Something I caught on my second viewing. When Bear first wants to learn the One Wish Willow, he doesn't actually do any research, or do anything like ask the woman at the store, call the customer service number, or even go to the company website. He uses AI so that he doesn't have to put any effort in to his search. It mirrors him using the OWW to begin with instead of actually talking to Nikki and telling her how he feels. In both instances, he does the quick, easy thing instead of putting any work in.

Just a thought
