I’ve read nothing to fear by hospice nurse Julie but that deals w the active dying process. Is there any books that deal w before that specifically for dementia or ftd? She’s getting assessed on Thurs and I didn’t sleep well the last few nights since hearing it. She’s in memory care so taken care of but still. It’s difficult and my siblings are assholes.
Particularly for someone possibly entering hospice next week. She already had an anointing in March but want her to get to heaven.
They visit etc but then what happens at end of life? Do they then transfer to a hospice facility?
What does that mean? 6 mo or less? She’s in memory care so she’s monitored anyway and on Medicaid but what do I need to know?

I worked in a commercial kitchen while going to school and it was ok - would have been better w better people. It was good, you guys work hard. Did you all go to school or learn on the job? Would you do it again knowing what you now know? Is it the crew that makes it or the work?

She’s clearly demonstrating blocking techniques and she knows I know what she’s doing. She’s also tried to report me to hr to no emotions coming from me even after she knows I found out. Is it no reaction whatsoever at this point as well as documenting her immature behavior.
Not pre or diabetic but happened after a high carb meal yesterday been low carb for about a week now. Am I fat adapted? Or just a shock to the system?

Before we came to the faith again we were sterilized and now I regret it. What brought us to it was we had a miscarriage on bc (again before we came to Catholicism), so we thought we’d sterilize to eliminate the possibility of abortion or going through it. At the time it made sense. Now? Huge mistake clearly. I regret it but spouse doesn’t totally regret it as it does make life easier but we’re not necessarily called to an easy life - and vocation. We’ve confessed it (I think they have), but it’s hard. I asked a priest about it and he said spiritual motherhood or fatherhood was the way to go now, to keep nurturing. Is this our purgatory? Still newer in the faith - less than 5 years back.
Also are both genders impressed upon the importance of family and having the openness to life and the sacrifice that comes with it w marriage? Because my spouse didn’t seem to get that part and wouldn’t have helped in rearing kids. That also makes things complicated as I didn’t want to do it by myself. Maybe that’s wrong as well?
So here’s something I’ve always wondered about - with the hanta virus about, thought I’d ask. Why did Trump disparage medical professionals when he was part of operation warp speed supposedly? Imo if he’d had our backs it would have gone much better than it did. And yes it was as bad as the news reported in most areas, most people just didn’t care enough (from a front line worker standpoint).
