I have StarTube on my Mac with the 2022 layout. I have some problems. I have no way to get the 2005 logo that says “Broadcast Yourself”, the like/dislike numeric values don’t update unless refreshed, and I also want to make the like/dislike buttons blue when clicked like how they were from 2019-21. The entire settings page is in a 2013-17 look. When I refresh videos, for a split second it gives me the 2013 UI and then when it’s refreshed the video has these black borders. Live streams are also completely broken. They’re still watchable, but there’s no Live page on channels and you can’t rewind or fast forward streams. In the player when you go to a livestream, for some reason it has a “notify Me” button even though the stream already started and the theatre mode button is still there for all videos. How can I disable that? On channels, there’s also no Shorts tab and I think Shorts even load as regular videos. On videos, it says “Share” and “Save” instead of being in all-caps like how it was back then, to say “SHARE” and “SAVE.” The Report button also used to be a quick function, at least in the mobile app, so how can I get that to appear instead of being in the triple-dot menu. The dark mode in the mobile app used to also be a shade of grey, and it may or may not have been that way on desktop, but I want the color from mobile anyway, so how can I get that? In the sidebar, there’s no Shorts button. Also, how can I get both Trending and Hype? I have an old jailbroken iPhone on iOS 6 with a tweak called TubeRepair to make the YouTube app work, and the YouTube app used to load the same videos as the trending page of the day as the videos on the home page, and despite the fact that the Trending page is now gone, it still loads the trending videos instead of Hyped, so I know it could be doable. Maybe someone can contact the developers of CustomTube/StarTube to contact the developers of TubeRepair to get the code for the trending videos? Maybe contact the developers to just make quick settings to change these options instead of making us do and go through 20,000 lines of complicated code? How can I fix my problems and get the app to my wants? Thanks so much.

As you can see here, on LOFI GIRL, a channel which is ALWAYS streaming, there’s no Live tab. On the actual stream, it won’t let me rewind or fast forward the stream, and it has a black border around part of the screen and the video only appears in the corner. It also for some reason has a “notify me” button for when the stream starts, even though it started a while ago. Also, when you like any video, the number doesn’t update until you defeat the page. What do I do?

Yes, the timeline realistically would take place around a 10-15 year span, but so far it’s been 31 years. Here’s my theory.
How the timeline in the first 3 lines up- The timeline aligns with the first 3 movies. Andy must’ve been like 3 or 4 in the first movie from 1995. Then 4 years later he could’ve been 7 or 8 in 1999. In Toy Story 3, 2010, 11 years after 1999 with Toy Story 2, he must’ve been 18 because he was going off to college.

Apple connection & Easter eggs in Pixar-
Something else I would also like to point out is that Pixar is connected a LOT to Apple because it was founded by Steve Jobs. There’s tons of Easter eggs in Pixar movies from Steve Jobs’ prime at Apple (and arguably Pixar’s prime too), in the 2000’s and Early 2010’s. In Toy Story 3, Molly was literally using an iPod Nano and the computer in Bonnie’s house and the one linked to the camera in the school had the traffic light and top bar (THAT CLEARLY SAYS  Safari) from Macs. Even in Toy Story 5, LilyPad had the traffic light and a blue folder icon that looked similar to the Macs of today (to align culturally of course, plus it hasn’t changed much and would still be recognizable for a 2012 timeline), and even a terminal window and user folder name, “ladybuggy”.

How Apple & other tech was culturally in 2010 and how it aligns with the timeline-
Back to the fact that Molly was using an iPod in the 2010 movie, the first gen iPad came out that year. Not a lot of people bought them because they had no camera and were thick and heavy, plus tablets from before Apple came into the scene were horrible. The people who did buy the iPads saw them as tools for purposes such as e readers rather than entertainment for all ages, and that’s why Molly wasn’t using an iPad. That’s also why Bonnie’s house had not one home computer, like most homes had in the 90s-2000s.

Why the timeline still aligns despite the time gaps in between release dates + why the release date gaps are much larger now- Before Toy Story 4, everyone knew the Toy Story franchise for Andy, and because Bonnie played a smaller role in Toy Story 3, she wasn’t as well known as Andy, which is why it took 9 years to carefully craft Toy Story 4 on how Bonnie would be the new main character, plus, there wasn’t as much demand because the main kid wasn’t in the picture anymore, so they were able to take more time to make it the best it can be. In Toy Story 4, the iPad 2 came out. It was thinner and had a camera, but it was still seen at the time as just a tool for teens and adults, which is why we never saw much tech in that movie. 2011-2012 was when iPads first really started to take off with youth, so Toy Story 5 must take place around then. It was still new but popular with youth, hence why Bonnie and the toys were confused when they found out about LilyPads. Because the movie aligns with the iPad’s spike in popularity when Apple first perfected it, and the world post… certain 2020 circumstances… back when people were forced to use tech and people were raised by tech which effected the generation who still played with toys can relate to that part of the film just like how Bonnie was. It aligns with when iPads first became popular with youth and the world today how that popularity has increased dramatically.

Additional car nerd outside info correlating to the film-
Some people might be thinking, “the new car Bonnie’s mom had looked like an EV!” Unfortunately, I can’t find any photos of it because the movie hasn’t even reached its official release date yet but some theatres are authorized to show it. But yes, it did look like an EV or high tech car. I have a perfect explanation for that. Despite the all-screen dashboard, the outside had a wrap around tail light bar. You know what shape car it was comparable to? The last gen Chevy Cavaleir/Pontiac Sunfire sedans, which had a wrap around light bar on its final facelift. Another car why was way ahead of its time and had a light bar for 2011 was the Saab 9-5, but the car in the movie looks more like a Chevy Cavalier/Pontiac Sunfire from its shape. Some of the other cars that weren’t official (the only one being a Volkswagen Beetle), resembled real cars, notably one resembling a Scion xD or 2nd generation xB (again, can’t find a photo.) Scion was launched in 2003-2004 by rebadging already-existing Toyota Japanese-exclusive models to left hand drive configurations (the xB launched in Japan as the Toyota bB in 2001.) The brand was first shown circa 2002, launched in 2003-2004, had its prime in the mid-late 2000s, and shut down in 2016-17. Aligns with a 2010-2012 timeline? I think so!

I had this iPhone 4s that I jailbroke semi untethered on iOS 9, and when I tried to downgrade with coolbooter, I used certificates from a website because the servers were down. It failed, and none of my jailbreak stuff would work. Over the past almost 3 years it’s been broken, I tried to restore it with many windows computers, an Apple Store Mac, and now my own Mac with LegacyiOSKit because I have one now and got numerous errors, including-1 and 48 in finder. I keep getting this error with LiK, and the first time, I didn’t apply any extra commands or software, and got a baseband error. This time around, I used the --disable-bbupdate flag. It still gave me an error 1004 when updating baseband. I saw that when using the --disable-bbupdate flag you shouldn’t restore to the latest version, so I did 8.4.1. Now it just boots up into recovery mode every time, and I used the “exit recovery” option and it just flashes the apple logo when plugged in or when the buttons are pressed because now it thinks there’s no operating system on it, let alone an iOS. I don’t know what to do. Please help. Thanks.
