My last two flights on southwest. No WiFi. Cant connect. Not working.

Flight attendants say it doesn’t work until the door is closed but we take off and it still doesn’t work. We tell them. They say there’s nothing they can do.

Southwest used to provide great value for fliers. Now it’s just excuses and higher prices.

Very annoyed this evening.

It would be nice to have an error message in red background and black font that shows up when you start your ride if Rouvy detects a zero heart rate

I feel like Facebook could do sellers a solid favor by adding a “terms negotiable” tag to every listing. I would turn that off for every single listing. Every single thing I list people come back with crazy low ball offers or trades or they want me to deliver it to them. No no no. I put my terms in the item description. If those are not agreeable to you please don’t contact me about my listing and waste everyone’s time.

I’m selling my XBox because I don’t use it anymore but I still need to have MSFS. I have a Legion 5 gaming laptop to use going forward.

I use MSFS to create short flyover videos of cities around the world for my wife’s preschool class and they seem to really love it.

1. Do I stick with 2020 or move on to 2024?

2. Am I going to have issues recording the streams?

Xbox makes it super easy with broadcast to twitch and then export to YouTube.

This is a disaster for the defending champs now that most of the portal dust has already settled.

This app doesn’t handle multiple data sources well at all.

I turned on all the Apple health permissions then had to add strava because it’s not getting heart rate data from the Apple workouts.

And now even though both are synced it still shows zero strain for my 2 hour bike ride.

These are the very first ANC headphones I've ever worn. I'm sitting at my desk at work and there's some normal ambient noise - HVAC is going, my office fridge just kicked on, the building "hums" a bit.

But you turn on ANC and the entire world just disappears. For someone who occasionally gets a little stressed out, that is a rather wild piece of escapism. I felt like that commercial starring Pedro Pascal was a bit of overkill - I think I'm starting to get it now.

Even with no music or no podcast playing, the world is just entirely silent. It really feels like a magic trick.

Longtime iPhone user, first time using AirPods

took me a minute to find the touch sensitive pad on the front of the stem - still getting used to all the various gestures.

So I've tried the press and hold on the stem and I think I'm hearing an acknowledgement chime but I'm not sure and the device I'm listening on doesn't show any changes. Not sure how that is supposed to work. Are there times where it won't change bc I feel like I have experienced that too.

I've never used noise cancellation before so I have no context for what I am or am not supposed to be hearing.

I check all of my bank accounts every single day - I don't need an email that gives me an "update".

This happens every day - I jump on my bike trainer - ride my every day workout, check my Apple Fitness app on my watch and my phone and nothing. Open Strava and all of a sudden all my Apple Fitness notifications spring to life.

Why can't it sync without me having to touch it?

I’m so sick of changing the battery of this thing that I barely ever use but seems to be dead every time I actually want to use it.

Who has any kind of rechargeable option that works with Apple TV ? I almost don’t even care how much of a Frankenstein it is.

My old boss is the only person I actually know in real life who rides on Rouvy. It just so happens that we ride at the same time every day.

But if you're asking either one of us to set up an event and then send invites and then wait for the person to connect... you're crazy.

There should be a button when I log in that says "Join Friend" and poof I go straight into his world where he is at and please turn on the elastic option because he rides a good 30W faster than I do on average.

It should be just that easy and yes there should be a switch to prevent that if I don't want people auto - joining on me.

Sunday morning. Quiet house. 8 month old puppy is completely asleep on my lap.

How long am I staying here?

I tend to drink cheap wine during the week and then if my wife and I are in the mood we will have a “nicer” bottle on the weekends.

I’ve been drinking a few bottles of TJs carmenere (which is awesome for $5) but the more I drink the more I’m finding I want something lighter.

I used to drink a LOT of beringer Pinot Grigio but that was before I “got into” wine and I’m not sure it would hold up anymore. I used to love costcos PG box but something has changed the past few that I have had where it has a terrible metallic taste to it. Maybe I’m changing who knows.

What do you recommend?

I'm doing my own math in a google sheet and I can't for the life of me figure out how withdrawing 4% of the starting balance every single year would ever deplete the retirement balance.

What am I missing? I know the market isn't going to grow every single year but it's also not going to be flat over 30 years?
