Spectrum Amazon Prime perk

I noticed the offer on the spectrum website today and I hit the get started button. I got a refund of $42.43 for the remainder of the yearly subscription I had with Amazon and Spectrum took over the billing.

I had a question about stacking offers

I was at the store yesterday, and I saw that they had posters all over regarding a deal that said you can get $100 off if you trade in to upgrade your device in general.

I was shopping for an iPhone 17 pro max which currently has a $200 off with a trade in.

Would these offers stack to get $300 off the new phone? The attendant said that they don’t.

Recently added T-Mobile Satellite as a secondary eSIM while on vacation from work.

My only concern was what the in office performance was going to be like compared with Google Fi Wireless.

I work in an office in a school campus, and my cellphone service has been spotty with Spectrum Mobile(Verizon) and US mobile(AT&T) before that. So much concrete and metal in the buildings plays havoc with signal quality. Google Fi performed a bit better but I didn’t like the price.

Without reservation, I can say that T-Mobile satellite is performing much better than Fi wireless ever was which’ll save me around $40/ month.

I doubt that I’ll ever switch to T-Mobile’s postpaid service, but as long as t-satellite is available at this price point, I’ll subscribe to it.

T-Mobile fiber working on aerials near my neighborhood. Is it wishful thinking that we get FTTH within a year?

We’ve only ever had Spectrum Cable broadband which is now up to 1gbps and AT&T with their dsl at 18mbps.

I just want more competition for Spectrum and to light a fire under AT&T to upgrade from DSL to fiber.

I just turned on Dolby Vision on my new LG C5 and holy moly what a difference from vanilla 4k hdr!

I had kept it off on this tv because I found DV to look terrible on my old TCL 751g so I figured it’d be the same on this tv.

I was wrong.

Over the weekend, I signed up for the $10 T-Mobile satellite plan. I just started getting text messages from a company called securacheck out of the blue.

Is this T-Mobile or a scam?

It doesn’t mention T-Mobile at all.

Google TV Streamer 4k $50 deal

I was able to use a $50 off coupon from the Play Store. The deal was just too good to pass up. The only negative is that delivery is estimated to be between July 9 and 13.

To me, the new chicken sandwich is a disappointment. I’m glad I got a coupon on this subreddit to get it only for the price of a medium drink & fries.

I much prefer the burger LTO which just left.

This one is just the potato bun, chicken patty, spicy sauce and the cheese spread. I don’t think you can do much to improve this LTO with the usual add-ons that Whataburger offers.

At least it wasn’t dry.

I’ve had my C5 for over a week now, and I’m more than pleased with it!

Other than tuning down the brightness from 100 to 60, turning off trumotion & power saving, and tuning sharpness to 0, I haven’t done any in depth calibration.

Sports, mostly soccer, looks great. YouTube videos look great too.

ABL hasn’t been as heavy handed as I feared it would be. I have only noticed it when I pause a program and walk away for a bit. Otherwise, it doesn’t interfere with my normal viewing experience.

I haven’t connected this tv to the internet at all. I use my trusty Apple TV from 2021 which still works great.

The one thing I can’t comment on is game performance because I haven’t played any games on it even though I have my PS5 connected to it. Perhaps someday I’ll have the inclination to play some games.

Received my 65in C5 today

Out of the box, it came with the fw in the pic.

I haven’t messed with the settings other than to turn off power saving and lower the brightness from 100 to 60.

I’m using my Apple TV as I don’t have my tv connected to the internet.

I did notice that watching anime on Crunchyroll is not as smooth as on my old TCL tv. The Spectrum TV app is hit or miss depend on the channel I tune it to. The UFL football game looked pretty good, but I’m more interested in how the English Premier League games are going to display tomorrow.

Any suggestions for sports settings especially for soccer matches? TIA

One thing I've noticed that I'm happy about is, when I power on the apple TV, the LG powers on as well. My old TV wouldn't do this ever since I added a Sonos Beam and sub to my setup.
