Bought a job lot of Legend of Zagor board game parts and one of the items was a badly painted two-part Zagor (the warlock of Firetop Mountain) which I’ve just finished stripping in an ultrasonic tub with isopropyl. He now lives on my Fighting Fantasy shelf, guarding my books 1 to 3 slipcase!
Managed to hunt down this booklet from my childhood. From Sinclair User #35.
These are beer mats from Fighting Fantasy Fest 5 & 6, showing both the obverse and the reverse sides.

Wow. Had a ZX Spectrum as a kid but this one passed me by completely. It looks like an obvious reskin of the manic Halls of the Things.

I noticed this on my first watch, that all the corpses seem to be inexplicably dressed in blue. Brown from being dragged in mud but blue? Is this an allusion to something, like a massacre of blue-uniformed people? Nothing springs to mind though.

Got the three 80th Anniversary sets 72282 (silver original), 72283 (cream classic) and 72284 (cyan iconic) plus I saw 71621 (green Sprint Veloce) and got that too.
Last picture shows 71622 (navy Sprint Veloce) that I already had added.
The instructions rather unwisely suggest that the lady of the green scooter should put her purse in the basket along with the two cartons. I can see that jumping out over a bump or pothole and getting lost.
I think I’ll name them, give them backgrounds and send them off on little adventures.
Already buckled and bought the paperback of Tomb of the Golden Skull from Amazon. Only spent a modest £105.
Got all six and they’re pretty immaculate. Character Sheets untouched by the pencils of eager adventurers!

Collected a ton of sea glass and had a couple of enquiries. Got a fun noughts and crosses pattern and what looks to be a Newlands’ Pine Disinfectant bottle complete with pine tree decoration!
Found some nice frosted pieces and was chuffed to find a couple of blue pieces with the bigger one being frosty. I’d say I never find blue pieces but i found last time i went to the beach. Maybe I’m on a roll? O_o

This is my curated haul as I got rid of pieces that weren’t frosted enough and although smooth just looked like broken glass (about a quarter). Was thrilled to find two blue pieces at opposite ends of the beach, although the smaller piece isn’t really frosted so will recycle that but just wanted to show them off as I never ever find blues.
Found a brown piece but wasn’t frosted, sadly. Strange grey piece too. This isn’t curated, as a lot of pieces weren’t frosted but just what I found. Got a few necks and bottle bases too. Another piece of that solid green ceramic tile; that’s four times in a row now!
…I think she’s lovely and always enjoy seeing her. She had a smashing fun dress on tonight too. Any other fans of her?
Just found out that the Fighting Fantasy audio dramas are on Audible for ~£5 a pop. I’ve got these on CD but may get them too. What also interests me is Titan. Again, I have the book but think it would be an interesting listen. Does anybody know if it has chapters or do you just have to fast forward to the part you want? (This is more expensive at £15 though.)
