Thoughts?

Picked these up for $350 today, got them all setup, almost regretting not finding a newer receiver so I could actually use the HDMI outputs for my Apple TV 4K, PS5, etc, due to HDR not being supported with the platform. (HDMI 1.4a only outputs 4k at 30hz).

But in a garage bar, for music and using the tv audio through optical or the ARC output for sporting events. I think I did pretty well.

Hell, maybe I’ll throw all of my older gaming consoles out there since I have 5 accessible HDMI ports to split.

I would like to grab a pair of tower speakers, I still have 2 unused channels.

Update*

Landed myself 25 4x6 inch thick rubber gym flooring (roughly 600sqft) from a recently closed fitness center for 500 bucks!

Pressure washed and surfaced cleaned the garage floor. Close to starting paint prep!

Update*

Landed myself 25 4x6 inch thick rubber gym flooring (roughly 600sqft) from a recently closed fitness center for 500 bucks!

Pressure washed and surfaced cleaned the garage floor. Close to starting paint prep!

And it begins.

Looking for ideas and suggestions for the build process of my new garage bar.

Bought my first home a few months ago, starting the process for my colts themed garage bar.

As of now I have a lot of bottles, a large custom shelf for wine and nice bourbon bottles for behind the bar top, matching shelves for the upper wall behind the bar top, and I plan on putting a 43” tv in the center for game viewing.

I also have a power reclining sofa, entertainment center/tv stand and a blue painted china cabinet for special fragile memorabilia.

And yes, I do plan on getting an actual toolbox not just a shelf. I offloaded all of my tools when I moved out of my apartment to start fresh and keep the same brand and color going, just wanting to be a little more organized living in a new home.

Laundry list as of now:

Finish pressure washing the concrete (was previously used as a vehicle paint booth), and choose a method of flooring, wether that is addressing the cracks and doing a diy epoxy, a large rug, or sourcing those large gym mats and doing the whole floor.

Wiping down the walls and prepping for paint.

Placing the lights on the ceiling in a more pleasing layout and applying another coat of ceiling paint.

Completed Build!

Finally got the last receiver cable for the single exhaust fan, got the fans adjusted for optimal airflow (second picture shows direction). Silly mistake in not buying 5 reverse bladed fans for looks but I still think it came out great!

The only other thing I would do to this build is add that WD SN850x 8tb if it EVER goes back down to MSRP from a stupid price of $1500.

Bar Decor

Found this giant bud light helmet near a trash can at my coworkers place that he was throwing out.

Had a vision, my fiancé printed the vinyl and painted it up, came out sooo good, planning to hang it in my garage bar I’m currently working on!

Anything else you guys would suggest for the build?
