TW: Domestic Violence

This is K Michelle meeting with Rasheeda back on love and hip-hop Atlanta season one where Rasheeda states that K Michelle was lying about her domestic violence relationship with the producer, Memphitz Wright.

Rasheeda and Kandi are very good friends and both of them were friends with Memphitz and his wife Toya at the time. K Michelle and Rasheeda were trying to build a friendship and Rasheeda felt very torn because K Michelle was speaking out against her DV situation and threw a couple of events to celebrate women that have been victims of abuse.

Rasheeda went to those events and would say in her green screen interviews how uncomfortable she was because she is friends with Memphitz, and she didn’t believe that he abused her.

Rasheeda essentially telling K Michelle she didn’t believe she was abused by Memphitz created a beef that lasted for seasons, and the two still to this day don’t like one another. At the reunion for this season, Rasheeda and K Michelle got into a heated verbal altercation that led to Rasheeda, saying she never wanted to attend the events celebrating victims of domestic violence, and calling her a liar and saying she’s lying about getting abused.

Years later Memphitz and Toya did marriage Boot Camp together and Memphitz was exhibiting very violent behavior whenever the two would get into disagreements or heated discussions. Rasheeda still to this day has not apologized to K Michelle even after Memphitz proved himself on camera as someone that has the capacity to be violent towards women.

Kandi is very loyal to her friends to a fault and I don’t ever see her and K Michelle becoming close friends or even cordial due to the nature of K Michelle and Rasheeda‘s beef

And if anyone is wondering what was bleeped when K Michelle said she had text messages it was proof that Memphitz threatened to kill her son.
