, but are these pretty safe to use?
