Stories about being Asexual.

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations.

I'm in the process of trying to work out my own asexuality and stories havevalways been an important part of exploring myself.

Unfortunately this area doesnt seem to be a particularly common plot point...

Will PLA creep matter here?

I have these clamps to hang swords from my wall.

I hear about 'PLA creep' and how it slowly deforms over time under load. The clamps are chunky but some swords are a few kg. As soon as they deform they'll fall off. Is that likely to happen with only a few kg load? Is there a calculation for how much material I need to prevent deformation entirely? I struggle to print PETG with my setup.

Not an engineer. Just like swords!

A chap has tried to sell me land three times now.

They knocked down a house outside my school and they have a guy (sometimes 2) outside the plot trying to sell the land and the house they plan to build there! 60 million yen! (Is that a steal in a city?)

The chap has tried to sell it to me three times now but has finally realised I'm not in the market. I would wish him luck with selling to other passer bys but those are for the most part; me, school children and mothers dropping off their kids at day-care. I assume most of these people aren't in the market.

It's August. it's very hot. I assume there must be a better way of selling it that involves less sunburn.

Is this just the Japanese way?

Tomorrow is HERE!

Expedition 33 may have saved the world (Citation needed) and Expedition 60 may be the fan favourites but neither could have done it without Expedition 70. The grapple point expedition! Neither could have climbed the monolith without them.

All expeditions lay the trail for those who come after but none quite like 70.

'Tomorrow comes' is a favourite saying of the Expeditions but in 70's journal they end with 'Tomorrow is here' BECAUSE THEY BROUGHT IT!

I'm not crying. INSPIRATION IS LEAKING FROM MY EYES!

Anyone redesigned the costume to meet parliament requirements?

Our savior can't wear a face covering when he takes his seat. Has anyone redesigned the costume to meet these requirements but keep the bin?

Who to call if I found a potentially interesting bone in my emotional support hole?

Say I'm digging a hole to china (someone asked about this before) and I find an interesting looking bone. Who do I call to check if its a Dinosaur or former monarch rather than like, a dog.

Assuming I have mineral rights, how do I profit from this discovery?

Adept in Mass Effect 3 feels like committing war crimes.

Adept is pretty lame in ME2. I almost considered changing to soldier based on spending most of ME2 using an assault rifle.

However, along comes ME3 and suddenly the poor lads are being shockwaved into a wall, pulled into the sky, exploded and then slammed into another singularity before poor James even gets to pull out his gun.

Give the poor Cerberus goons a chance before being hurled off a cliff.

Good day at Round 1.

Won't all these at the arcade for far fewer yen than you'd think.

The machine was being nice.

Not a single student has touched my belly and shouted "small".

Japan made me into quite the chunky teacher. As is their custom, many JHS students made a habbit of walking over to me, touching my belly and shouting "BIG".

I've slimmed down a lot and I'm still waiting for them to notice and annouce to the school that I am now "SMALL".

I find it quite rude actually.

Why have we decided to let JHS students get so little sleep?

Dunno what things are like at HS or university but my students are seemingly only getting 4-6 hours of sleep a night.

My classes are a mix of weary eyes and sleeping students after they were up till 2am with homework from both school and juku.

This can't possibly be considered a good thing to be doing.

Dreammaxing: how to ride Hollywood Dream the most times in a day.

Me and sone friends went to USJ the other day and rode Hollywood Dream 5 times that day. We did other things but we all agree that was a mistake.

This was a rainy Sunday last week. The posted wait time was between 35 and 80 minutes but was always shorter than posted. The ride did close briefly because of the rain so that is sub-optimal.

Tips and tricks for riding Hollywood Dream as many times as possible besides buying 40 express passes?

This will make a fine date in the future I think.

NATLA would be so much better as a very loose adaptation.

The 2010 movie failed because it tried to compress a lot of story into a very small space, among other reasons.

The live action is being criticised for many things, one of which is butchering the source material and remixing it to save on location costs and cast. Ultimately, the story has to be changed and added to account for not being able to just draw new places every week,

However, a lot of the new stuff is really good. Iroh is greatly improved. The part where the Gaang breaks up in the Ba sing se is really good. The way they changed Tales of Ba Sing Se (the most flexible and best episode of the original show) is incredible. I really like new Sokka.

But they're trying to hammer in parts of the original where they don't fit. This is really bad in season two. They're trying to graft parts of a different story onto it. The information about the day of black sun could have conceivably been kept by the Dai li. But they go to a spirit library in the old show so they need to now. Appa was stolen by Long Fang to make Aang leave the city but he doesn't want to do that in the new show but Appa still gets stolen. Jet is cool but he's also not really needed anymore but still needs to show up and still needs to die. Azula's coup is just so weird now. But it needed to be there! Zuko must leave Iroh so they can reconnect and all fight Azula. In fact Zuko's story feels so much more rushed and hollow because the best bits of it are just being stapled onto a story it doesn't match anymore.

Ultimately, they wanted to re-tell the original and not make a sequel.

THE CORE journey of the show can be summed up as South Pole to North Pole, down to Ba Sing Se, over to the Fire Nation, defeat at the Capital City and retreat, then defeat Ozai (This can even be done in a previous city). On that journey the Avatar must learn the 4 elements and make some friends of every nation while being pursued by an abuse victim trying to recover. That is ultimately all that MUST happen to keep it Avatar.

Keep the core of it and tell the individual stories within it differently. let Katara just be a character suited for the new show instead of some butchered imitation stuck in a show she doesn't fit. Let there be new characters, don't try and shove in everyone from the original.

Let the show be its own thing.

What's the ideal height and width to be for maximum utility and comfort?

I'm a short man. 5 foot 7. Reasonably narrow. I am forever told I should be 6 foot and somewhat wider.

However, I am currently sat quite comfortably between 2 larger fellows on the train that are both somewhat squished.

I can reach the top shelf and also fit comfortably on long haul flights. I could maybe do with being 5 8 so I can make 'average' but not if it involves moving to large shirts. Those are often sold out.

Thoughts?

Shy chaps. I told my friend I fancied her, she said 'cool but no' and I didn't immediately die.

Just a bit of sage wisdom from a soldier on the ground. Spent years thinking direct conversations were a bad plan (not eith her, other people).

It was a shockingly easy conversation to both start and have.

Nothing much happened which is half the point.

Be brave lads! Not only is it not deadly it's not even cringe!
